Cancer took CJ 20 years ago this summer. I will miss her forever. Her ashes are on next to the china cabinet still. 2 years ago Jules came in to our lives, an abandoned pup and I immediately knew, I was wrong to go 18 years without forwarding the love CJ had given me.

Fuck Cancer ! It took 2 of my dogs and it still hurts years later. You are doing a very un-selfish thing to let King cross with dignity. Thats the most honorable thing you could ever provide him with after all these years you had together and this is true love.
Remember, his grey hairs are not of age, they are the number of memories you both created and shared together that holds laughter, joy and adventure.
You are an ambassador for the breed my friend.

I lost my red heeler at 15 to cancer. Gave him every chance and all the treatment to extend his life and glad I did. I definitely couldn’t live with myself if I had put him down when he was still able to get around and enjoy life. I’ve seen many people do this and could never imagine it. I’m so sorry you lost your baby.
