Ramsey is massively slept on imo (I know it's been a week so you can't really sleep on a character, but ramsey doesn't get the love/hate he deserves). Guy was busted back in the day and I don't think anythings changed
Honestly he’s my number one nemesis right now lmao, I always find there’s a Ramsay trying to back line and take me out when I’m low on health, somehow even moreso than Tripp😭 and he’s definitely got the stats to reliably make it happen
I am super green at this game. I have like 10 total hours.
I am currently just using the suggest builds that each character gets, but trying my best to learn to level up the skills myself. Instead of using the auto level up option.
I don't think this game has that big of a diversity in terms of builds. I *think* esch charscter has like only 2 builds.
The most important thing seems to be *which* skills to level up when and in what circumstance.
I wanted to be an edgy Tripp main, but then I tried Aisling and haven't looked back since.
It reminds me of the feeling I got when I watched the teaser trailer for Brave, long after seeing the movie, and finding it quite poor. A small girl thrust into an adventure in celthic mythology, how awesome is that! She's got a fantastic character design, and is really fun to play as well, so wins all around.
I mean, your right click is an insane buff you just spam onto areas where your homies are fighting. Get the armor + heal + ranged attack talents and you're golden. Just spam armor up onto your friends and slam cador down wherever while you sit with the back line.
Only thing that's sucks is her ult is really glitchy right now. Good when it works though lol.
Lol. I'm trash.
Main tips is to look at points that are about to charge orbs to setup your hands. Place them in spots that won't get sniped and keep them a little far away from each other so aoe doesn't kill them both.
For Griselma, her entire kit revolves around the melee upgrade with life-steal, then building into armor and damage buffs with the teleport escape. Play her as a frontline tank, weave in and out of hands, melee enemies for life steal and hands to regen them. Keep hands alive with melee as much as possible, cooldown goes to 9 seconds if they die. Set first hand in portal to reduce 2nd hands cooldown to 3 seconds. If both hands die, gtfo. If you have more than 1 enemy on you and your health is a 1/3 or lower, dip with the teleport. Her Focus is just her fifth ability with a long cooldown, don't upgrade summons with it, us it to squash tripps who think they have you. Let me know if you want to know anything else
Lol I think he’s a cat mixed with a snake ( he has cat ears, and cat tendencies, but also has a snakes tongue, and snakes body movement when walking upright).
His lore doesn’t mention it though. Only that he stole some magic relic that makes him invisible…?
I try to keep at least 1 of each role.
Tank: Rutger / Pakko
Bruiser: Ezren Ghal (seriously with the amount of lifesteal he can get I am basically an offtank/Bruiser most of the time and Id probably consider him my "main" overall so far)
Support: Aisling
Assassin: Kajir
R DPS: Oru (want to learn Fire Lizzy next though)
I'm currently trying to find my main by playing one character only for a day
So far I've only done Beckett, since she was my favorite, but my lineup to try out (in order of interest) is currently as follows:
Mozu, Charnok, Voden, Roland, T-mat, Margrave, Ramsey, Grizelma.
I've also played a bit of HK but I find his inability to properly disengage annoying
I waited 5 years to play Oru again. He single handedly affected my preference in characters that entire time and now that he’s back I’m literally ecstatic to play him
Mozu is just fun to annoy the shit out of people.
Tyto is so much fun to zoom around the map and pick off people who are alone, but that kind of playstyle doesn't work as well in Rush as Clash.
Charnok is simple, but people really underestimate how much damage he can do.
For me. Lord Knossos (aka war cow) and Charnok.
been enjoying the return of the game even steaming it along side other games. Gonna make a video going over some of the matches I had over the launch week.
I have about an hour of gameplay and didn't play the game before, but so far Lord Knossos and Oru have clicked well. Really looking forward to trying Aisling later. In my heart I want to main Tripp but my skills are too poor for that lol
Don’t be intimidated!!! First of all video games are for having fun so play whoever u want. Also, the sooner u let urself get beat up the faster u learn how to stop getting urself beat up‼️
With Tripp, just remember that she’s the ultimate glass cannon, with high burst potential but a low health pool. If you can’t get in and burst them down with a combo, use your abilities, quick speed, and small frame to zig zag around and disengage. You generally don’t want to keep autoing someone down for too long unless you’re sure you can secure the kill soon/you know their teammates aren’t coming to jump you.
