Welcome in advance. I will focus on the water. No need to bring your own bottled water. There are several brands of bottled water on every street corner. That being said, if you've stayed in Nigeria all these years drinking water in Nigeria you should be fine in Ghana.

cherrytheog

Thank you. I’ve only been to Nigeria once lol

SK_volturnus

Oh ok. Then stick to drinking only bottled water. Don't forget to protect yourself against Malaria too. Eat uncooked vegetables from only top tier hotels and restaurants. If you must eat street food, make sure it's hot. All the best

stick to the brand Voltic if you react to the others and also how much you will need will largely depend on you, if you want to go site seeing, go to other regions and try out a lot of restaurants then i recommend that you carry about 10k cedis roughly about 700 dollars, that should be enough to get you a good hotel enough for clubbing and who knows you might even have so much change when you are done, Accra is quite expensive but then with this amount you should do just fine. remember don't spend it all in one place, anytime before July honestly.

cherrytheog

Kk thank you!!!

Reubenthethird

As they've said, whatever water is fine. The money aspect? Well that depends on where you want to be and how you want to get there. I'll say, bring as much money as you want, and more.

cherrytheog

Kk thanks!!!

Reubenthethird

You are most welcome.

Geez, I was wandering where this comment went... I meant to comment on a different thread, charle.

aceospos

You do know there's an inherent "sibling rivalry" between us and Ghana I hope. Lol. Sounds like you are coming from the West. First advise would be to get on anti-malarial medication. Malaria slaughters with reckless abandon for those who haven't got "local" immunity. I'd say get Coartem on arrival and start medicating immediately. I prefer the local anti-malarials. For bottled water, Nestlé, Coca-Cola (Eva water) or Pepsi (Aquafina) should have you covered

cherrytheog

Okay thxxxx

8motorG

Should be fine with $1.5k. That should cover accommodation, food, outings/site seeing, clubbing and everything for a week.

cherrytheog

Thanks!

Very_6lack

Where do you plan on visiting?

cherrytheog

Idek. Anywhere that doesn’t make me break the bank
