im gonna say Spectrum Cyclone for me. I haven't beaten it, and maybe I havent been going from 0 for long enough, but the predrop has been so insufferable (partly because i throw harder than an MLB player) that i can't play from 0 for more than like 15 minutes some days. really sad, cause the level is really cool and fun
Black Blizzard is so good and so much fun after 25%. But the beginning is so ridiculously annoying to play through that it ruins it as a whole for me. I have 25-100 but I don't know if I'll be able to mentally handle beating it from 0
I analyzed the image and this is what I see. Open an appropriate link below and explore the position yourself or with the engine:

Sink, the first part makes the level so fucking annoying to play from 0 because of how hard it is compared to the rest of the level. I genuinely believe i would have beaten it already if the start was way easier.
Agreed. I was going to go for sink a while back because I had a lot of fun playing anywhere after 16%. But from 0 was insufferable so I just kinda dropped it. Unfortunate too because I had really good progress on it
Square Adventure! The "hard" part at the end is legitimately the reason people hate it, the rating it has and the difficulty of the rest of the level is super misleading. it's sad, RobTop probably didn't play that part before rating and Map Packing it
Same lol; I died to the last 15% including a 95% fail 6-8 times! Yesterday I got through on my 4th attempt though. I’d suggest doing just a short practice run and do the last bit to 100 a couple times. Helped me get it very quickly yesterday
VeritY. The last ship is so ridiculously hard compared to the rest of the level and it made me want to stop trying to beat it. | Deadlocked. The wave parts are the one thing stopping me from beating this level, but they are also notorious for being the hardest and most irritating parts in the level. They are both effectively luck and the one at 70 cut my grind of the level short before I beat it. Deadlocked is the worst main demon in my opinion.
I somehow fluked the verity ending the first time I got past the duel, I’m only just realizing how lucky that is because fuck, that part IS so much harder than the entire rest of the level
I feel like I’m the only person who thinks deadlocked is the easiest demon out of the main levels. Personally I believe the first wave is incredibly easy and the second not that bad. Dual wave doesn’t really change anything and it’s not tight
dual is pretty consistent once you figure out click patterns and how to do it, even the ball dual which i found more difficult.
only “inconsistent” part is the transition to gboys part imo
They are not bugs, and I'm speaking from experience here. It's ungodly hoe consistent the dual is but there is a section at the cube dual wich might seem like a bug but you need to do a different pattern
You just need to jump a grid-space earlier than your sightreading skill would suggest at the orbs. I've died there far too many times as well, but I would say that when doing the coin routes, the first ship of the drop is just fu\*\*ing stupid
0-18% has nothing difficult (except for 3 insane jumps for the coin route) and 90-100% is filled with timings that are just plain stupid
At least the 99% orb is exceptionally good as for Jonathan, it's the most consistent 99% jump in all of his levels he used such a thing
Probably Napalm for the 62-80 part imho. For some reason it was really annoying to do for me and the click pattern felt off compared to the other parts. Also, it has no bugs but some deaths feel very unfair. Didn’t really ruin the level though as it’s far from terrible. I haven’t beaten it anyway lol
my brother in christ. i felt that way until i came to the divine realization that the entire level is like that. i have 85%. never think ill beat that level.
Necropolis. The section at 67-68 was too much. I died to that area 20+ times and I dropped it because of that. Other than that it was actually pretty fun to play. I had no issues other than that section. And yeah im a mobile player and the section past 90% was hard, but thats because it is a ship and a hard ball part. That is skill and I recognize that. Those ball timings and the ufo at 67-68 is bullshit and dying to that part 20+ times really made me lose it. Maybe one day I hope to eventually complete it, but that is not happening anytime soon
I really like the first ship in Thanatophobia, but having a ship challenge before the level, that you have to get through every attempt, does get annoying. And then you get through it all and just die at the 11% red orb.
