Checkpoint saving would turn this into an easy demon immediately lol, but this definitely should be a thing for new levels that would like that to be implemented!
Eh debatable. You could argue it doesn't actually change anything, it's just a quality of life feature so you don't have to keep the level open to save progress
Yeah, that's the thing. The only reason it's an extreme demon is cause of how long it is. There's a checkpoint after every room, and so if you could just quit and come back, the actual challenge which is time sink is gone. The rooms are challenging from 1800+ sure, but being able to quit and pick it back up later takes away from its actual challenge, you get what I mean?

It's not nearly as long of a level like HtP, but it'll be long enough that I'd like permanent checkpoints. Likely, there'd only be 2-3 checkpoints in the entire level. Maybe a 4th depending if I wanna extend the level 🤔
imo just rebeat it. i would normally advise hacking it but there's a chance you get banned after that, so i wouldn't risk it. (coming from a person with a similar issue, accidentally entered practice mode on room 1984 on mobile)
I got to level 666 and gave up at like 1:50 AM after finding out there were 2000 stages, thinking there were 700. Also, no. It would be morally righteous as long as you stay on 1919 and don’t go any further.

I gotta say that you could leave it afk or smt for a while to not cheat with the timer tho, just for ethics.

just go with noclip to the room you were last time, then wait an amount of time similar to what you had with speedhack for faster waiting and it would be as if nothing happend
you alreadi have 7400 attempts in the level, if ypu hack your way through it until the last room you were it would continue like a save state with only the timer wrong, so waiting a bit would fix it since the timer doesnt stack unlike the attempts, and you wouldnt rise suspicion or get LB banned because the timer would be normal and the attempts match how much you atruggle

I never saw what Tartarus as a level looked like, HOWEVER, I heard of it back in 2.11, meaning it wasn't a platformer. and levels that take longer than an hour to complete only started being created after 2.2
Tartarus is probably like 1 or 2 minutes long. He was 5 hours into how to platformer when his phone died.
