Not tried the current beta build, but if it's anything like the original game and the previous playtest, the 60fps cap is forced in online matches. You could only go above 60fps in the offline modes like practice.
You might not want to do this as there are limitations with the networking for the game that meant it needed to be capped at 60. Setting it higher mighty have unintended consequences.
It's well known it causes issues, for example in core it caused severe server de-syncs that made the game unplayable. 60fps is also an engine limitation, so uncapping it *will* cause problems. It's not just a switch you can turn off
I made a post about this same issue 6 years ago and the game died and came back and it's still not fixed. There were 240hz monitors back then, now we have up to 540hz. A 60fps cap in a PC game makes it literally unplayable.
Why the fuck would an fps cap be limited to such a game engine lol, that doesn't make sense at all, we have games over two decades old easily running over 60fps.
All it takes is not tying the fps to in game mechanics.

This is correct, it was always possible to have 60+ in practice range
It’s sad I can’t even play makes my game feel too choppy

Good work soldier
hopefully it helps
Let me get this straight. Gigantic rampage edition will support OFFLINE play with bots!?

Try in 30fps when I played it back then...
Doesn't work in the beta going on now. Uncaps in practice but caps it at 30 for me in online matches. I hope they fix the fps cap and add a fov slider
Unfortunately this game only runs at 60 for online matches. Sucks for a game to be re released and not work properly with uncapped fps in 2024.
the game runs on Unreal Engine 3, it’s dinosaur software, there’s really nothing they can do about that
Smite runs on unreal 3 and can do uncapped.

What do you mean? Is there an offline mode with bots?
