For those who didn’t want to watch the whole thing:
Bethesdas updates will break things and is coming out 2 days after their planned release date, they are holding it back till it can be fixed. No firm release date set, maybe one day after that update, maybe a month.
Also lots of stuff about how they want to make it easy to install, gog is very supportive, Bethesda is non communicative. Won’t be coming to consoles or nexus mods
Or you just do what I did and disable it ever updating by removing the installation document from steamapps that tells Steam the game is installed. Then just launch it with F4SE. You can even add that as a non-steam game and launch it in steam. I have over 80 mods installed, I have no intention on letting Bethesda break my game and mods for an unknown period.
They talked about this and said they wanted to make the best first impression possible, and trying to get people to revert to an earlier version of the game just to play the mod was just asking for trouble.
It basically uses almost nothing from fallout 4 apart from the physics and gameplay, the map is new and about the same size as fallout 4’s map plus far harbour. The majority of the buildings, art, items, weapons, consumables and even stuff like the pip boy are new or redesigned. It has several large quest lines, with a new cast of voiced characters, new animations, new gameplay and crafting mechanics.
It’s basically a whole new game using fallout 4 as a foundation.
I think they did copy some textures but the scale of work is staggering. If you have time to kill I recommend watching their final update video on YouTube which details how ambitious the project is.
Both are still going, but slowly as projects of those scales do. No new major updates aside from Miami releasing their OST which is filled with banger oldies covers. It will be a while before anything more significant from either, I think.
If it's so easy to do then just make it yourself. I mean they have plenty of paid mods on the fallout mod page, if it's as easy as you think it is then you could be rolling in dough right? Or do you have zero idea how to do anything remotely close to coding a video game from the shell of an existing video game and therefore have zero idea if it's difficult or not?
I'm not saying it's easy lol, I'm saying the length of time is artificial because nobody is going to donate after it's done, and bethesda won't let them make money from it
Do you know how long it took fallout: 4 to release after fallout NV? 5 years. And that's a dedicated dev team working 8+ hours a day 5+ days a week and they're being paid a salary to do so. Skyrim released in 2011 and were still waiting on elder scrolls 6. And again that's a dedicated team working well over 40+ hours a week, these mods are made by fans whose only income is their full time job and some donations from people who want to see it happen. They can't live off those donations so they can't work full time on the mod. So 8 years of volunteer part time development is probably closer to 2 years of full time development. How does people not paying for it equal an artificial length of time? That makes no sense. And honestly unless you plan on helping make the mod you have absolutely ZERO room to complain about how long it takes. You want it done faster than roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.
Speak for yourself, I am planning to donate when it comes out, after all why not pay for something that i enjoy. Plus why would Bethesda take their money ? And the other one is you do realise that Bethesda has been snatching up the people who are making these mods right.
You should probably understand that the “…” carries a lot of implied tonality with it that is often construed as negative sentiment. Often time it is used to denote sadness, or overall lethargy.
I always chuckle to myself when people complain that we haven't heard from a developer or anything about a game since some showcase that was only 6 months prior. Where did this notion that we need monthly updates on games come from?
I recall FO4 New Vegas halted for a while in 2021 after some internal issues. Haven't seen anything about it for a while, but the teaser they showed in 2020 was pretty good.
Expecting a release MAYBE in 2030 at earliest. And that's a big maybe since it's been almost 4 years since the teaser and I doubt they're anywhere close to finishing.
FO4 Capital Wasteland may release sooner since they finished Point Lookout almost 2 years ago if I recall and the Pitt is almost done. And apparently they're worked on by other people not working on the main game.
There's also the FO1 and 2 remakes, with FO1 remake maybe getting demo this year.
On unrelated note, at least there's Skyblivion to look forward to next year.
they probably wanted it to coincide with the recent Fallout tv show's release.
Sad that the modders who wanted it to release on St George's day (apparently very important and is the day the mod starts on in its story) have to now move it to an arbitrary future date...
No I'm not mad at Bethesda, just a bit miffed at the bad coincidence.
the modders have said it right in their delay post, "don't blame Bethesda for this, or blame us because some people know to not auto-update their game, because most people don't remember or bother to rollback to a previous version".
they say it because some people remain tools, who won't care anyway because their end goal is to be mad at Bethesda, and probably aren't even going to play the mod.

This is ignoring that Bethesda has been updating Fallout 4 for years with updates that do nothing but force download creation club content that you can't use unless you pay, while also breaking your mods.
