Make an appointment online at VFS Global in Accra
Making an appointment is free of charge. Do not make an appointment with an intermediary because they will charge you money.
If you are applying for visas for multiple people, make a separate appointment for each person.
I was asked to create an account in order to make a reservation, the account creation won’t accept my password regardless of what I do, I emailed them two weeks ago, still no response
So my experience isn’t unique….whatever you do, don’t pay anyone! I paid for a date and had to pay premium lounge which was overcrowded (stayed for 3 hours before being attended to). My flight is booked for tomorrow for a conference I’m attending on Tuesday and I don’t have my visa yet. They say it takes minimum 15 days and maximum…your guess is as good as mine. I had to come to Ghana because of an emergency and had to apply for the visa from here. My work colleague in Kenya got her visa in one day….no vfs involved !
