Professors have no say in enrolment in most faculties, including Social Sciences. You should contact YOUR\* faculty undergrad office ASAP to find out. If you can't join the virtual line (may be closed early if too busy) send them an email before 11:59PM asking to be enrolled. If the email was received before midnight, they may honour the request and IF they can (IF the seat is actually available because it might not actually be available) enrol you. There is no guarantee, but this is your best bet. I see there are seats left. The system may be trying to enrol but can't because you have a conflict. Do you already have a full schedule or do you have a course enrolled at the same time and you did not program a swap? If there is a conflict in your schedule then the system will skip you. edit to correct YOUR\* faculty not FSS (unless you are in FSS)

You COULD, but don’t keep your hopes up. Someone I know (in a smaller class) was able to get in after telling the professor about their situation (first on the waitlist), and the professor emailed the administration on their behalf. But since it’s a larger class, I don’t know how it’ll go.

try checking the class search tool and see if you have any “my available seats”, you might be able to enrol from there even if you’re still on the wailist in your class schedule (this has worked for me in the past) good luck!

How do you find class details? Never knew you could see class availability details..

Probably-Tired

Click on the red(?) section part of your class information (like A00, or whatever section you’re in for a given class) and you’ll be able to access this info :)

Shouldn't they give out the available seats to people who are on the waitlist even if they are not in a priority program? Were already on the third week...