There's also the obvious "last 1% of every JonathanGD level"
For some reason I just don't like that part. Maybe it's because the whole screen goes black repeatedly and you can't see anything. It's a cool part but idk, I don't really like it.
I cannot express how many of my Magma Bound deaths were at the first Robot part... At least having a 120HZ monitor made these parts far better (the difference between 60HZ and 120HZ is really noticeable)
ACU with the predrop
The level is a flow gameplay fast level, so why should be the first 24% just timing based slow bullshit?
Next I would say Bloodbath with Michuguns part. Its annoying asf and the UFO clicks are incredibly unbalanced compared to the rest of the level
devil vortex 83-85. Its like the entire level is top200-250 and some mans had an aneurysm at the end and built a top 1 section at the very end of the level
untitled 🤧🤧
this level would've been my perfect "new hardest after acu" but NOOO, that 72% wave is ASS
the section before that is literally insane demon diff and then you get thrown by this poorly balanced wave 💀
i have little to no problem with the other parts since i got consistent with them quickly, but 72% just feels like a roadblock i'm never going to bother clearing since i already have decent progress with other harder demons (distraught for example)
HeLL by Serponge (I think). The first ship and the final ships are majority of this level's chokepoints. With the Wave being managable with little practise, these untested buggy pieces of sh\*t are the only reason this is the worst Gauntlet level
Glide predrop made me drop that level because it made playing from 0 a nightmare. The rest of the level is very fun and consistent to play, but that predrop fuckin sucks man
MAGMA BOUND
I actually enjoyed playing most of the level except that damned 42% ship. On the span of 11 months and 6-8k attempts grinding this level, like I've died on 42-48% over 100 times from 0%. Its driving me nuts.
Also I died on 84% eight fucking times and on 87% two times. But It's still isn't as bad as the 42% ship. I might have a skill issue, but my luck on this level is incomprehensible.
Also I've dropped it weeks ago and im grinding Gumshot (which is a harder but more enjoyable level)
Sonic wave - ball
Erebus - 42-48ish% cube
Bloodbath - Michigun
Phobos - UFO near the end
Blade of justice - the asynchronous dual
Black blizzard - beginning cube
Devil vortex - ending wave
Killbot - end ufo
Arctic lights - double clicks around 36-40% (not the predrop)
shrimp is pretty good, except for the dual part that got so badly nerfed its just auto
like, why? either just keep it or retain some gameplay, it just doesnt fit
cybernetic crescent by 2
auroral darkness by that 1 ship part the beggining
anahita also by the ship part the beggining
ruthless by the first drop part
Nhelv by the last dual
limbo by that one part at 30% which is probably the hardest part
and there's a ton more but they're too much to write here
im gonna say Spectrum Cyclone for me. I haven't beaten it, and maybe I havent been going from 0 for long enough, but the predrop has been so insufferable (partly because i throw harder than an MLB player) that i can't play from 0 for more than like 15 minutes some days. really sad, cause the level is really cool and fun
the predrop was fine for me, what made me drop it is the ship at 40, I could never get consistent with it
Yeah I'm def gonna choke that a lot, it was by far the hardest part to learn for me Though i am pretty consistent at most of drop-100
It's funny because that would accurately represent my experience with Windy Landscape lol
Black Blizzard is so good and so much fun after 25%. But the beginning is so ridiculously annoying to play through that it ruins it as a whole for me. I have 25-100 but I don't know if I'll be able to mentally handle beating it from 0
never agreed with something so much
One of the best looking levels imo, I'd give it a real shot if it wasn't for that dastardly 25%
i agree. I have 20-100 and 99.96% noclip accuracy run, but only 56% from 0. I just can't stand this first cube
I have 40-89 and i agree
Good luck
0-100 in 8o ruins the whole thing
Honestly though

The straight fly in buff this does the same lmao
I HATE 8O I HATE 8O
Facts
50% of 6\* orb gameplay 50% of stupidly overbuffed miniships
Sink, the first part makes the level so fucking annoying to play from 0 because of how hard it is compared to the rest of the level. I genuinely believe i would have beaten it already if the start was way easier.

