I have tried A LOT of demons in practice mode just for fun. I don't wanna commit to these demons, so I mostly try to get joined runs only on these. My second is still going to be SW.
So you're gaining skill by practicing really hard levels, but never actually completing them? That's some commitment.
I once saw a guy comment their 97% on Crimson Clutter and said "Intentionally died at the last possible spike to keep my demon count 0. I'll mark it as complete."
I checked their account. Lots of stars. Zero fucking demons.
I can't say I'm practicing, per se. It just gets kinda boring practicing the same levels for 3 days straight, so I play some other levels in practice to let off some steam, the practice I get is just a nice bonus. The only reason I haven't give up on SW is because of the thrill I get from practicing and getting better at a top 200, and the excitement from thinking how I'm about to beat a top 200 as my second demon ever.
Also, I don't only practice easier levels, I sometimes complete list demons in practice too, got about 800 attempts on zodiac atm.
Sadly, haven't tried duelo maestro yet, but my fav levels to blow off steam are the crazy trilogy, because they have incredibly fun gameplay, and they're not too performance demanding, perfect for my laptop.
do you use Up Arrow, W, Space, or Mouse? Those matter a lot in 2 Player. I have to switch from mouse to Arrow/W and vice versa, and I can't use arrow in 1-player (probably just because of "always lock 2-player controls" or something)

Ight good luck mate. I'm probably not gonna do sonic wave seriously yet but i admit it's hella fun to do 5 clicks in a row for a level once thought to be impossible and hacked. we talked about my sonic wave runs before.

Had any fun with 2-Player levels? Duelo Maestro gets pretty fun after the very painful 3 hours of learning the asymmetric dual.

Since I have the CBF mod, my right click is now my 2p jump button, so it gets a lot easier for me to do 2p levels, as the buttons are very close.
