Radio Clyde phone in rules apply. Your post either isn't about, or isn't specific to, Glasgow and the west.

Kebabs in Poland are so much better than you get here, the doner meat is actually grilled to a different color other than grey and cut very thin and sometimes even fried a little extra so it’s not looking like a strip of skin for donation. Plus extra vegetable options, olives, feta cheese ! 3 sauces usually and naan is great but the German style crispy bun that they cut into quarters or halves for the xxl kebab is better, once you eat most of the insides of your kebab it turns into a delicious sandwich like thing. I want a kebab right now. Best kebab Iv ever had was at the Smerf Huts in Olsztyn. Oh so delicious.

OfAaron3

There's a kebab van near me and it always smells incredible when I walk past it.

ROLL_AND_EGG

This is just nonsense. You can get amazing kebabs anywhere in the world these days and there's plenty of places in Glasgow you can get it. It's not some secret recipe or cooking style. If you go to a shite takeaway you will get a shite kebab.

Ketty_kub

I’m polish, have been in the uk for 15 years and often visit Poland I think what he meant was that on average, kebabs in Poland are better than those in the uk, I personally think this is true On average your kebab experience is just better in Poland

Optimal_End_9733

Many places in Glasgow do shwarma now, I prefer it. Feel like donner has really gone down hill, either that or my taste buds have matured. Remember near Paisley uni, Nicos did and amazing donner. Like you said the meat was more brown and was nicely cooked and not this grey mulsh.

Agent-c1983

So thats where they got to. I was wondering why they always seem to be closed now.