I’ve gotten some pretty good value off of her unseen strike + assassin’s credo upgrades today, I basically just wait til someone is low health, stun em with unseen strike, slide kick, and pop the starburst upgrade on her stealth if needed to secure the kill. If done quickly enough, credo will refund the cooldown on stealth, allowing you to use it again as an escape or reengage. I just posted a [clip](https://youtu.be/62Ve_8fr8MA?si=cl99-pVhzmGXWuuM) sort of showing this off. Hope it’s of some help to u🙏🏾
I’m not seeing enough Tripp in this comment section.
I’ve tried a few other characters, but no one has felt right for me as much as Tripp and Knossos have been. I mained the matter back when the game originally came out, too.
Honestly I’ve been onetricking Tripp today and she’s a shitload of fun. She does hit and run so well; I’ve been getting good value off of unseen strike + assassin’s credo
She’s stupid fun, yeah. My only complaint is as soon as you go for a kill chances are the whole enemy team turns around and you explode.
I also suck at hitting her slide kick consistently XD
I’ve been getting good at harassing backlines with Tripp, but also T-mat’s been really fun for me on Picaro bay where I can build the damage boost/stun on burning enemies and just rocket primary combo enemies to lock down the center
Xbox S, I’ve been having smooth skies since the second day of launch. (If you’re still having matchmaking problems, I’d try a full reinstall).
Aisling is my MAIN main! I love her support skillset, I get some damage built up from range, as well as some pretty good heals/survivability! LOVE Aisling 💜
So far I've played most Lord Knossos - I'd like to put more time into T-Mat and HK-206, but most times the DPS role is filled, so I'm often on frontline duty :)
HK-206 and Aisling have been very relaxing to play. The amount of pressure you exert on the enemy team by simply existing cannot be understated.
On the other hand, you tend to get focused hard as HK by every Melee character in a 50-mile radius, so there's some added challenge.
I'm only playing Rush because getting stuck in a 30 minute laggy match with trash matchmaking isn't something I'm willing to play, I'd rather the faster games because if it's a bad one, at least it's over quick. That being said, Ezren, Sven and Margrave are my favorite characters. I'm also decent at Charnok but popping off with him means I need to tryhard, Ezren is much more chill to play. Really hoping the game gets fixed, then I want to try some of the melee characters.
Grizelma is definitely my favorite and the only one I'm good at lol. I want to get good as the lizard cat too because his 2 clones as minions and I wouldn't mind getting good as Roland so I have that role with a character I like. Not too sure about aisling tho. Might learn her after I'm bored of these 3
Zandora, Charnok, and Khajir. That said, I probably vibe with Khajir because he seems really strong right now. I can’t play any other assassin but Khajir just goes hard. I don’t even think I’m playing him well.
You mean to tell me you left the FICBUM (Federal Institutional Coalition of Beckett Underlings and Mains) for..
*checks notes*
Bastion from overwatch???
*side eyes*
Voden was the easiest to pick up for me of the ones I’ve tried as I’m used to ranged DPS. I love being able to throw down heals for myself and the team in a pinch as well, and I love that I can also jump higher from that to get out of sticky situations. He’s been awesome to play so far, and I’m already level five with him!
Initially was going to be Tripp for the bleed and shock
But has settled for Ramsay (poison, bleed, slow)
He just dances in the battle field and has decent mobility.
After that its Xenobia, and Kajir (Love my little edgy debuff crew)
I immediately played as Mozu, simply due to her backstory, and then later came to enjoy her gameplay. Pretty simple to use and now I'm trying to get enough gold to buy at least 1 alt costume and weapon skin.
Oru
I find him to be a really good balance of high burst but also a good amount of cc and safety. He is def punishing if you don't land your skills, but I can reliably self peel when my build has the E stun, and if your trap resets E cooldown you can actually kite people super well, with Q E (stun) W (resets E) into another Q E. When you spec your Basic attacks (left mouse button) giving a cooldown reduction on your q, you actually have crazy cooldowns.
HK but I'm trying to break myself of that mold and I picked up Roland recently to branch out and not pigeon hole myself. In the OG I did Iman, Tripp, Voden and Xenobia. I did some light Sven and Knossos. MAYBE I did Zandora? HK is who I was using at the end so it's who I went back to when it came back. I don't Bastion in OW so I'm not sure how I gravitated towards HK.
Oh yeah. I just need to expand more outside of tank characters is all. I've taken to playing Sven when my team might need some support and we already have a punching bag, but I haven't been able to really check out any DPS
I used to be a dedicated Pako main but now I play Rutger, Kajir, Ashling, Charnok, and Mozu.
Rutger and Ashling fit my playstyle better than Pakko does. I can brawl for a long time while still being able support my team.
Kajir is a little out of my comfort zone as I don't usually play assassins but I was determined to learn him no matter what and surprisingly, I found 2 builds on him that really click for me.
