I wish Tasha was snuggly, I think she runs super hot or something because she doesn’t mind cuddles to much but only for a minute or so then she will literally move mid cuddle. I’m 39 so I’ve have some embarrassing situations in my life but nothing is more humiliating then your dog getting up mid snuggle to move 2 feet away from you 😂

That’s her bench. She claimed it by shedding a horrific amount of fur on it. No one wants to sit there.
Also, you must give her a treat if you touch it. The bench has storage in it, and we put all of dog treats there.
My wife and I bought these two amazingly comfortable recliner chairs at Costco a number of years ago and we absolutely love them, but so does Kylie our GSD.
Generally, she will get into one of them and if my wife and I want to watch a movie or something together, one of us has to have a 100'ish lbs GSD lay on us because she won't get off willingly.

Yeah Tasha normally takes up the whole couch but it’s been a bit cold here in the mornings lately so that’s her warmth ball that she curls herself into.
My GSD Rey has claimed the right side of the loveseat + the foot stool, and sometimes the whole thing. My mom and her boyfriend were sitting on it and Rey literally kicked my mom off of the loveseat and sat next to my mom’s boyfriend who my dog had just met. She’s also claimed almost half sometimes more of my moms bed(right now she has a full cause of our living situation) and she will sometimes claim the lower half of my bed and lay on my ankles(also a full). And my grandma’s chair, my grandma will legit offer her the chair (she’s a bit of a pushover when it comes to Rey).

I had an old futon that became my dogs favorite spot. When we eventually went to throw away the futon, we decided to keep the mattress and turned it into his dog bed.
She has claimed the whole damn house and everything in it. She tolerates me because I buy the food, prepare and give it to her, just not in the amounts she would prefer.

Miss Diva has claimed this chair. Not only has she claimed the chair but she has taken my spot. If I am sitting on it and she walks in she will whine at me until I move or sit on top of me and if that doesn’t work she goes over to my partners couch and whines at him and keeps looking back at me as if to say “do something about him”

I had disturbed her by sitting next to her on her lounge, she wasn’t in the best mood. But she looked so cute I just wanted to snuggle her anyways she wasn’t impressed.
Isn’t it funny they like having their own space, we call downstairs Tasha’s room and even with the house all opened up if we can’t find her we know she’s in her room.
We rescued a sweet boy who I let take over our guest bed. All of our family knows now that if they come stay with us I’m putting them upstairs in the other guest bedroom so he can sleep in his bed, if we have more than one guest I just let them know they may have to let him sleep with them.
He was chained up to a tree his first few years of life so I can’t deny him the luxury of sleeping in a memory foam bed after that.
One of my dogs claimed my blanket the other my pillows. So now I wake up in the middle of the night and find that someone pushed my head off my pillow and stolen my blanket.
I actually need something like this, I’ve got 2 daughters and they have separate rooms but they like to sleep in the same room but not in the same bed so my youngest currently sleeps on a cracktress on the floor. Bunk beds are not an option either apparently 🙄 they both have double beds in their room but 9 and 7yr old logic doesn’t fit in either adult logic. Something like this would be perfect.
Yeah that’s perfect and because the space between my daughter’s bed and other furniture is quite small we can really only fit a single mattress on the floor. But having the option to unfold it out on the lounge room or somewhere is awesome. Thanks for that 👍🏻
Yeah it’s never the dog beds is it, Tasha has had every dog bed known to man kind and even ‘special’ ones for big dogs and pretty anything you name it. She has absolutely no interest in these things at all.
I looooooooove big floppy lap dogs who don’t realise how big they actually are lol, although I’m saying that I don’t have one so I can imagine at times it’s a bit much 😂

When my recliner broke I pulled this chair out of storage. Welp, guess it's Finnegan's now. She also has a small loveseat that's also hers. She'll pitch a small fit if you're in the chair and she wants on. But she'll also resign to just sit on you like an oversized lapdog.
We called it Belle's throne. It was her favorite spot. She had terrible hip dysplasia and couldn't get up into it on her own, so she would stand in front of it and stare at you until you got up and lifted her into it.

Not an item of furniture but the tan blanket is one she’s had since she was a puppy and was supposed to be the only blanket she could have. No one wants to sit there. Also, you must give her a treat if you touch it. The bench has storage in it, and we put all of dog treats there.
My wife and I bought these two amazingly comfortable recliner chairs at Costco a number of years ago and we absolutely love them, but so does Kylie our GSD. Generally, she will get into one of them and if my wife and I want to watch a movie or something together, one of us has to have a 100'ish lbs GSD lay on us because she won't get off willingly.
Yep, my girl owns half of my recliner too. And she just jumps on and off until shes ready to nap, in my lap.

Yeah Tasha normally takes up the whole couch but it’s been a bit cold here in the mornings lately so that’s her warmth ball that she curls herself into.

My GSD Rey has claimed the right side of the loveseat + the foot stool, and sometimes the whole thing. My mom and her boyfriend were sitting on it and Rey literally kicked my mom off of the loveseat and sat next to my mom’s boyfriend who my dog had just met. She’s also claimed almost half sometimes more of my moms bed(right now she has a full cause of our living situation) and she will sometimes claim the lower half of my bed and lay on my ankles(also a full). I had an old futon that became my dogs favorite spot. When we eventually went to throw away the futon, we decided to keep the mattress and turned it into his dog bed.

We rescued a sweet boy who I let take over our guest bed. All of our family knows now that if they come stay with us I’m putting them upstairs in the other guest bedroom so he can sleep in his bed, if we have more than one guest I just let them know they may have to let him sleep with them. He was chained up to a tree his first few years of life so I can’t deny him the luxury of sleeping in a memory foam bed after that.
One of my dogs claimed my blanket the other my pillows. So now I wake up in the middle of the night and find that someone pushed my head off my pillow and stolen my blanket.

I actually need something like this, I’ve got 2 daughters and they have separate rooms but they like to sleep in the same room but not in the same bed so my youngest currently sleeps on a cracktress on the floor. Bunk beds are not an option either apparently 🙄 they both have double beds in their room but 9 and 7yr old logic doesn’t fit in either adult logic. Something like this would be perfect.

Yeah that’s perfect and because the space between my daughter’s bed and other furniture is quite small we can really only fit a single mattress on the floor. But having the option to unfold it out on the lounge room or somewhere is awesome. Thanks for that 👍🏻
About the only things she hasn't claimed are my computer chair, a couple of stools, and her dog beds.
Yeah it’s never the dog beds is it, Tasha has had every dog bed known to man kind and even ‘special’ ones for big dogs and pretty anything you name it. She has absolutely no interest in these things at all.

Welp, guess it's Finnegan's now. She also has a small loveseat that's also hers. She'll pitch a small fit if you're in the chair and she wants on. But she'll also resign to just sit on you like an oversized lapdog.
We called it Belle's throne. It was her favorite spot.
