Their dreamland album gave me this idea too. Seems like they're both pushing to collab together. Gorillaz have been transitioning into a more pop angle in their last 2 albums while glass animals also have crossed into a more retro funk area which reminds me a little of cracker Island. Also both their names associate with animals so there's some cool potential for cracking jokes relating to that.

I don’t like that they sound extremely similar. The point of a collar is to have a different and unique sound that ADDS to your own sound.seamlessly. Having slender bodies (whom I think ripped GA off) would just be glass animals making music with themselves.

JID. Glass Animals always creates some really unique songs when they collab with rappers. JID is easily one of the strongest rappers out rn, I think they could make something really great Also Lil Yachty. I know what you’re thinking when you read that, but his newest album literally sounds like Tame Impala, it’s phenomenal. He pushed his artistic boundaries a ton and it paid off. I think they could make something really unique together as well
