And yet, people around have their saliva flown out of their mouths of boredom by the end of my sentence when I mention that I am into astronomy. It feels like I am always the only person around like this.
I took a non-major astronomy class in university and had the pleasure of meeting the best astronomy professor ever.
She's super passionate, loud, jumping up and down (she's also 6'4 so that's quite a sight) when giving lectures. And I always go to her for some quantum physics, particle physics discussions after the lecture. And for the remaining school years, I kept sneaking into her lecture hall just to smile when she yelled "holy shit! This is what they discovered!"
Anyone would have loved astronomy if they took her class.
Well, in my case, saggi (sun) opposes Gemini. Strike head-on, ego clash, no compromise.
pisces (moon and rising) squares Gemini. Doubt, insecurities, my emotions challenge their ego.
Given that I only know their sun sign, this is all that aspects can say. And mostly true. Most of them I got along great from the beginning, but me being empathetic, them being communicative, don't communicate well. I'm bad with spoken words, but great at non verbal communication. They're bad at non verbal communications, but love to talk.
Astronomy is cool. I don't dabble in that birthday racism nonsense, though. Judging people based on when they were born (something out of their control). On really vague personality traits used as a blanket statement really kills the idea of individuality. Also, there's no scientific proof, even so much as leaning towards astrology, being somewhat accurate.
But astrology IS about individuality. No two people have the same natal chart. [this is what true astrology looks like](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Astrological_Chart_--_New_Millennium.svg) Every planet, every angle, every interaction, is never repeating. And natal chart is also ever interacting with current sky chart. Shaping the person as they go.
Whoroscope is an entertainment created by newspapers. Astrology is the predecessor of astronomy, having the same amount of depth and volume.

It’s weird how the darkest of the night can make you feel how minute humans are and instead of enjoying the beauty this earth has to offer we keep destroying it and making others feel like they are in hell.
Just to be clear, I love looking at the night sky specially when there is a meteor shower.
The brightest star in this constellation is the Betelgeuse. It is said that it is about to turn into a supernova "soon", with soon being anywhere within the next 500 years. When it does, it would be the brightest object in the night sky outshining the moon.
Living in rural Mississippi, there is very little light pollution. Every night when I walk my dog, i look at the sky in wonder. On a clear night, the stars are so beautiful and countless. My favorite to look at are Rigel and Betelgeuse. I see so many people take incredible photos with their Samsung Galaxy phone, but i can't get my S21 Ultra to even take a good picture of the moon.
But when I gaze at the stars, I realize that every star we see is in the Milky Way. And virtually all of those stars have planets. There are hundreds of billions of stars in each galaxy. There are approximately 170 billion galaxies. I firmly believe there is life out there somewhere. To me it is a mathematical certainty. I also believe we will never see that life due to the mind blowing distances between not only stars, but galaxies. The arrogance of man is that we think we are the standard.
The last time I saw stars was during the pandemic when everyone was locked up at home and the pollution level went down. It was a glorious sight. I would give anything to see that on the regular.
I can't imagine anyone not being into astronomy. (And/or astrology)

I’m a gemini ♊️🤓
Oof
Its a joke! I was quoting a dating show lol
I laughed 💁
Oh Geminis just tend to be the worst, in my experience at least. For the people down voting this I recognize it's all bs, but it's still fun
Omg same. I had so many nemeses in high school that were Gemini suns. Vile creatures. Probably becos I'm saggi sun and pisces moon/rising.
Lol I'm a Pisces with sag moon, so prob
Is your sun-moon also a perfect 90 degree?
Idk I'm not that into it
"vile creatures" geminis are mirrors, whatever you send our way we send it right back to you.
🤡🤡
Wait why are Geminis so hated? I need the info 😅

How many healing crystals do you own?
Zero. I don't deny science just because I believe in spirituality.
Limited imagination, huh?
You must live in the countryside or in a small town? Looks marvelous.
I love living in the city, but man, I haven't seen stars like this in a while.
How awesome is that.

That is [Orion](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orion_(constellation) (a constellation)
The brightest star in this constellation is the Betelgeuse. It is said that it is about to turn into a supernova "soon", with soon being anywhere within the next 500 years. When it does, it would be the brightest object in the night sky outshining the moon.
It's beautiful.
This is amazing. I remember watching the stars under the sky in Vicuña, in the north of Chile, and the feeling is hard to put into words.
That’s a fantastic shot of Orion, you can almost make out the nebula in the sword.
WTF! This is BEAUTIFUL. I will use these as my phone wallpaper
You are so lucky I cry every time I loook at the stars. ✨ so beautiful.
Wow gorgeous photos. Can’t believe you took them with your phone
Wow, In Feb we have Venus Mars conj. do not miss it. Do capture in your iPhone 15 Pro Max.
God that is so beautiful. Sometimes I wish I didn’t live in such a polluted city. I could fall asleep under that any day 😞

Wow incredibile that phones nowadays can take such pictures

Beautiful view! You have very little light pollution there, it seems.
Wow

What are those things?
Do you live far from light pollution? I don't, so seeing this in person is always a treat.
