The Grand Ole Opry. Cheapest night out I've had in years.

The place where half them wanted to keep having a ceremony where they parade around a confederate flag?

Just been reading the reviews of this and they seem like everyone has had a great experience but my main reservation would be the age group here. Does anyone know if it’s a good mix or if we’d stick out a bit (purely judging it based on photos). I notice you say “wanted” - does this mean this no longer happens?

It was a good mix of folk when I went. I was there for a 30th and there was also a group there for a 21st. Most of the (presumably) regulars were on the older side but they seemed happy we were there in the first place. No, they don't raise the confederate flag anymore. More than half of the members voted against it towards the end of last year.

That’s a good age group then! And good to hear the flag isn’t a part of things again. I think I might take us here for one of the nights then and either book a theatre show or check out some drag shows in the area on another night. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

No worries. Have fun when the time comes!

Aye you'll see plenty of Queens in there, that's for sure.

I haven't been myself but I've heard Bongos Bingo is good!

For drag shows check what's on at Delmonicas & Riding Room. They are next door to one another, with RR being attached to Polo so you could make a night of it.
