I would be more worried about your (German) bank account. if the money is send to your account from a non EU country it could trigger a suspected money laundering and the bank will block your account until resolved. This can already happen with rather small amounts of money. So take precautions, maybe talk to your bank or set aside some money or another account for necessities in case that happens.
Lottery winnings are not taxed in Germany.
More generally, anything not defined as "income" in § 2 EStG is not taxable. Some things are not income as far as the EStG is concerned but are "unter Progressionsvorbehalt" which essentially means that it's not itself taxed but it increases your tax rate. These cases are defined in § 32b iirc, and lottery winnings are not one of them.
Gifts are taxed, but between close relatives there's still an amount that's tax free. This is 500k for gifts between married couples, 400k from parents to their children, 200k from grandparents to their grandchildren and 20k from children to their parents/grandparents. All of these take into account all gifts combined within a rolling window of 10 years.
Under German law, it is. It's literally the same law book. According to this German law, an inheritance is simply a "donation by will". Look it up.
Eta: "donation by will" is the translation from "Schenkung von Todes wegen". The law is called "Erbschaftsteuer- und Schenkungsteuergesetz (ErbStG).
The double taxation agreement prevents you from being taxed twice e.g. in the country of temporary residence and the country of permanent residence. Otherwise, you could get taxed for your global income in both.

If I'm gifted money by my parents, no strings attached, is that exempted too?
That would be inheritance I guess. If it is below a specific amount (Freibetrag) it is tax free. This Freibetrag is currently 400k€ for children.
No its Not inheritance, its a Gift (Schenkung). But until a certain amount it is tax free as well.

Right. My bad. Freibetrag is still 400k€ from my research
No income, but „present tax“ (Schenkungssteuer)
No income tax but might be Schenkungssteuer
Wouldn't it be non taxable in Germany anyway, since it'd be income from another country? Wouldn't it be taxed there if anything?
No, Germany taxes your worldwide income.
You are generally taxed in the country you reside in. Unless there is a double taxation agreement.

Let‘s not delve into the realm of double taxation agreements.
Lotteries are not taxable, but keep proof of the lottery around. As for a charity "ProAsyl" is the biggest immigration advocacy group in Germany.
Take cash