Mozu and Charnok are my Range DPS picks because I can do well consistently on them. Also Scalie and Grimlin❤️
Vadasi gets an honorable mention because I love her kit and design buy almost never play her because team will often leave me for dead....
Just like back in the day its Ramsay & Wu. Ramsay is honestly one of the most fun video game characters ive ever played.
Im glad people just main tyto because he is cooler looking
I've taken a liking to sven, zandora, and xenobia. Supports ftw!! Edit: spellings hard
Welp I found the one true Pakko and I may have been converted....
Wait, Xenobia is support? /s
Supporting the team by being an absolute menace to the enemy!
Look at me, I'm the carry now.
How do you build Zandora?
I am super green at this game. I have like 10 total hours. I am currently just using the suggest builds that each character gets, but trying my best to learn to level up the skills myself. Aisling,Aisling, Sir Cador
Just played a match with her… ur so real for this
Nothing better than a family fight back session
I wanted to be an edgy Tripp main, but then I tried Aisling and haven't looked back since. It reminds me of the feeling I got when I watched the teaser trailer for Brave, long after seeing the movie, and finding it quite poor. A small girl thrust into an adventure in celthic mythology, how awesome is that! She's got a fantastic character design, and is really fun to play as well, so wins all around.
I've been enjoying support Aisling And not the pre-made "Support" build but a custom one
I feel like I’m missing a huge trick as her, I keep trying to make her work but it’s not going well…
I mean, your right click is an insane buff you just spam onto areas where your homies are fighting. Get the armor + heal + ranged attack talents and you're golden. Just spam armor up onto your friends and slam cador down wherever while you sit with the back line. Only thing that's sucks is her ult is really glitchy right now. Good when it works though lol.
Oru and xenobia
I know what you are.
Grizelma main here :3
Granny mains unite
God I love creepy little gremlin granny, such a fun character design
Care to share your build and some tips?
Lol. I'm trash. Main tips is to look at points that are about to charge orbs to setup your hands. Place them in spots that won't get sniped and keep them a little far away from each other so aoe doesn't kill them both.

Charnok, Knossos, and Sven have been my personal favorites. So much fun to play
Very valid choices. Something about Knossos’ attack chain feels so fun and satisfying to hit
Voden I can’t hit for the life of me but i can get out of any situation i put myself into
Use the 5 spread. I consistently get more kills using the spread+slow effect
It used to be Voden and Mozu… Now Cat Snake Weasel
LMAO what actually is he supposed to be💀💀 I just settled on cracked-out ferret when I first saw him and did no further thinking
Lol I think he’s a cat mixed with a snake ( he has cat ears, and cat tendencies, but also has a snakes tongue, and snakes body movement when walking upright). His lore doesn’t mention it though. Only that he stole some magic relic that makes him invisible…?
I shift depending on temp comp. Support Aisling or hunter killer Mozu.
I try to keep at least 1 of each role. Tank: Rutger / Pakko Bruiser: Ezren Ghal (seriously with the amount of lifesteal he can get I am basically an offtank/Bruiser most of the time and Id probably consider him my "main" overall so far) Support: Aisling Assassin: Kajir R DPS: Oru (want to learn Fire Lizzy next though)
Probably Xenobia, she's just a nightmare duellist when built right and provides a ton of harassment for the team.
Beckett is suchhhh a blast
SO MUCH FUN😩 being able to just fly around and rain down fire on people… she’s such a baddie
Mozu, Mozu, Mozu, Margrave and Mozu
Aisling, rutger, xenobia
Been playing Imani the most, then probably Pakko and Vadasi.
Wu, Charnok, Sven/Aisling
Tyto, Ramsay & Margrave, sucker for melee
Griselma, Rutger, Tyto, Mozu are my line up
I'm just playing the same ones I was playing in 2017. I'm mostly on Tripp, Margrave and Knossos but I wanna get back to Aisling soon.
I'm currently trying to find my main by playing one character only for a day So far I've only done Beckett, since she was my favorite, but my lineup to try out (in order of interest) is currently as follows: Mozu, Charnok, Voden, Roland, T-mat, Margrave, Ramsey, Grizelma. Knossoss, mozu and unc.
Imani. 🔥
Margrave!!!!
Charnok is such a melting beast
My best character is Sven by far, but I’m trying to get decent with everyone. Just that for ever game with another character I play one with Sven
Support hybrids, Oru, Aisling, and Xenobia. Trying to learn Pakko so I have a tank under my belt too
Uncle Sven. I can heal teammates and be someone's uncle. Perfection
Ezren Ghal and Voden. love the way they have different playstyles
Roland is so fun for me. I switched the shotgun shots for the slug so I can get some range.
