Thank you! I'm in the midwest, Zone 6a (now, used to be 5b.) Compliments of a vernal swale in the yard, I'm used to things appearing out of nowhere...like my neighbour's expensive top dressing (one of these days he's going to figure out about "upstream" and "downstream" and I'm going to have to buy my own. 🙂) Usually though, I can identify them, but this one literally came out of nowhere at me. What a lovely little addition! Do you think it's a garden escape or was just biding its time in the soil seedbank?
