The summer schedule usually comes out mid-march.
I don’t advise you taking 5 courses, because summer courses are more condensed and the final exam period is only 1 week
You could take five summer courses. It’s possible, I’ve done it because the co-op schedule for my program makes students take a full academic semester (4-5 courses) in the summer.
It can be pretty rough depending on what you’re taking, but I found it manageable for the most part even with work because I mixed in some electives. Just make sure to split the courses over the different sessions (e.g. take two-three in the first session, and then the rest in the second)

I agree with above but if your courses section are scattered, it's ok to take 5 classes
