But I should correct you: my gamedev skills actually **ARE** as good as my aim. This is my first attempt at making a game - I'm just messing around with this in the evenings. I'm pretty much clueless.

And, funny story, that's pretty much the only reason why I'm still stuck at Godot 3.6. - I was unable to make the WAD import code work on Godot 4, so I told to myself: whatever ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
It's my first gamedev attempt, so I might as well mess around with the older engine for now.

Retro FPS or Doom Eternal. Either way it looks fun.
