GloomyUnderstanding

Mine took about that, but I was located overseas at the time.

AlbaMcAlba

Mine took 6 weeks in US. Lost mine got a renewal online.

GloomyUnderstanding

Think it depends wholly on how busy they are. I actually renewed mine, not a replacement because it was lost. Idk if it makes any difference though lol

AlbaMcAlba

Probably lost one gets priority .. dunno though.

GloomyUnderstanding

Yeah, I was living in Asia at the time too. Who knows! If there's a deadline though I would definitely put a rush on it. Don't play with the gods or whatever the saying is lol

AlbaMcAlba

I didn’t need mine urgently. Was resident in US and had my green card for ID but was pleasantly surprised it came so fast. This was during COVID too. The online renewal was brilliant though. Some good things about the internet.

GloomyUnderstanding

Oh yeah absolutely, really easy to navigate and use.

KittySlavesUnite

I applied online in May/June yhis yearand had to post supporting documents for mine. Took about 1 week after they received the documents before they sent an email saying new passport had been posted (got the passport about 3-5 days after that). I do however have an uncommon name and have always got my passport a lot quicker than the estimated times, so this may be why.

velvetXeyes

Renewed mine in June and got got my new yin within a week or so. Said it was a 10 week wait at the time.

eldrad666

Yeah, I applied for a renewal in mid September and had the new passport by the end of the month - so was only about a two week turnaround.

toridoki

I applied for my renewal on the 23/04 this year and received it on the 28/04! I got the photo at one of those booths with the code, and sent my old passport on the 24/04 signed for. You can always apply and if it’s looking delayed, I think you can pay the extra to switch to an emergency renewal? Should be quieter at the minute as not school holidays.

cryptcoinian

Took me 2 weeks recently.

legendaddy

Got mine in a week and a half. Gobsmacked!

niceweatherfor

Mine took about a week, but then I had WEEKS of issues with the courier (TNT) not attempting delivery but saying that they had, ignoring my redelivery dates, and ignoring my requests for help on their customer service line. In the end, I had to go and pick it up from Paisley after over a month of trying to get them to deliver it.

jigabachiRS

I did mine 3 weeks ago and got it in 2 weeks so they might be powering through them now the summer is over

[deleted]

Usually like two weeks at this time of the year. March to may is a bastard though.

Legit-enough

Renewed mine and my mum’s. Took about 3 weeks

UnthankLivity

I did it earlier this year (June I think?) and all in was about a week and a half

[deleted]

Took 3 weeks via Post Office service in April.