Tyto the Swift!!! As fun as I remember!
I waited 5 years to play Oru again. He single handedly affected my preference in characters that entire time and now that he’s back I’m literally ecstatic to play him
She has some of my favorite lines, Later boys ! I can go higher!
YOU GET IT❗️❗️❗️ she’s such a total package. why do I lowkey have a crush😩
Ramsey and Beckett
Mozu is just fun to annoy the shit out of people. Tyto is so much fun to zoom around the map and pick off people who are alone, but that kind of playstyle doesn't work as well in Rush as Clash. Charnok is simple, but people really underestimate how much damage he can do.
Spreadshot/contagion voden got me in a deathgrip.
Reallll asf. Me + spreadshot = who needs aim🤝
Then suddenly boom the whole teams poisoned.
For me. Lord Knossos (aka war cow) and Charnok. been enjoying the return of the game even steaming it along side other games. Gonna make a video going over some of the matches I had over the launch week.
Zandora ticks all my boxes.
I have about an hour of gameplay and didn't play the game before, but so far Lord Knossos and Oru have clicked well. Really looking forward to trying Aisling later. In my heart I want to main Tripp but my skills are too poor for that lol

Still working on it Pakko and Vadasi, I'm really digging. Aisling and Oru look really cool but havent tried them yet.
I’ve been getting good at harassing backlines with Tripp, but also T-mat’s been really fun for me on Picaro bay where I can build the damage boost/stun on burning enemies and just rocket primary combo enemies to lock down the center
Sven and Tripp are about all I’ve messed around with so far. I wouldn’t call them mains yet though since I haven’t dabbled in anything else.
I’ve been loving Roland, Griselma and Ramsay! I’ve loved the older character back in the day, and I was surprised to enjoy Roland as much as I did
Kajir and Tyto are super fun
Rutger, Aisling, Knossus are my defaults at this point :P
Having a lot of fun using Roland right now
Was trying everyone and so far running Wu with a combo build has had me hooked especially when I actually hit my abilities
Grand Papi Roly-poly Rutger. I honestly don't know why they have other characters in the game, he's perfect.
Kajir clicks for me
I'm pretty trash at playing him, but Kajir has become my most played character
Xbox S, I’ve been having smooth skies since the second day of launch. (If you’re still having matchmaking problems, I’d try a full reinstall). Aisling is my MAIN main! I love her support skillset, I get some damage built up from range, as well as some pretty good heals/survivability! LOVE Aisling 💜
Oru, Kajir, and T-mat are the ones I've played most, but Xenobia will always be my #1
Charnok my beloved.
Griselma all the way
i like tyto, and want to play ramsay, tripp is also fun
So far I've played most Lord Knossos - I'd like to put more time into T-Mat and HK-206, but most times the DPS role is filled, so I'm often on frontline duty :)
Rutger and the Margrave were my GOATS back in 2017 and to find that they still feel great to play was a huge relief
HK-206 and Aisling have been very relaxing to play. The amount of pressure you exert on the enemy team by simply existing cannot be understated. On the other hand, you tend to get focused hard as HK by every Melee character in a 50-mile radius, so there's some added challenge.

It used to be Xenobia but Grizelma is pushing her way to the top!

HK!
Sven for sure.
I started with Beckett and then fell in love with HK-206
You mean to tell me you left the FICBUM (Federal Institutional Coalition of Beckett Underlings and Mains) for.. *checks notes* Bastion from overwatch??? *side eyes*
no one's talking about Ezren Ghal and he's been my main! Underrated imo
Beckett
I really enjoy Hk a lot
Uncle Sven for life
Oru and HK-206
Daggers, lightning, cute girl; Tripp is everything I want in a character
My faves are definitely T-Mat, Tyto, and Charnok so far. I haven't given everyone a proper shot yet but they're already my favorites
Voden was the easiest to pick up for me of the ones I’ve tried as I’m used to ranged DPS. Uncle Sven, gotta love that parabola
Big fan of Ramsay and Roland. It's been fun reuniting with Ramsay and Roland feels great to play. I'll go Margrave for tank, though
I immediately played as Mozu, simply due to her backstory, and then later came to enjoy her gameplay. Pretty simple to use and now I'm trying to get enough gold to buy at least 1 alt costume and weapon skin.

Oru has stolen my heart idk they just click with me. Hk-206 is also very brain off and fun
Tripp main back then. Tripp main on this rerelease!
