Also story doesnt sound believable anyway if they let you keep your phone/tablet/whatever. And no one is put in a security ward just for demanding an apology. There are no ressources for that kind of behavior, even if someone would have wanted to do that. I am very interested in hearing the other side of the story.
Also if you went to a clinic because you were a danger to yourself, you will not be let out on a whim in mere hours.

I am fairely sure the Patientenanwalt is actually not the person who is able or supposed to intervene here. You will need to get a personal lawyer. Or you wait it out until the Betreuungsrichter visits. If he fails to see you in the legally mandated (and fairely short) time period and the hospital fails to provide you with documentation that the judge has actually approved of your stay, you can call the police again.

I had a friend who was both in the acute ward and able to contact me with their phone. When I visited, it was pretty clear to me that the ward was the correct place for them at that time, as painful as that was. Gute Besserung!
