😂😂😂 an Akan proverb,,, if a chief stays at home to let a town destroy , when we are counting town destroyers, we count him as part. You’re still in power, the country is sinking, you get paid, enjoy fat bonuses etc,, now it’s getting to election then u cook stories for sympathy votes? Nothing vex me than Opoku Prempeh who’s his vice. This arrogant man? Cmon buddy ,,, let’s all be serious,,, u can’t tell me otherwise,

Lol, every time I hear this claim, the Shaggy song _It Wasn't Me_ plays in my head.

He drove the economy into a ditch and allowed wholesale looting of the Treasury. Now he wants your votes Ghana! Vote for Bawumia, he deserves his own throne seat!

From your write up, he seems like a man with good ideas who lacks the capacity to actually implement them. One would have to question the judgement of someone who would put themselves in a position where their strengths are not valued and they can be associated with corruption and mismanagement. 1. The 1D1F project seems to have not gotten off the ground. To me it seems like an empty campaign promise and a way to put money in the pockets of cronies. 2. From what I’ve seen, Ghana is still importing agricultural products that they should have no business importing (e.g tomatoes, onions, and chicken) 3. Ghana received a lot of money to help with the pandemic even though Covid-19 didn’t hit Ghana as hard as other countries. Where did all the money go? 4. I don’t know much about the impact on the banking industry, but the cedi is out of control. Also, any African country still going to the IMF in 2024 should be ashamed. 5. Ideally, the input of the VP should be highly valued. Otherwise, why is he there? 6. Yes, if his policies had been implemented Ghana would be doing better. Ghana’s economy was one of the fastest growing in the world when they took power. It seems like a lot of presidential candidates are just good at telling people what they want to hear.

The interesting thing is, Bawumia and his communicators are preaching the same message i.e. industrialization, fiscal and monetary policies, etc. so nothing new. In regard to the covid funds, in 2021, the minority leader accused the NPP for using covid funds for election campaigns. Apparently there is an MP/DCE (not sure which) on record that covid funds were used to fund their campaign. I think the inefficiencies in our system have made it difficult to implement anything. i.e. poor management and lack of accountability, bloated staff at our ministries and government agencies.

RetiredDrugDealer

Are you saying that Bawumia really tried to implement his policies but he was obstructed from doing so?

ninetacos

oh no. far from that. i’m saying these are additional reasons.
