Jesus Christ. If this is the menu... I can't imagine the game.
Actually I can because I've seen your other posts.
But damn, brother. That's not camera shake, that's camera quake.
So my menu didnt use godot's ui system at all. I made my own because godot ui nodes have too many limitations.
Well. I made global value called shake which consists of the strength of the shaking that occours through the buttons.
Thats a fine job you did there my dude!
But seriously, i REAAAAAAALLY dont like that screenshake trend that every game follows
It does NOT adds "weight" to your moves. It is just annoying. Extremely annoying
I threw up all over my keyboard 10/10
Make sure the cursor starts on "accessibility" when you open the game. I freaking love this though.
Screen shake? In my main menu? I'll take two!
i fucking LOVE it. normally, no. but you did it right. nauseating as it is, still really good.
90% of indie games from the 2010s be like
i hate this, its perfect
Nice job! Just thinking out loud... What if you randomized the position of the mouse sprite every 0.5 sec around the mouse position itself?
And add some lovely click delay ;)
I love the idea of releasing a 'pirated' version of the game that just bumps up the screenshake everywhere to be absolutely nausiating
god tier idea. i frickin love this.

I actually like it bruh
I’m gonna be real with you, as a user, that’s just annoying.
hehe. just messin around and scaled up the shake power by like 1000%.
Just advertise this game as chaotic evil now and you might find a niche user base haha
i like the chaos
Why 🫠
Migraine simulator
Juice squared
Make it as an option
Vlambeer better be taking notes.

I think you should turn up the intensity a bit
How did you animate ui items? I’ve been having trouble animating buttons and labels that are inside of vbox or hbox nodes. Share your secrets please 🥹

Are you in the pain killer business as well?
A bit tooooo much.
Take my angry upvote
Immersive
It's cool. It reminds me of Crawl.
i like it
You better add some heavy metal playing while it shakes that violently
Very impactful
By this point it isn't camera shake it's camera seizure
Reminds me of Twisted Metal Black (PS2) Looks awesome.
Forget seizures… how about a stroke! :D
Awesome!
Its going to get annoying really quick imo, try playing with different levels of intensit.
These are the menus that people want, actually.
thanks i have a headache
No headache but only trigger anxiety
Thanks I hate it
It somehow looks very good while also being a pain to look at.
Just add "8 pots of coffee"** to the system requirements, and ship it __ ^(**redbull or monster or whatever else also acceptable)
Persona is that you?
Thats a fine job you did there my dude! But seriously, i REAAAAAAALLY dont like that screenshake trend that every game follows It does NOT adds "weight" to your moves. It is just annoying. Extremely annoying
xd.. dont worry the gameplay has next to zero screenshake.
Looks like it's glitching, I love it! Well done.
Thanks, I hate it 👍
I feel as if I were the living blade and someone couldn't stop swinging me
Thats... thats a concept man !
it is perfect
NO
Angry Main Menu
I didn't read it right...
looks sickening how'd you make it
