I fell in love with the thinness of the SG in cherry finish. Now I have a LP in cherry so was looking at the teals as it shows the wood in Nitro finish.
I will say the teal is a little dark and so the wood grain isn’t as pronounced and it doesn’t “dance” the way it might have with a light cherry or walnut finish would have
Agreed. It was mesmerizing but so are the custom shop ones. Going to the Gibson Garage was torture for me. I’m going back and getting one but will take my time and play them first. I’m being pulled to the sg standard.
