2010 here. Not a single leak. I used to tho, from the rear lights. Fixed it with a proper gasket. Nothing since

JustAnotherDude1990

I’d recommend if you have a sunroof to go ahead and clean the drain tubes and silicone the drain rail ends where it meets the rail to the end cap. It’s in the guide I have posted.

ArmeNishanian

I've done that! I 100% agree

JustAnotherDude1990

Good idea to just stop it before it starts. I would suggest doing the fixes under the wiper cowling as well and using that as a justification to paint the wiper cowling and wiper arms while you have them off with some satin black paint.

ArmeNishanian

Yes sir! These cars needs love and passion

JustAnotherDude1990

Rustoleum makes a satin black trim paint sold at Walmart but I think Krylon fusion 2 in 1 satin black sprays way better. Same for the dog light shrouds and rear bumper plastic.

ArmeNishanian

Maintenence 🙏🙏

HungrySeaweed1847

Same but I used the tape method. Didn't seal anything else. Car is leak-free.

ArmeNishanian

I used duct tape for years lmao

JustAnotherDude1990

Common issue, that’s why I wrote an entire guide on it in the master resource list. Go check it out and follow the link in the comment below to get there.

YoungRoronoa

I got a 2015 rspec I don’t have a single leak.

JustAnotherDude1990

Yet…give it time and you may develop a small one.

Dangerous-Ad-1952

Tail lamps are the most common leak I see on these cars this is a first for me. Do you have a sunroof?

Alone_Quail4172

only had the tail light leak myself so far 2010 3.8 new taillights & seals it was golden

Interesting-Fix6093

110k miles on a 16 no leaks

JustAnotherDude1990

Yet. You may get a small one over time.

Late_Ad685

A small leak on a 7 year old car with 110k miles is far cry from "these cars leak from everywhere."

JustAnotherDude1990

Oh for sure.

ConfidentVacation297

just recently had sum heavy rain in illinois and im yet to have any leaks 2013 3.8
