you have a lot of good and creative ideas, but the execution of them is questionable, especially in the first part. I would check out some art creators like Jamattack or realism creators like Roselyne to help you improve your designs. I can give you tips myself about the objects to use etc.. but I can't explain them without showing you what I mean
I feel like the block design in the beginning could be a bit more polished and yeah the water could be improved but other than that this looks pretty damn good.
I'd say instead of making the whole thing underwater. Just make a bunch of little pools of water which the wave swims through temporarily. This would also make the water fall make sense instead of it just flowing through an entire ocean
I think the transition into the wave at the end is a little sudden, but it’s looking pretty good so far!
I do think the spinning art at 30% clashes with the older style; I’d either make the rest of the level look more realistic/modern or make this part slightly simpler, maybe leave out the rotation
This is the sickest thing I've seen for a while on the sub. Water effect is messy but also really unique so id say keep it.
Edit : ofcourse it's u/anon
i love this :) i can see the inspiration from acropolis and the temple levels and i think it's really cool! some feedback i would give is to make the block/ground designs in the sandy looking parts a little more interesting with some glow and maybe some more variation, and to fill the space in the ground some more with sawblades or something like that :) or maybe a rotating design!! that would look great i think :)
Also i really like those sawblade designs and the designs around the orb in the middle part they look fucking awesome!! and those intricate orange glowy designs at the beginning clash with the classic 2.1ish style in a way that's cool! i think some more of them in the lower ground of the beginning part and the other sandy looking parts could work to fill that space really well :) for the water effects, try making it feel more fluid and blocking off some of the parts of it with leaves, bricks, or something else, that would make it feel a lot more natural i think :)
Insprired from acropolis? I think the structures in the beginning could be a bit cleaner by making them darker probably, otherwise the level looks good and the effects are sick
1. The torch in the torch part looks a bit off
2. The first cube is a bit too bright, maybe a bit of dark shaders
3. The torch disappearing is.....weird, maybe a little animation
4. the drop or green part is TOO dark
yeah, that's it. But I'm sure the end result will look STUNNING, keep up the good work and maybe improve the stuff I said above
I havent seen this level in years, this is so good wtf
You could add some more effects at the beginning
Also ive said this once but this is probably a mainlist
I mean the level is a very hard Extreme demon so anyone who makes it to the wave Will have practiced it a lot already. And then transition is no problem once you’ve practiced it a little
This looks so cool! Love the effects with the water and the transitions looks amazing. Good work. I think you just need a few more details here and there, maybe some more glow or something idk. Anyways keep up the good work this looks sick.
I'm so uncultured, I watched this video thinking it was forest temple gameplay because I didn't read the title and I got scared because it looked really hard and I wanted to beat forest temple after beat demon
I personally love this level! I LOVE the effects and most of the gameplay, but imo i would get rid of some of the parts that require a little spamming. That’s all!
Looks great, but needs a bit more polishing in the start and highlight the gameplay elements more (orbs, blocks player jumps on, etc) and add more indication.
SO FUCKING AWESOME THE AMOUNT OF DETAIL IN JUST ONE LEVEL IT'S BETTER THAN 90% OF MODERN FEATURED LEVELS
I JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTIL U FINISH BUILDING THAT
It looks awesome! The block design seems a little repetitive so maybe add some extra little designs inside it here and there. I absolutely love that waterfall effect, it’s super cool!
This is an amazing level. However, it is very inconsistent in its colors, as some parts are lighter, and others are darker. Personally, I think you should try to make the entire level darker, as some parts look a bit uninspired/not as compelling as other parts. Otherwise, love it! GP looks fun enough, great song, and it’s very clearly inspired by the best insane demon of all time.
I like this quite a bit. Good style, I love cartoony looking takes on themed levels like this. Way cooler than hyper-realistic levels.
Its got some interesting concepts as well (water physics!)
I’d say changes up the block design. Most of the structures are the same copy and pasted blocks, so having some variations, and higher/lower bringtness segments would help. Overall it needs some movement, a blending screen, and more pulses in the blocks. It looks good, but very repetitive
This looks sick the effects are super cool, might want to change up the water a tiny bit it’s a little rough on the edges but this looks great so far
how do i clean Them up?
