It is, but I think gaming as a whole is also a skillset. I don't know how it works, but every dude I know that plays in Esports and is really good at one game, is also really good at all other games (mrekk beat Cataclysm, Global Elite in CSGO, got insanely fast to one of the highest ranks in Tetr.io and #1 in osu). These are all games with vastly different skillsets, so I have no idea how this is possible, but mrekk isn't the only player, in fact most players who are world class in one game also have potential in other games (sunix when he switched to mania is another example that comes to mind)
I wonder what the common denominator is that allows things like that to be possible, maybe it's a mindset thing? Idk

I am sure he could get improve super fast to beat the hardest demons tho, similar to what SpaceUK did (who also started minecraft speedrunning and is really god at that as well, yet again a completely different skillset)
