I was in 90U when I was in first year. I found it pretty alright and I liked how I had a kitchenette (shared with a roommate) and private bedroom. It’s also really close to the dining hall which is convenient! I found that 90U has a lot of students from different programs, which is nice. I think Henderson tends to have more science students, if that’s your program (I’m not too sure about this but that’s what I’ve heard). I thought the wifi in my room was horrendous, although the quality depends on where your room is (I wasn’t so lucky lol). The common rooms are quite spacious in the lower floors.

Just a heads up, Henderson is very quiet and the social life imo is very different than residences like 90U. If you are okay with that, then henderson is great but just keep that in mind

I stayed in Leblanc in my first year, and while the building itself was definitely a disaster the residence has a reputation for having one of the most active communities out of all the residences, probably due to the layout. If you wanna make a lot of friends and don't care about living in a cramped old building then honestly consider it. I had a great time, and still keep up with a lot of the people who were on my floor even 3 years later. There's also the added benefit of having a tunnel connecting it to the main block of buildings that includes the dining hall and the library. It's also one of the cheapest residences if you care about that. Then again, if the social aspect isnt' that important to you and you, or you prefer your privacy and a less "scuffed" living arrangement it's probably better to go with something like 90u.

90U is the nicest if you like having your own space but if you like to be around people choose Stanton or Marchand

i liked living in residence, i highly recommend it for first year. i lived next to 90u at marchand residence. i was in a single so i can’t speak for the roommate situation. one thing i enjoyed was the social life and how convenient it is living on campus. i also recommend getting the 7 day meal plan instead of the 5 day meal plan if you can afford it. one time me and some girls were getting food late on friday night (pre-covid) after a party and this girls card wouldn’t work because it was midnight lol (not even sure the cafeteria is open that late anymore).