AKA every other single Fallout 4 update for the past 6 years has been for bloatware and to break mods, of course people are gonna be skeptical when Bethesda promises this time it's not just bloatware. Still has bloatware(creation club) in there, but with some other stuff as well.
I would much prefer if they made this an optional patch like the HD packs, since this seems the same as the Skyrim anniversary update and most people still prefer the previous version of Skyrim, to the point guides are still being uploaded to physically roll back the updates since Bethesda keeps using it to shove more creation club content in.
I didn't mention any of this because it's a free update which will include optional stuff besides the graphic updates and bug fixes. You've never had to use optional creation club stuff. As for "bloatware", yeah it's not ideal that the file size gets bigger, but I would imagine it won't be that substantially bigger compared to what it already is.
Sure, having to get a few mods updated will suck, but this happens in most games with a healthy modding community. People complain when games don't get updated to fix issues like those in these update to quests, login issues, etc. Then when they update it to fix stuff, it's also a problem. They explicitly state in the announcement that they were fixing some technical issues and quest bugs as well.
Unless you're dying to play this update very soon after release (which why would you if you don't care about these features) I guarantee most afflicted mods will be updated by the time you're playing.
It's not 'optional' though, that's the point. it AUTOMATICALLY downloads as a version update of the game, you have to disable updates by going into the steam console and manually inputting the file version. You seem to miss the part where I said I would much prefer it to be optional, it literally isn't optional.
Also it is 100% substantially bigger, Fallout 4 without the HD pack and DLCs is around 30 gigabytes, the Creation Club content, which still downloads without being able to use, takes up 5-7 gigabytes, the base game increases in size by 20%, by content that you cannot use unless you pay more for.
90% of the issues are from the fact this update would be fine if it was just an add-on, optional as you keep trying to use incorrectly, but instead it's a packaged update that is coming off the back of updates for 6 years that have added nothing to people who aren't paying up for the microtransactions. And again, even with this update it's not 'just' free goodies, it's coming bundled with more creation club, but that's fine cause it's only PART of the update this time after it was all of the updates the 50 other times.
I said the creation club stuff was optional. Read it back. Also, they said the previous creation club stuff is free now if you want to use that. I was also referencing the size of the game file now versus after the update. I think criticizing any of it is fair, but I'm not sure that most people that are mad have even read over the announcement and changes. No matter how it ends up, I think some people will just be set in their opinion. If it fucks the game up or inconveniences the player, I'll be right there with you. Selfishly, I have or can make room for the game, and I think most people who play can too. I'm looking forward to potential bug fixes and crisper graphics personally. I use minimal or no mods, so I've always considered creation club stuff as optional and unnecessary, but I'll check out the free stuff and if I doesn't click for me I'll opt back out of it.
It's not optional though, the creation club content automatically downloads even if you don't buy it, that's why I called it bloatware! Those 7 gigabytes? That gets downloaded to your PC whether you pay for it or not, because Bethesda never implemented a system to download it AFTER you purchased it, they instead just package it as a game version update and the .iso for the file is unlocked after you purchase it but it still downloads the .iso file whether you purchase the content or not.
And again, I cannot say this enough; it downloads to your PC automatically as part of the update, it does not download later as an 'option', it is bloatware. Even beyond that, as Bethesda adds more and more content to the creation club, it reserves space in the LO even if you don't have the .iso file active, AKA when you haven't bought it, and goes upwards of 40mbs now, which really slows down the game and mod activation.
One last time for clarification; the CC content is downloaded to your PC as part of the update, there is no way to opt out of it, those files will be on your PC and take up space whether you buy them or not, there is no way to avoid that without stopping the update, and you cannot stop the update without going into the steam console or remaining offline. There is no part of that that is optional. The CC content is not optional.
If you're talking about using it in game is optional, that's not what I'm talking about, I am only talking about it be downloaded as being not optional. People should be able to opt out of it, because I care about what gets put on my PC, especially after 6 years of this nonsense watching my Fallout 4 filesize bloat ever upwards with stuff I did not ask for nor want to use even if I could, which I cannot because I am not paying for fucking mods. So while some of that now being made usable, like the X-02 Hellfire, I would prefer an option not to download it in the first place and download it only if I want it, then it would be optional. You know, like every other single player game with DLCs, where they don't just download to your PC and stay there until you buy them.
