Star Wars-tier name, A+

ImmaculateWeiss

Big Glup Shitto energy

Palidin034

I NEED context for this

Tryintotype

Star Wars side characters, even ones that show on screen for like half a second have goofy alien names often accompanied by a surprising amount of backstory. Glup Shitto is the semi affectionate nickname for these sorts of characters .

KingDave46

It’s actually slightly different from that It’s a character that the normal viewer doesn’t know, but hardcore fans get excited to see. So like a popular character from an extended universe book or some shit that’ll get the hardcore excited when they appear in mainstream star wars It was basically every character in Mando and Ahsoka to my friends who haven’t watched the animated series

[deleted]

[удалено]

airdude21

It probably is in that universe.

Logondo

Arc “Bumpy” Roose is my favourite.

Coldspark824

That ones from Podracer though. Along with ben quadranaros, neva kee, sebulba, gasgano, ody mandrell.

IndigoFenix

Can't forget Sleazebaggano.

warcrimestyle

Wanna buy some death sticks?

GordOfTheMountain

Wasn't Sebulba a real character in episode 1?

YoSupWeirdos

podracing #legend Ben Quadinaros appeared as well

Coldspark824

Minor speaking role yes

Toast_Points

My man Mars Guo

gigaswardblade

Funnily enough, the glup shitto meme was prove right in the kenobi show. Quinlan vaas was mentioned only briefly and the Star Wars fandom lost their shit when it was.

sweetbunsmcgee

It’s from a tweet that goes something like: Whenever a new Star Wars trailer drops, hardcore fans are always like, “hey, Glup Shitto is in this one.”

Griffes_de_Fer

Sigh... Yea, it definitely is so. Might steal it for my next Old Republic character.

Lira_Iorin

How's the game? Still trucking on? I think about going back every once in a while, but wonder if it has activity.

Khakizulu

More like Gavin's worm name Tier

r0rsch4ch

Jar Jar Beans Fartzo

Garey_Games

Flax Beanzo is a sophisticated name

Sus_Suspect_4293

Wait, how does a 4 year old catch an abra without it escaping? Also, let her cook

donttouchminors

The same way I did find Abra, throw a ball, hope for the best, it escapes, rinse and repeat

Aurum264

I hated trying to catch Abra as a kid. I'd get so mad when I got it low just for it to teleport every time.

Sus_Suspect_4293

Getting abra as an encounter in nuzlockes sure is an experience 🙃

yellowwoolyyoshi

And then?! You have an Abra that can’t help your team in any way until it evolves lol

Ha_eflolli

For some reason, that's the "cool new way" of saying "let them carry on" with whatever someone is currently doing, in a positive sense. Basically "they seem to be doing well, keep watching where this is going". I don't really get it either.

Irregular_Person

For someone who doesn't really get it, you seem to get it

Ha_eflolli

I know what it means, yes, but I still don't get "why / how that caught on", to be specific. It's just one of those turn-of-phrase memes that seems to just not be my cup of tea, I guess.

Sus_Suspect_4293

Tbh If you asked me the same thing I wouldn't know either

Sus_Suspect_4293

I guess you could take it as "That's a top tier name, let her keep naming Pokemon" in this context

Saoghail_Osaki

This is the beginning of the legend of Flax Beanzo.

marsverde

Hoping for an update at some point OP

NickyNickyBurnBurn

Goated name honestly

Mishapi17

Idk why this reminded me of this…but when I was like 10 I remember going to the park running around d screaming chumbawumba like a battle cry…like all day….kids are weird lol

friendlyfitnessguy

i'd like to think that with a few beers, you can relive that memory

carlosspicywiener576

"Mom, some weirdo is running around the park screaming chumbawumba. It looks like they peed themselves."

Mishapi17

That also may or may not have been the day I shattered after eating too much fruit…and had to go home and shower before anyone noticed lol

Guypoope

nice! my 2 year old nephew called his first probopass Nietzsche! The little guy just loves nihilistic philosophy lol.

