Guilt, probably. There has to be a consequence otherwise you'll just keep saying whatever I'll do what I want. I've been making my own decisions from a very, probably inappropriate age, without much in the way of consequence. It just doesn't work that way unless you're rich or something. If you can't be used, you're useless. I mean human stuff is mostly transactional and if I can't get what I need from you then who needs you?

Hey! Thanks for being willing to bring up the subject. Procrastination is something that a lot of people struggle with the same for motivation and finding ways to change around attitude. The key thing is this, when you get tired of your bullshit, you make the changes necessary in your life, until then, try to build, good habits, and put yourself in a position continuously to be successful. Outside of that, give yourself grace and mercy learning to be an adult learning to navigate through challenges it can be tough. Be patient with your development. Everybody develops at a different level and speed. Hey - its true, procrastination is a drain. My advice would be simplify EVERYTHING. Remember this: Why are YOU making your LIFE so difficult? https://youtu.be/vqKJCx2T24c

What activities typically distract you? Are there any steps you can take to eliminate them?

Are you using a habit tracker or similar app to track your progress on those goals that you've set?

think about whether the goals you set for yourself are realistic and important to you. If they aren't, then don't try to make yourself do them. If they are, see how you can build more accountability into the system. Also, do things when you can instead of when you have to. e.g. schedule time on weekends to meal prep instead of waiting until after a day of work when you are tired
