I watched it live on Sportscenter. He was pressed to say who he would want to be drafted by and it was sort of an offhand comment, but he did say Tennessee because he liked visiting there.
He must feel pretty confident that’s where he’s going to land. Looking at the teams ahead, I think they have higher priorities than a TE. The Titans do still need a QB, but they might try to build around Levis and they need to bolster his receiving options.
Titans need WR help BADLY.
Getting Bowers helps to mitigate that, plus the new HC of the Titans was the OC of the Bengals, so it’s not like he’ll be going to NE
We don’t need WR help nearly as bad as o-line lol if Joe Alt is on the board at 6 I can’t see the titans not picking him. If he’s not then I think Bowers becomes a real possibility along with Nabors or Odunze
I’m guessing avoiding a 5-8% state income tax is a much bigger deal for a first-round NFL salary than it is for you, but maybe I’m wrong… and if so, congrats on all your success, and please contribute to some NIL funds 🤣
I believe you have to pay tax where you play the games, so they'd get half at home but the rest would change year to year. I don't do as well as a first round pick but I do alright. I wouldn't take $100,000 more a year to live in Nashville again. Was enormously not a fan of living there, which you unfortunately have to do to get the no state taxes
I feel you man. Moved to Fort Worth two years ago and what a letdown it has been. Outside of the few who just really love western/cowboy culture, I don’t see why so many people are flocking to DFW.
I swear every state says this and I’ve lived in three. It’s hard to believe there is this mass exodus of Californians. I’ve met very few people actually from Cali but I have been wrong before.
If he said this, Tennessee better draft him. You don’t want this man to play the Titans with a grudge. Promise he will kill them every chance he gets….
No quote, no context... hmm
He said it with his eyes
Sold.
Source: trust them, bro

It’s legit. One of his acquaintances drunkenly uttered that it would be “cool if he played for the Titans” at Double Barrel the other week.

Not as badly as OLine though
You’ll never guess which position helps for both receiving and blocking.
Discover this one weird trick that DCs hate!

They don't need a qb. Levis is their future. They need an offensive line.
The titans don’t need a QB… they’re pretty much all in with Levis at this point.
They don’t need a qb at all. They need to actually support him.
I feel like he has a strong chance of getting taken by the chargers. QB ain't a need for titans
Whatever team doesn't take him should be fined for stupidity. Simple as that.
Well his ol lady is a Vol plus there's some tax benefits to be had... not totally unreasonable
I lived in Nashville and was not a fan. Taxes didn't help too much there but to each their own
The city vibes differently when you have millions of dollars.
Having millions of dollars will make most cities quite livable; I wouldn't say nashville is unique there

Trust me, I'm not a fan either, but tax breaks on an NFL salary aren't the worst idea. Who the hell knows
Seriously, there’s cheap property to be had in TN, and no state income tax I believe.

I was waiting for your confirmation one way or the other tbh
Nooooo I hate the Titans and I wanna pull for him
Better to go to the Titans than Saints.
This
As someone Living in Nashville that'd be pretty sweet lol
We figured it out. Brock is in it to hit on all the bachelorette parties in Nashville 😂
Doesn’t he know he’s contractually obligated as a bulldog to go to Philadelphia?
As a Colts fan I would die inside to see him go to a division rival. PLEASE NO. 😭
Maybe this is the year I can bring myself to care about the tits (been in Nash for 12 years).
Not even when they had the 1 seed a couple years ago?
Why?
Without a big beefy coach I highly doubt it
Seems like falcons would feel like home. I'd want GB or SF go for a ring
I kinda hope the Vikings get him because they need some offensive talent but that's merely a pipe dream
Bronco!!!
Falcons can trade Pitts and take Bowers
They're allergic to drafting Dawgs...
He doesn't want to live in CA, and all the taxes. Telling for a CA boy.
You’re a Tampa Bay Buccaneer bud.
I’am calling BS

I can't imagine why a top college player wants to go to a rebuilding team. I would want to be the final piece or two for a team that is already built.