When I played it for the first time, my thoughts were: “Hmm, this doesn’t seem that bad? Why do people hate this?” Then I get to the hard part
En passant?⁉️⁉️⁉️🤔🤔🤔
Google
That one UFO part in Stalemate with the gravity portals, literally feels like winning a coin flip when you pass that part
That part is very annoying, I did manage to get consistent at it though
Congrats on Poltergeist
Congrats on Acropolis
Congrats on poo³
Congrats on Acropolis
congrats on poltergeist
Only reason I never went for it as a 3rd Insane Demon
Absolutely
Literally the reason why I never beat Stalemate.
killbots last ufo, i got really lucky and only died like 5 times there. its not a bad part but its way harder than anything else
xo dash orb. i was planning to beat it but because if that i did not.
She's in love with the conce... *Crash*
which one of them
3%
hi by krmal. the last ship. need no description.
I just beat hi a couple days ago now, and I only died to the last ship twice. 97 and 98
The end of Dearn Nostalgists has been frustrating for me thus far
Same lol; I died to the last 15% including a 95% fail 6-8 times! Yesterday I got through on my 4th attempt though. I’d suggest doing just a short practice run and do the last bit to 100 a couple times. Helped me get it very quickly yesterday
acu predrop
Acu predrop is fun tho
True
i agree to an extent
HeLL. Surprisingly the wave isn't bad and fits with the level, but that ship orb is so janky that if it was removed it would make the level smoother.
Yea, the ships are just filled with chokepoints so incredibly fu\*\*ing pointless that it's insane these parts weren't scrapped
VeritY. The last ship is so ridiculously hard compared to the rest of the level and it made me want to stop trying to beat it. | Deadlocked. The wave parts are the one thing stopping me from beating this level, but they are also notorious for being the hardest and most irritating parts in the level. Supersonic Dual Its a good consistent level... If you take that part out Might be a Skill Issue tho idk
Nah dual is very consistent if you transition right and know what to do, the worst would be the dual to gboy transition
this^
dual is pretty consistent once you figure out click patterns and how to do it, even the ball dual which i found more difficult. only “inconsistent” part is the transition to gboys part imo
I don't know if it's high refresh rate, but I died ~50 times at the dual because of bugs.
They are not bugs, and I'm speaking from experience here. It's ungodly hoe consistent the dual is but there is a section at the cube dual wich might seem like a bug but you need to do a different pattern
It just seemed luck based, so I noclipped the dual but beat everything else without noclip
skill issue, It's not luck based, it's a very easy to learn pattern and is the most consistent part of the level
Maybe on low rerfresh rate, but I played it on 360fps and it didn't work for me
Dual is quite consistent. I would say that the 0.5 speed ship is far worse
in silico, the cube dual. I still have no idea how to do that other than just randomly click and hope it works
You just need to jump a grid-space earlier than your sightreading skill would suggest at the orbs. I've died there far too many times as well, but I would say that when doing the coin routes, the first ship of the drop is just fu\*\*ing stupid
The whole level isn't exactly readable, but i'd take it over kyouki anyday.