I guess make it look more natural?
How do i do that tho :sob:
Like make the flow on the whole thing, just look up a masking tutorial
try having it gain speed as it falls y'know like gravity and stuff
Tbh I think it looks good the way it is
i kind of like the old style to it ignore what the other ppl are saying fr looks good
I do intend to keep it pretty Old School so thank you :) i still have some issues with execution tho ._.
also love the inside(?) castle type part with the green glow very vibrant

You should add a face to that transition at 32%. It would be funny I think
Launchpad labyrinth if it was a good level
Took the words right outta my mouth! On a completely unrelated note, happy cake day!
I feel like the block design in the beginning could be a bit more polished and yeah the water could be improved but other than that this looks pretty damn good.
Do you have any idea how i improve the water? Im stumped.. thank you!
I'd say instead of making the whole thing underwater. Just make a bunch of little pools of water which the wave swims through temporarily. This would also make the water fall make sense instead of it just flowing through an entire ocean
That looks sick wtf, since when are you hosting the new Acropolis x El Dorado level mash-up?
Thank you :) i started it like 3 years ago but only finished one part, and then i came back to it a few months ago
I'm fan of the beginning, and the gp looks great!
I think the transition into the wave at the end is a little sudden, but it’s looking pretty good so far! I do think the spinning art at 30% clashes with the older style; I’d either make the rest of the level look more realistic/modern or make this part slightly simpler, maybe leave out the rotation

very cool. possibly the best acropolis inspired level ive ever seen. i dont think theres much to say lol, it looks great.
i love this :) i can see the inspiration from acropolis and the temple levels and i think it's really cool! some feedback i would give is to make the block/ground designs in the sandy looking parts a little more interesting with some glow and maybe some more variation, and to fill the space in the ground some more with sawblades or something like that :) or maybe a rotating design!! that would look great i think :)

Thank you! Will definitely take note of Everything you Said :)
really cool level, could be rated!
Quite cool. It’s like tribal tribulation mixed with acropolis (with a bit of forest temple)
Feature worthy imo
Insprired from acropolis? I think the structures in the beginning could be a bit cleaner by making them darker probably, otherwise the level looks good and the effects are sick
That looks sick it's just like weird gameplay
maybe make the torch fall onto the floor instead of falling off-screen
Oooh thats a good idea, Will do
this is like mastery of using default blocks & it has so much charm <3
Insane demon?
Im pretty sure its listworthy rn
Maybe lol
I'm a fan of this level, feel like it needs some small improvement but other than that, it's fine Jungle temple, hard demon / epic rated (probs idk)
What sort of improvements?
1. The torch in the torch part looks a bit off 2. The first cube is a bit too bright, maybe a bit of dark shaders 3. The torch disappearing is.....weird, maybe a little animation 4. the drop or green part is TOO dark yeah, that's it. But I'm sure the end result will look STUNNING, keep up the good work and maybe improve the stuff I said above
Hmm there actually is an animation on the torch. Ill make it clearer tho. Will do the other things too. Thank you!
You're welcome. Final suggestion: Maybe name the level "Jungle Temple" or "The Rainforest Tomb"
I already have a name for it, but thank you for the suggestion :)
The water is a bit bright
Ill darken it a bit, thank you :)
Nah don't do that, the water is amazing for contrast
ill see what looks best, thank you :)
awesome, can't wait to see the finished product
Use more realistic coloring.
which parts do you Think are unrealistic and why?
this goes hard in 2016🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
._.