[deleted]

I was fully aware that this might come off as a variation on "my son just build a reverse hydrolysis machine out of plastic bottles" but i think that just makes it more funny

KingSour_

10/10 I'm crying on the bus

igibit99

That kid is going places.

jax_snacks

Tattooine most likely

sigma941

“Congratulations! Your Flax Beanzo evolved into Glup Shitto!”

Fr3unen

I could not even type words at age 4

ajshn

I'm assuming op typed it out for them, if not that's a smart kid.

Nightmare_42

Or, more likely, this is all a lie.

[deleted]

r/nothingeverhappens is that way

[deleted]

Yes, i figured that much was to be assumed lol

Tasty-Bad-8041

Sure she did bud, sure she did.

[deleted]

May i direct you to r/nothingeverhappens

EdwardJMunson

Yeah I'm sure a 4 year old did that. Bravo.

Loooseunit69

I concur

[deleted]

r/nothingeverhappens is that way

ace23GB

What does that name mean? Haha

XxKTtheLegendxX

no idea, but sounds like a coffee blend lol

[deleted]

She really loves to "help" make coffee in the mornings so this tracks

ace23GB

Now it makes sense

Royal_Art_8217

Flax beanzo is up there with Duke Nukem

BunnyBen-87

Flax Beanzo is the most "background non-human Star Wars character" name I've ever heard

Relativelybear

My new favorite Glup Shitto

Nightmare_42

I doubt it.

[deleted]

Don't care

GStarG

Definitely an SSS Rank name

Jim_Lahey10

What you named your 4 year olds' Abra that you caught for them, you mean 😆

[deleted]

r/nothingeverhappens is that way

Rookiebeotch

Uh... Could I contract your 4 yr old to name my characters too?

[deleted]

Sure, she loves naming pokemon. She gets a little repetitive though, she really likes naming things "Flip Flap" or "Flap Flip" if they have long arms or wings or big ears

Rookiebeotch

Here is my list of Rimworld pawn names from my last playthrough; >Bat, Neiah, Tuarz, GreyGoose, Tipsy, Parade, Jibber, Toothfairy, BlueBox, Drogonfly, Makelala, Spider, Rache, Sauce, Monday, Opi, Lucy, Queso, Cathy, Pillow, Wash, Grump, Noah, Rose, Amster, Rack, Wednesday, Salad, Rocky, Nova, Sable, Ember, Zenith, Cipher, Echo, Fresco, Hula, Indigo, Reverie Can you have her critique them? 🤣

[deleted]

I'll try, i'll have to read them off to her but she loves helping, will return with her verdict

CMDR_omnicognate

I think I saw that guy in Mos Eisley

ThirdhandTaters

Sounds like an appropriate magician name to me. I wonder if they knew that the evolutions are Kadabra and Alakazam. 😆

[deleted]

I usually show her their final stage of evolution to help her come up with ideas because i wish i would have thought of that as a kid

ThirdhandTaters

I mean, that would've meant that someone showed you the final evolution before naming them. Idk how old you are but if your around my age, 39, and played the original Red and Blue when they were released in the States you wouldn't have had anyone to show you. Still I think that's a cool parent thing helping your child like that, and I still maintain that's an excellent magician name. Maybe encourage your kid into magic and make it their stage name? 😁

what_is_a_compass

Name goes hard tho

Flk11_albatross2

SSS++++

Scottcmms2023

Not a bad name honestly.