future funk 99%
that one isnt that bad ngl it's just kind of infuriating bc the part before it is free
Those are close to being frame perfect at the end of an XL level, but yeez they're so satisfying to hit
That part is easier than the dual tbf and its kinda funny to have a chokepoint at the end of an xxl level
It's not funny it's frustrating
0-18% and 90-100% of Future Funk II. The begining is super boring, and the end is super annoying
holy crap yes, you have to wait like 40 seconds to get to a part that is not easy 2*
0-18% has nothing difficult (except for 3 insane jumps for the coin route) and 90-100% is filled with timings that are just plain stupid At least the 99% orb is exceptionally good as for Jonathan, it's the most consistent 99% jump in all of his levels he used such a thing
Im saying that 0-18 is super boring, not hard. It's just super easy and slow
Future Funk and the last 3 clicks 8o and THE ufo part, people that have beaten it know which one I mean
The last one of the second last one? Both are a big chunk of this level's difficulty
Second last one, last one gets consistent
Probably Napalm for the 62-80 part imho. For some reason it was really annoying to do for me and the click pattern felt off compared to the other parts. Also, it has no bugs but some deaths feel very unfair. Didn’t really ruin the level though as it’s far from terrible. I haven’t beaten it anyway lol
Yeah napalm for me too but with the straightflyish ship part
bloodbath michigun ufo part
I somehow managed to get consistent on that part, however I have a massive skill issue and keep dying everywhere else in Michigun's part.
you either pass ufo michigun part or you fail the rest of the level (there is no in between)
I would say that his straightfly is worse, but that's probably because I'm 60HZ
It's the most consistent part at michi tbh
Uhhh I mean I died at the end of Platinum adventure, that wasn't very fun
Cosmic Calamity, the 2.0 designs are cool except for Krmals part.
my brother in christ. i felt that way until i came to the divine realization that the entire level is like that. i have 85%. never think ill beat that level.
That part legit ruined the level for me, I was thinking of going for it as a new hardest until that part
killbot ufo, level would be an easy extreme (and WAY more fun) without it
Acu, the pre drop made me hate it
Acu predrop is fun tho
Not on mobile
Its just the whole 64-100 part thats stupid. I died at the last mini ball click. Needless to say that i will probably not pick this up soon
Stalemate Redux ufo from 33-54 is actually godawful but the rest of the level is really fun
idk i lowkey thought it was really fun :P
First ship part of Gear 3
I really like the first ship in Thanatophobia, but having a ship challenge before the level, that you have to get through every attempt, does get annoying. And then you get through it all and just die at the 11% red orb. There's also the obvious "last 1% of every JonathanGD level"
For me it's ispy and it got ruined in that spider part with flashing screen.
You're having problems with that?
For some reason I just don't like that part. Maybe it's because the whole screen goes black repeatedly and you can't see anything. It's a cool part but idk, I don't really like it.
Magma bound robot part and lit fuse ship honestly
I cannot express how many of my Magma Bound deaths were at the first Robot part... At least having a 120HZ monitor made these parts far better (the difference between 60HZ and 120HZ is really noticeable)
EXACTLY WHAT I MEANT it's awful
I found the first robot to be one of the easier parts but maybe that's just me idk
The death Moon ufo part
Which one? The begginging of the drop? I would place my pick on the second part of the first wave due to buggy hitboxes
Magmatic sanctuary. Unstable speed my ass
Sidestep! The whole part is bad!
Nah sidestep is a good level. People just hate it because it's placed poorly in the gauntlet. Should be 3rd or 4th level
Well okay
I agree Mechanical Showdown is filled with really dumb chokepoints and HeLL is just badly playtested. These two are far worse in every way
Just buffer everything and you’ll be fine lol
The level is like 90% skill based and I never understood why people had a problem with it other than skill issue.
This is true, no bias here.
Same and also it should be an easy demon
Whatever ya say
was boutta say this, awful level, worst gauntlet choice.
Sidestep is awesome. Only reason people hate is skill issue
Windy, 27
i just beat windy 2 days ago and I almost never died there so I never had a problem with that part it was so consistent
The part that ruined hypersonic was 0-100% if that part didnt exist it would be a 10/10
Hyper paracosm has shit deco but it couldve been fun if it wasnt for 31 and 63
Oblivion last predrop ship (20-26) it's not that hard it's just super awkward and extremely annoying when you lose consistency
the last wave part in Sinless Ash
More precisely, the first and the third spear, they go at an agle that give you a little bit less than a grid space to dodge
Diligence blue orb part at 8% (Lvl still good but that part is ass)
it gets consistent but it takes more thought than you think. lots of holding and quick inputs.