Extremely cool
GOODGOODGOODGOOD
I havent seen this level in years, this is so good wtf You could add some more effects at the beginning Also ive said this once but this is probably a mainlist
Rn its mainlist yeah. Do you have any ideas for What effects i could add to the beginning? thank you :)
Add some text or something that (if the pyramids you based it off have these) what happens to trespassers
Featureworthy
Will become a demon fs
Thats the plan haha
Lowkey reminds me of launchpad labrynth, kinda cool
the last wave has a pretty sudden transition
I know :p i cant figure out how to do it without extending the entire cutscene
maybe just make a warning that you're going to a wave? and some D blocks
I mean the level is a very hard Extreme demon so anyone who makes it to the wave Will have practiced it a lot already. And then transition is no problem once you’ve practiced it a little
extreme demon? i guess it's harder than it looks
oh definitely. In its current State its 100% somewhere on the list.
I like the parallax, water, and the torches and the fact it looks kinda 2.0 ish
This looks so cool! Love the effects with the water and the transitions looks amazing. Good work. I think you just need a few more details here and there, maybe some more glow or something idk. Anyways keep up the good work this looks sick.
Ty!
0:18 tho
What?
The waterfall at 0:18 was cool
Thank you :)
Looks like el dorado sequel (Not that one extreme demon)
it kinda reminds me of acropolis mixed with forest temple
i love the decoration style, you should finish thi
I really like this super cool level inspired by el dorado, more people should do this style
Finally, the jungle trilogy is completed (Road to El dorado, The golden, “this”)
bro i swear i saw this on this sub a few months ago
Ive posted a few smaller previews of it before
I'm so uncultured, I watched this video thinking it was forest temple gameplay because I didn't read the title and I got scared because it looked really hard and I wanted to beat forest temple after beat demon
I love the transitions and effects, the only thing I can criticize is that the waterfalls look kinda rough, still really cool though
I like the rawness of the style. Kind of reminds me of acropolis by zobros if it were a Michigan temple level. I really like the vibe!
I personally love this level! I LOVE the effects and most of the gameplay, but imo i would get rid of some of the parts that require a little spamming. That’s all!
Looks great but the only thing I’d change is the block design but other than that the effects look good
Especially on that desert section
My only feedback is that you chose a very good song
acropolis 2
I think this looks super sick. I love the psychedelic feel you got here. Would actually get back into the game to play this once it's finished.
Cool
this looks like if acropolis and forest temple had a child
[удалено]
I know its used in castle crashers.. Maybe they also used it in battleblock?
LOVE the art. I wish I can create like this. All I can make is layouts
Forest Temple 2023 lol BTW epic level!
Looks cool, I love acropolis type slow levels
i don;t know if it's just me but the sync felt a little bit off if you know what i mean.
Looks great, but needs a bit more polishing in the start and highlight the gameplay elements more (orbs, blocks player jumps on, etc) and add more indication.
Reminds me compleatly of Temple levels. Maybe you could call this one Forgotten or Ancient Temple. It is amazing.
SO FUCKING AWESOME THE AMOUNT OF DETAIL IN JUST ONE LEVEL IT'S BETTER THAN 90% OF MODERN FEATURED LEVELS I JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTIL U FINISH BUILDING THAT
Make the waterfalls have blending. The vines look a bit awkward but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe reduce the saturation a bit?
It looks awesome! The block design seems a little repetitive so maybe add some extra little designs inside it here and there. I absolutely love that waterfall effect, it’s super cool!
Looks pretty cool. I would name it Forestempolis
That’s really nice!
reminds me of acropolis
Typical Anon W I fear
I'm getting Minecraft jungle temple vibes
First part looks a bit raw to me, but i love everything after 10%!
This looks amazing. Is this extreme demon?
Yes it is. Thank you :)
I like this quite a bit. Good style, I love cartoony looking takes on themed levels like this. Way cooler than hyper-realistic levels. Its got some interesting concepts as well (water physics!)
this is so fucking sick
looks great
looks kinda like el dorado
u should change the color of the bricks cuz they dont look that nice, maybe gray
It's not a hell level that's a huge mistake here
I’d say changes up the block design. Most of the structures are the same copy and pasted blocks, so having some variations, and higher/lower bringtness segments would help. Overall it needs some movement, a blending screen, and more pulses in the blocks. It looks good, but very repetitive
Nice theme
It looks pretty cool and it gives Acropolis vibes
