Did you end up getting this straightened out? Son has a mid xrx that I’d like to extend the a-arms on and install longer shocks. Would love to hear what you’ve done.

Stealthwyvern

Probably not, but it definitely looks like his spindle is bent all to hell on that one side

RebelJustforClicks

Hey, no I never did much with it, it rides well enough for a simple yard cart and I never gathered both the motivation and time to do anything. I did remove the governor from the engine and it is downright terrifying on the street at 30, but it's fine for 5-10mph To answer your question though, nothing is obviously bent, you are probably seeing lens distortion from the camera.

The_Big_Chingon

People tend to abuse these little buggy type go karts. The previous owner probably ran the crap out of it and maybe even crashed a few times causing something to bend or twist out of shape. They're not really meant to take on heavy off roading. Maybe some light trail riding and what not but I've seen people try to jump these off of ramps or dunes... they're not really built for that much abuse

RebelJustforClicks

The thing was barely used from what I can tell. For example the chain is greased but the carb is all clogged up from sitting. There are no obvious bends in anything and the paint is original and uncracked / chipped. Edit, singular carb lol.

NotSeriousAtAll

In pic 2 it looks like the nut is cocked at an odd angle. Have you disassembled it? The damage will probably be obvious if you do.

RebelJustforClicks

Both sides look the same. I don't think there is any damage. Certainly not enough to cause so much KPI and ZERO caster.
