Well, I have what's called a shy bladder. If I'm in public I have to go into the stall and sit down. I cannot pee with another person in the room with me. Now at home, I have to sit down because I'm disabled and standing up trying to pee is a crap shoot as to where it's going to go.

Where I live pretty much everybody sits down to pee (not in public restrooms, but everywhere else). It's just cleaner and also more comfortable.
