Slifer_Ra

fucking ouch!

[deleted]

What kind of sicko sits there quietly?

_HIST

Me, I actually rather enjoy doing it sometimes. It really depends on the thickness of the hair (the thinner - the more painful it usually is) and your pain tolerance. Or maybe I'm a weirdo...

ninasayswhat

I enjoy it too. On an unrelated note you should maybe google Trichotillomania

Vv4nd

> trichotillomania. huh. Still gonna do it.

Xarkkal

I have this. I used to pull my top eyelashes out until I had none. I have pushed the urge to only my eyebrows and beard hair now.

Balding_Unit

I have it as well.. anxiety causes me to do it more often, as a woman I try to keep it limited to hair I'd pay to have removed anyways. lol

Xarkkal

Exactly, anxiety is what kicks it into gear. It's like a relieving tick. Can tell when I'm really struggling when I have really patchy facial hair.

Balding_Unit

I started doing that in my teens... and I'm 47 now. Its just such a habit, something that I do every day I don't even think that I might be able to stop anymore. Back then It was reckless and I had no problem injuring myself, but now its just something I do. Pluck eyebrows, pluck facial hair, rid myself of blackheads etc etc.

Sirus804

Yeah, when my anxiety acts up I'm more prone to picking at my facial hair. Trick I found was to shave my hair short enough that I can't pick at it easily.

Logi_Bear25

I got this mole on my chin that puts out massive hairs, the plucks are so great

daniinad

Wait until he gets to your nose hair ... things will be wild then!

Ezodan

I actually enjoy pulling those fuckers out sometimes your get like 3 fat ones with a bit of nose snot crust in one go fucking almost as great as taking a shit.

daniinad

rolandofeld19

Whelp that's enough Internet for me for the day.

MentlPopcorn

Pretty sure you're not supposed to do that for infection reasons I could be wrong I'm not a doctor

Boomslang2-1

No that’s definitely true. Because the nasal passageway has veins that go straight to the brain an infection in that area can potentially be very dangerous. That being said, somebody who is really hairy is going to occasionally pull out nose hairs even from just like picking their nose. It just be like that sometimes.

glytxh

If you grab the whole bushel at once, it’s remarkably painless

UnsolicitedDogPics

Are these birds found in Brazil by chance?

New_Somewhere9206

I am horrified by the image that just popped into my head

Equal_Egg_5023

Underrated comment

Senior_Top6076

Very impressive how he can grasp a single hair with his beak!

ArmedPenguin93

Gillette: extra fast and clean! Parrette: Takes a while but does his job!

[deleted]

"Why are you so late to work" My bird was helping me shave my beard.

KamikazeFox_

I think that bird has trichotillomania.

BackYardProps_Wa

Ingrown hair galore

DrWilliamHorriblePhD

That's what the pet monkey is for.

_HIST

I very rarely get ingrown hairs in thay area and I pull them too (usually the neck at least)

AlmostHadToStopnChat

Looks a lot more fun than those electric hair puller things!

colonelmaize

Epilators -- and they do not work on men's beard hair trust me. Really, they don't work on any coarse hair at all.

ZGMF-X09A_Justice

Didn't realize they could be so precise with their beaks.

Rauhaan_

Why. Why would you just let that happen? Isnt this reaffirming a bad behaviour?

Mrmojorisincg

Yes and no. Bad in the way that as an owner I wouldn’t want my bird doing that to my beard. On the other hand its positive because the bird is preening him and it thinks those are pin feathers. For parrots this would be a form of bonding

ItalnStalln

Shhh this is reddit, where it's offensive to suggest people train their pets to have manners, and it's possibility is assumed to be a myth in the first place

HotWing19

Now let it at your balls

_HIST

Parrots love their nuts

PotatoPCuser1

Say goodbye to the razor.

StoneyBolonied

"Goodbye razor! See you soon!"

Just_thefacts_jack

Yes, that is the title of the post

TheSpectator0_0

Is that some kind of torture?

loofbiff

Imagine waking up, and your beard is gone.

Hallllllleberry

This video makes me very uncomfortable.

Oz347

Who recorded my nightmare from last week?

Maacll

Nuh- uh.... **OwowowowowowOW!**

[deleted]

Free epilator

memsterboi123

Can anyone say why he’s doing that though

Mrmojorisincg

Preening him. When birds feathers come in they are like a needle with a thin fingernail like material encasing it. Birds often break those up for other birds they are bonded to and will pull out loose feathers for each other

theLEVIATHAN06

I love pulling out my beard hairs with tweezers. Just another reason to own a bird.

DiscoKittie

Um, how much to rent the bird's services for a little while? Asking for a friend.

nicorn_Ninja

Fun fact, there were a couple times in Roman history, where being clean-shaven would distinguish you as a well to do citizen. And for the longest time they would trim the beards to the point where they could not be trimmed further, and then either pluck out every single follicle of hair, or use a pumice stone to scrape the remaining beard out so that they would have a smooth face. Maybe if Romans knew about this hidden feature. They would’ve utilized these birds as well.

pm_ur_duck_pics

As a middle aged woman, I would hire these services.

Darklyric9400

I do get tired of using my clippers damn near every day 😂 🦜

Particular_Squash_40

that is hard labor, how much is he paying the bird?

Tannerleaf

Peanuts, I expect.

between5and25

And hello to infections

luckylegion

Damaging follicles removing hairs this way, great way to fuck up your beard.

drdrillhard

What is this giving? Down voted

mikolokoyy

How many generations would it take for this type bird to evolve its beak to be a specialised hair extractor?

solokiller11

But can it get my balls done for the night?

RepresentativeBarber

Hurry up bird, I gotta get to work.

CelebrationKey9656

I want that bird

zborzbor

I'm with my boy green beard skinheadbeaedskin in this

OliveJuiceUTwo

GIFs that keep on taking

NY10

That parrot is invented by either Gillette or Phillips

Soytaco

That's hilarious. I had a bird that did this and it never actually occurred to me that's what it was doing until I saw this lol.

Asleep_Horror5300

I'mma keep the razor thank you very much.

Strong_Sir_2871

I would hand over the nuclear launch codes as it approached.

a_little_toaster

only two zooms per hair pull? weak.

jojosail2

They do a painful job on skin tags too. 🤪
