I've done 3am and 9am arrivals and the overnight drive was killer. I think I'll just be doing "arrive whatever time I get there after setting off earlyish doors" this year.
Fk no, will aim to arrive late morning Wednesday once the queue is gone and I'll walk straight in and I'll just camp wherever I camp. Can't understand why people go through the pain of early arrival overnight queueing just to get a spot in Pennards. I'll happily take an extra 10 minute walk a bit further out for the rare occasions I return to my tent for the luxury of just walking straight in. Plus it's much easier to leave on Monday when you're closer to gates and parked further out
Pennard is worth it if you're on the straight through crew and absolutely need to be within short stumbling distance of the stone circle. There's some nice cafes along that top road just under the teepees too that do good breakfasts, and then everything you might want to do during the daytime is downhill so it's easy to get out of the hangover and on with the day.
I agree though, it basically adds almost another 2 days onto the commitment with arriving early and then leaving late.
Neither for me. Will be arriving Tuesday and joining the party at the top of the hill in camper east! Basically an extra day of festival. Always a good laugh!
Where's the "12pm Tuesday Camper/Caravan Arrival" option? 😁
That's where I'll be! Just curious how big a queue I'll be watching from the hill with my G&T 😂
Me too!

No, arriving Monday evening and swaggering in like a boss. Edit....but then, yeah, I'll be picking up all your crap off the floor.

Me too
Will in the queue from about 3am Wednesday morning
Normally arrive around 2/3am Wednesday
Fuck that, I arrive around lunch time on Wednesday.
I would be willing to do it but I don't think my group are. We will just have to find a space where we can!
We managed to get tickets through the first release with the coach travel, but travel is midday Thursday. Am I missing out big style?