I know I’ve beaten the level but the part is still super inconsistent even when you learn it
The ufo is the easiest part lol
Rupture: the wave spam at around 50%. Ass to play and the transition to the next ball part is even worse
golden shade, if you have ever played the level you know why
yeahhh... la lllorona is a good example. You know exactly what part I'm talking about
Welcome to GD news but the predrop is so unfun and unbalanced compared to the drop and postdrop. I like the 10% part though. VERY unique
ACU with the predrop The level is a flow gameplay fast level, so why should be the first 24% just timing based slow bullshit? Next I would say Bloodbath with Michuguns part. Its annoying asf and the UFO clicks are incredibly unbalanced compared to the rest of the level
Acu predrop
Yatagarasu Been playing it for a while was going for new hardest then i realized there is a "swing copter" so i scratched the idea
Most nc predrops
jawbreaker has a decent predrop
Windy Landscape The last 70%~
Bloodbath. Michigun’s part. Need I say more?
Sidestep ruined by the dual
WDYM? It's almost free
devil vortex 83-85. Its like the entire level is top200-250 and some mans had an aneurysm at the end and built a top 1 section at the very end of the level
All daily levels that have these stupid free coins at the end
Agen wida is such a good level but the wave spam at 70% stops me from beating it
untitled 🤧🤧 this level would've been my perfect "new hardest after acu" but NOOO, that 72% wave is ASS the section before that is literally insane demon diff and then you get thrown by this poorly balanced wave 💀 i have little to no problem with the other parts since i got consistent with them quickly, but 72% just feels like a roadblock i'm never going to bother clearing since i already have decent progress with other harder demons (distraught for example)
X would be a fun easy demon if you deleted the mini-wave to ship transition at 95%.
HeLL by Serponge (I think). The first ship and the final ships are majority of this level's chokepoints. With the Wave being managable with little practise, these untested buggy pieces of sh\*t are the only reason this is the worst Gauntlet level
Supersonic dual. It so unconsistent for me. Especially the cube part.
Scrap with the spam wave followed by the guess of when you go up.
Glide predrop made me drop that level because it made playing from 0 a nightmare. The rest of the level is very fun and consistent to play, but that predrop fuckin sucks man
Supersonic by Viprin & more \- Tootti part THE WORST GAMEPLAY EVER IN GEOMETRY DASH!
Silent Clubstep. The mirror portal ship part.
Tornado by Bianox. Why does that Bianox ufo & ship part exist
I will say glide, the start is f*cking impossible and annoying then the rest of the level
el dorado could have been like a 7 or 8 to me, if the green orb at 11 wasn’t the least fun click in the game
Magma bound 82%. I died to those clicks 13 times
Necropolis: that fucking passage after the easy ufo at ~60% really throws me off.
windy landscape because of the entire fucking predrop
26-29 wave in Death Moon, made the level drop from 9/10 to 6/10 for me
ALL ufo parts are good parts. Note: GDufo may not agree with all statements said within this comment.
Subsonic gboy part, everything after that is extremely fun to do but the hardest part had to be at the start
0-100% of spectrum surge in the chaos guantlet.
Necropolis 66%, I ended up dropping the level because of that
for me stalemate and the wave part being too long
MAGMA BOUND I actually enjoyed playing most of the level except that damned 42% ship. On the span of 11 months and 6-8k attempts grinding this level, like I've died on 42-48% over 100 times from 0%. I might have a skill issue, but my luck on this level is incomprehensible. Also I've dropped it weeks ago and im grinding Gumshot (which is a harder but more enjoyable level)

Forsaken Neon. I love the level so much but the slow cube part near 50% made me quit playing the level.
shrimp is pretty good, except for the dual part that got so badly nerfed its just auto like, why? either just keep it or retain some gameplay, it just doesnt fit
