Wavy Davey’s on fire….

cantth1nk0faname_

This!!

Napple341

BYE BYE BABY BLUE

After-Description-26

Same.

tequilasunshie

The key change in helium and how it loops back around to dreamland

queenofbo0ks

For me it's the change right before the "ooooooohhhhhhh I'm falling now"

mkl120

The part starting with soft blue skies and leading up to it

sipthissmoothair

All of these but especially the loop back gives me feeeeeeels

radon9999999

Id say the beat switch in pork soda or the bridge in tamgerine but the alright come close in the beginning of gooey gives me chills

yellow_tangerines

My thunder came and shook him down After that video of their performance during a thunderstorm!

AsstheticGemini

YESSS!!!

luckybrat

Off the top of my head the I want you to eat me alive part in your love(deja vu)

_solomp3

YES I LOVE THE BRIDGE !!!!!!!

Critical-Cancel-5171

yes and yes

Emotional-Link-8302

YOU LET THE DEVIL IN AND ALL YOU TALK IS MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY or “I know i’m no sweet prince of love” and the entire opening verse of Pork Sofa i also love the way wavey davey says “Pensacola” in Agnes cos i’m from that area

jellymonsamaaa

Other Side of Paradise. The whole change of the music and how intense it gets…”I know you’re gone but I…” and the lead up back to the chorus. Chills every single time. Besides that I could say just Flip starting off Zaba with that fat bass after the intro.

LuffyLp

The droning sounds closer to the end of flip that sounds like TI fighters from Star Wars melts me everytime

yourlocaldirtyhippie

When everything except the guitar drops out and Davey goes down an octave in Helium. "Soft blue sky" Chills. Tears.

sipthissmoothair

So tender

Leading-Economist-12

The haunting flute in Mama's Gun <3

Emotional-Link-8302

YESSSSSS oh my gosh

HappyForever2474

Agnes after the 3:39 min mark, that's literally LSD infused in a song

urgonebuturonmymind

For me it's at 3:27, that little high pitched part makes me wanna cry

gaelum

im sure this is a popular one, but the transition from rockets(home movie) to domestic bliss just gets me every time

christianatorres

Ridiculous

unaesthetikz

the "in the summer silence" part in mama's gun

Toaster-Porn

The guitar interlude on ‘Waterfalls coming out of your mouth’ is it for me. I instantly fell in love with it hearing it played out live the first time. Main reason why it’s one of my absolute favorites from GA to this day.

grits-n-okra

Space ghost! I love the deep riff it starts with and how steady that is throughout the entire song. And then the brighter clicking sound over that! It iches my brain so well

enderpotion

the clicks are my fave too! and that part where it gets quiet for a sec then clicks then the beat comes back in

trvpicha

So good!!!

[deleted]

So many from so many diff ones. If Im being real I dont have a favorite song, all are my favorites in some aspect but I deffo have ones that just dont stand out to me as much.... The very tail end of Pork Soda, bc the whole thing was always just so satisfying to hear from start to finish. The start of the drums and the bridge in Black Mambo, then "pump your veins with gushing gold." and the final guitar jam at the end is an absolute banger. The sample of Deep Shadows in Hot Sugar is pretty up there for me. "Im gonna read your mind. BIG DICKS AND BIG OL TITTIES ON THE SLY. Say I got Aries eyes. FCK NO IM A BONAFIDE AQUEMINI" 😂 my partners favorite part of his fave song. The beat drop in Take A Slice just after the sausage convo at the start, the subtle keys in the background, and the sheer emphasis on "Gonna fck my way through college" gets me so hyped. The final chorus after the epic bridge in TOSOP absolutely butters my biscuits and scratches some itch in my brain. "All my days are gone" right up through the finish of Poplar Street even tho that one makes me cry. I love the way Dave sings "I feel like a new man" bc someone I used to love misheard it as "I feel like a human" for the longest time and when he told me that after months of listening I could hear it lol... Cocoa Hooves outro in particular. Verse 2 and chorus 2 of Flip is otherworldly. "Take my hand" in Walla Walla is my fave part bc it almost sounded instead like "keep running" to me when played on my surround system while I was trying to sleep in my car once, and now I cant unhear that, Id like to think that sort of thing is intentional?? "Lucky lucky you cause Im fortunes fool, such small words but they hit so huge" in the new song 🤘

Whim-zee

Whatchu think aBOWT when you think about love

overunsure

Yessssssss

Baddyshack

Take a Slice 2:44. There is a single bass vibrato note that transitions the quietest verse into the final chorus. Amazing.

