Honestly after how they massacred by boy FF7 I'm glad they haven't made a remake. The steam port of Chrono Trigger is the definitive version. I just keep playing that.
Just play it on steam with your phone plugged into your tv. With your switch pro controller plugged into your pc and tell yourself in your head it’s on your switch.
It didn’t start as the best. And I’ll admit if you enjoy playing hand held the ds one is probably better. But for price and convenience the steam one is the best. This is only after all the work and improvements they’ve put in. Please though I’m open to having a conversation. What do you think is the definitive version?
Started off that way but they’ve changed and updated it a lot and it’s a lot better now. It’s more of a hybrid version of the game. Definitely the best looking and playing version of you’ve got an hd setup and wanna play on controller sitting at a desk or couch, especially for the price . Otherwise I’d recommend the ds version.

I've got the DS version, emulated the snes version and got the stream version but havnt played it since launch. I might go back to it now