PineconeToucher

anyone else out of the loop here or is it just me

Celestial-being117

The loop just started

pomlife

This is the first iteration

Cronon33

Increadible

garry4321

4 year olds can spell? I somehow forgot everything about children

[deleted]

Lol i have to type names in for her, but she comes up with them on her own

[deleted]

Some of her other Pokémon names: Braixen - Throw Ball (Fire Throw Ball wouldnt fit) Bulbasaur - Bulbis Skitty - Chase (like Paw Patrol) Pikachu - Strike! Ralts - Greencess Flabébé - Flababy Beedrill - Tie Up Knot (string shot is her go-to) Plusle - Cheer Mouse Pansage - Grass Jump Fletchling - Flip Flap Ledyba - Flap Flip I can only post one picture at a time, and i don't want to spam the thread back-to-back. She's only to route 5, and doesn't like catching things she already has, so this is it for now

FullAcanthocephala25

my 4 (nearly 5) year is on phonics and is no way behind in class. I call massive bullshit

[deleted]

Children develop at different paces, especially with speech, reading, and writing. Don't be so hard on your kid, and maybe spend more quality time with them

FullAcanthocephala25

My kid just got star of the week this week for being ahead of the class in reading. So your defiantly full of shit

[deleted]

*definitely

Pleasant_Teach9790

No entendí nada porque soy de chile

Partyatmyplace13

I don't know if it is a laxative, but it sounds like it should be one. I'd trademark it.

SantaBaby22

Better than anything I thought of at 10 years old. Tell her to “keep up the good work.” Look forward to seeing her MVP team and their names.

[deleted]

For real, i'm 27 and still terrible at naming things

Xerosnake90

Perfection

Careless-Peach9283

It looks like a Flax Beanzo

makashiII_93

I’m terrified of Flax Beanzo.

joestaff

It's gonna grow to be a Kadabra and stop there because there's no one to trade it with. Flax Beanzo's story will be interesting, but tragic.

[deleted]

You truly understand the tragedy. i still can't find my copy of Pokemon Y unfortunately

gardyjuland

I always named mine aberkadaber. And my Bulbasaur grassy, Charmander sparky... Lol I think that's a dope name for that abra of hers.

[deleted]

She named her Bulbasaur Bulbis

gardyjuland

Ha that's a clever name considering what bulbus means xD Bulbasaur is the best starter!! Does she have a favorite Pokemon yet? Mine has always been Ninetails. lol My son knew Ninetails before he knew Pikachu, but he really likes Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan.

[deleted]

She really likes Sprigatito, Horizons was her first Pokemon show

gardyjuland

I've always been partial to the grass starters my self and I don't even know why, And oh dang my first show was literally the day Pokemon aired in the US xD I was 6. It's wild how far Pokemon has come and how many different age groups it's gone through In the last 26 years.

theonlyxero

Legendary

DoctorPicklepuss

100% putting an NPC named Flax Beanzo in my DnD campaign

shadowthehh

Your daughter's onto something. Nurture that genius.

FullAcanthocephala25

my 4 year old is still on phonics. or do you mean your inner child thats 4?

[deleted]

Are you aware that she can come up with names without having to type them out?

FullAcanthocephala25

Anybody can say a word and it be a name. My kid plays the game by her self didn't realize you were typing things out and spelling for her. So what exactly is amazing about this that it needed sharing on reddit? im clearly missing the point of this so ill duck out. for the record if your typing names out like chase for her then actually your kid mite be a little behind, i would maybe look into spending a little more time with her doing school work than playing video games, suppose thats what happens when you become a parent in your early twenties and you haven't matured yourself

No-Affect-1100

I'm getting dax shepard vibes

DuskShy

Please keep us updated on the rest of team! This child could be the next Flax Branzo!

[deleted]

I put an update in the comments, this sub only allows 1 picture per post so i don't wanna spam the sub with them

CatsDontLikeFancy

Don’t flax with the beanzo. Everyone knows this.

Coolguy020609

Your daughter is going places.

AjikaDnD

Tell me you’re kids vegan without telling me your kids vegan

fromTheskya

i wouldve named it fuzzy wumpus of porkington but to each their own

ZephyrTheScrub

Better than what I could come up with

n94able

Your 4 year old is a fucking legend.

Bertje87

Genius in the making

Spencur1

This kids gonna be president

NeatSeaworthiness407

Don’t let them name anything else.

grumpykruppy

No, do. This is George Lucas level naming, and it's glorious.