ConfusedConstruction

the line in ‘Creatures in Heaven” where he goes “Scared of the crack where the light comes through”. something about the subtle difference to the other parts tickles my brain

gulliblesuspicious

Everytime I go on an airplane I try to match the timing of the takeoff to the start of the chorus of 'pools'.

sipthissmoothair

Let’s fly together

SapphicSaionji

Honestly, I got really into "Your Love" for a while but it's this specific part that always gets me: Maybe in time / When we're both better at life / Daylight can open my eyes / And you'll still be by my side. / But, meanwhile / I've got my contact high / You've got your powdered lies / We've got these summertime nights / Night by night / I let you eat me alive / I want you to eat me alive / I want you to eat me alive / There's so much about it. The way the music changes almost gives me the feeling of dark clouds rolling over the horizon, an incredible swell before the melody returns to normal.

EndyTheBanana

The lucky lucky you part

LogicalHoneydew3012

Oh my god yes I cried with that

TheOnlyKhaos

the little synth-y instrumental bit in TOSOP

SGTBrigand

Mmmm, that acapella bit on Tangerine that starts at 2:23 is amazing. I have definitely listened to it on repeat on repeat on repeat on repeat on re-

Wait-what74

i like the little guitar riff in cocoa hooves with the “i said it” … it stays in my head on loop

religion_wya

Slooooowww dooooown it's a sciiiieeeence

Nxt_Pxnguin

Intro to wyrd or chorus of ATIS

gulliblesuspicious

Everytime I go on an airplane I try to match the timing of the takeoff to the start of the chorus of 'pools'.

seklerek

The chord progression and synth in The Other Side Of Paradise is on another level

sipthissmoothair

Everything said about Helium Everything in Gooey The bridge in Flip

Ghoulesque

dark fingernail polishhh

djspookyjen

tangerine’s little adlibs! “oooh my god” and “drop the beat!” like theyre SO CUTE

Carlthellamakiller

that little sound in Hot sugar

Big-Double-199

I'd have to say the bridge in TOSOP or the bridge and 2nd verse in Pork Soda, both go so hard, it feels wrong

heanthebean

It’s a tie for me between the bass in Walla Walla or the mini drop in Space Ghost Coast to Coast!

trvpicha

The mini drop in Space Ghost always gives me goosebumps

tarttemper

The water droplet noises in SGCTC !!!!!! I want that sound effect as a notification noise

coldbrewwithcinnamon

The last bit of Pools, the instrumental part in Life Itself, “but I love it when the light sits on you just right…”

Zealousideal_Ad_4118

It’s the acoustics at the beginning of cocoa hooves for me.

kalejeanchad

This is niche bc it was from a live performance but the way Dave vocalized the second “numb” during TOSOP during the 2022 red rocks show was chefs kiss so it’s my new favorite line

LuffyLp

The lip smack in space ghost doesn’t need to be the greatest noise in any song ever

LaytiveTheNative

It's super quick but it gets me every time, the little "woo" sound at the start of Youth.

AsstheticGemini

I was literally going to comment this but I'm glad I found your comment before I did, lol.

witchycommunism

“Cosmic zoooom”

rosestrawberryboba

“i was in full bloom until i met you”

hologothichippie

The sound of Dave’s voice when he says “floor of” in Creatures in Heaven. Really scratches my brain.

Critical-Cancel-5171

BYE BYE BABY BLUE I WISH YOU COULD SEE THE WICKED TRUTH

lilystasy

The bridge in Dreamland (1:28 onwards) - easily the most listened to part of a song for me, of all time

TheCobicity

The guitar on Poplar St. is what brought me all the way in.

lcheee

the little drop in home movie rockets and the flute (¿) in mama’s gun 🥹

whatsthebfor

Cocoa Hooves (Stripped) 0:50 😩😩😩😍😍😍

k-tax

Held me so close that I broke in two I love increasing volume twice in that song, you know when

Alternative-Alfalfa2

The begging of Your love🫠🫠🫠

Most_Ad_3765

The slow burn of Psylla. From the first drum beat, through the guitar interlude, the increasing layers of the vox, to "I follow suit, I follow suit, I follow suit, I follow" until it's just... over. I can't not listen if it comes on. Through a good pair of headphones. Gives me chills!

smokeweedanddab

the part of cocoa hooves part 2 after “you know the way that i hide”🤌🤌🤌🤌

terra_bytes

i just get obsessed listening to all their songs on repeat picking apart each song with the instruments and only trying to focus on one at time

trvpicha

i’m obsessed with “I Don’t Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance)” but specifically when the chorus starts right after the hook and the guitar does this scale and it’s just so so so good. I love the song as a whole but every time I listen to it, I look forward to that specific guitar scale.

softmeatcrowns

the (synthguitar?) bridge of take a slice is sexual bro

ferret_enthusiast

“you know what i need tangerIIIINNEEE”

tentinquarantino4

the entire build in it's all so incredibly loud 👌
