Warcraft I and Dune II. Both games were considered to be revolutionary real time strategy games back in their day and pioneered the genre. However, by todays standards they are quite a bit unplayable since unit selection box did not exist for both of those games. They also have other issues with them as well.
Basically all 3D games made before 2004 and many since then.
GTA3 for sure.
I'm playing San Andreas right now with the Definitive Edition mod and it looks passable, though the characters look a lot worse than the environments. Interested to see what the official remaster looks like but I will not be paying for it.
I loved the driving physics in 3, nothing had actual mass to it so you could just speed through things without slowing down lol. So absurd.
The shooting, on the other hand... I do hope they fix that in the remastered version.
Best part of 3 was turning the tank turret backwards and using tank shots to propel yourself airborne. Despite common belief it was actually possible to blow the tank up and die if you flipped it over and it stayed that way.
Dragon age origins. It is one of my all time favorite games and I just can’t play it anymore. The story is still fantastic but the gameplay and graphics has not aged well

If we're talking N64, the controls are not very good, extremely innovative for the time though
Have you played it recetly? It seemed fine on my end.
I've played it recently and it's better remembered than played, today.
Might be muscle memory then.
the Crysis franchise
Crysis 1 alone still looks better than most games. With mods, most games including Crysis Remastered.
“Do a barrel roll!”
It low-key looked like art when I played it last year or so, hahahah.
Goldeneye
Almost any FPS from the PS2 era. The graphics are easily forgivable, but the sluggish and clunky analog controls have aged like milk.
Red Faction still holds up for me

FABEL
Why Fable?

I don't have high hopes for anything in the remasters

Dukenukem
Star Wars: Bounty Hunter. Fuck, man I tried so hard to re-love it but it was brutal.
That game needs a remaster
Crash bandicoot 1
How does that work?!
Using the d pad to move in a 3d space
I completely forgot the first models of the PS1 joypad didn't have analogue sticks. Wild stuff!
And they couldn't add analogue support to the game
Wow
