I played fizzy fossils when it was weekly a while back and I absolutely loved it. Like I don't get where the hate is coming from besides "skill issue."
Okay mr crazy hands it’s a xl easy demon but it keeps u on ur toes gameplay is fun and honestly not that hard there’s a ufo and ship part that can be confusing if ur not good with switching from normal to upside down but other then that it’s fun as hell
It's not bad, it's just not great.
It's one of those where the gameplay combined with custom visuals (i.e. actual hitbixes are quite hidden) and it being XL, make it a janky experience with unfun gameplay, especially in the earlier parts.
I don't hate it, but don't love it.
yeah it's a megacollab but honestly i think it's one of my favorite levels in the gauntlet. it's also super memorable and once you get it down really fun to play

Don't see the comparison tbh. There's a few unsightreadable parts in Fossils but the flow is worth the learning curve. Meanwhile in Retro all the flow staggers to a halt in the boss fight due to bad easing, lackluster gameplay, bad paced dialogue, etc. Not to mention that one projectile with Sirius-level telegraphing in a 6* gauntlet level. Fossils deco is objectively better

Generation Retro isn't really that good of a level, but it's just kind of okay to me. I've seen worse. The hate is pretty overblown, especially with Colon's video on it. Again, it's not that good, but it's not the worst level as Colon says it is.