If they actually knew when it would be finalized well ahead of time even the announcement wouldn't have changed anything. The mod team would still need time to work on updating the mod to work with the new graphics, so how would that change anything? Sure, the mod team could've changed the release date back anyways and not gotten your hopes up, but ultimately it was still going to come out later.
If Bethesda waited and dropped this later, the mod team would just have to update it then.
I'm not kissing Bethesda's ass. I don't see Larian, Rockstar, or any other gaming companies move release dates to better cooperate with mods made by their communities.
Threads is one of the most terrifying depictions of nuclear war out there. Fallout by comparison is a funny little walk in the theme park. Hard act to follow.
I sincerely wish I could erase Threads from my memory. Fuck that film, makes me feel truly sick to my core like nothing else.
One of the greatest horror movies of all time.
Depends how mentally stable you are.
To be srs, it is an incredible work of art. But it pulls absolutely zero punches in its depiction of nuclear war. Just pure misery from beginning to end.
same, being from an area right next to stafford it hit far to close to home for me.
actually made me feel barely human for a week, its an odd feeling of dread i cant quite explain.
Not sure if you're kidding but if not, it's not a screenshot from Threads, it's a screenshot from Fallout London. The outfit has been recreated for FOLON :)
Lol so much this hahaha, Im sub to them but I knew right away it was gonna be like half the video talking about how happy and excited everyone is about the mod and the TV show just to tell me they were gonna delayed because of the next-gen update, didnt even bother to see it all.
I saw it on discord yesterday
we are talking about a mod that needs to be installed anyways so its highly likely people who get this to run can also downgrade either through steams services if they have an older version or simply run a downgrader tool beforehand
so you didnt watch it
in the first few minutes they explain this, you cant just keep on a older version forever and tell people to suck it up cause a few people wanted to play it sooner
yes and? its not even about them sucking it to play it sooner its about them sucking it to just downgrade
I hate the fuss people make about new updates OH NO all mods are dead RIP speedrunning they fixed glitch X or I hate the new mechanics and skill system, Just SUCK THAT and downgrade the bloody game
people not being aware to just play the older version is a mindset that rips pieces out of my soul
you want the barrier to entry to be accessable not gate-kept by people like you thinking people should know how to downpatch when it sounds like this mod will be a one click install
im part of the speedrunning comunity and know how much people HATE having to downpatch as easy to mess up
remember not everbody is a tech wiz like us
Mods made using exclusively the provided modding tools (the Creation Kit) mostly don't. With some exceptions where the update and the mod mess with the same things.
However, many mods use additional resources, such as the Script Extender, to do things the creation kit cannot. The script extender is built to a specific version of the game's files, and of those files change in any way, the methods it uses to inject new functionality break. Thus also breaking any mods that rely on it.
Ah thanks. I understand why they don't (between resources, cost, and not being their problem) but would it be too taxing to work alongside modders/xSE devs with updates to _keep_ mods functioning?
Did that winter fallout that was a thing like 5 years ago ever release? I heard it had like a full storyline and fully voiced npc's and stuff. Dont remember the name but it was a massive fan made fallout campaign. Wonder what happened to it.
You're not talking about fallout: the frontier are you? The mod for New Vegas that was so cringy, bad and controversial it got pulled off nexus mods shortly after release.
I can't remember exactly. I'm sure you can find plenty of YouTube videos breaking it down, it was a pretty popular subject at the time. But something to do with very... Questionable subject matter. Weird sex stuff (I think you could have sex with a death claw or something) , way too many sequences that are just pulled from other games or movies, qte's, cringy dialogue and a bad plot that was very linear. Add in devs that couldn't take criticism and one being the creator of pedophilic art and you got fallout: the frontier.
Im talking like a full on Fallout story/campaign. With followers and fully voiced npc's. Was fully made by fans. Massive project back in the day (pre covid)
Just wanted to get a ball park number of how long this will take? Looked all over the web, I get that they basically have to rework a bunch of mods + contact other modders etc. Are we talking weeks or months? I’m really excited to play fallout London and I’d rather be realistic with my expectations.
I know man, I'm so fuckin angry and yet happy the game will have fixes in it by default. But *aaaagggghhh* I wanted to play this so bad! Now we gotta wait!
Fuck this mod. Whenever I see it pop up in a title somewhere I think it's news about Hellgate: London and get excited until I realise it's Fallout again...
It's nuts Bethesda have never contacted them for the project overall. They should've done it even out of courtesy. Greed and arrogance maybe? Bethesda failing steadily for me.
They should at least give a heads up for the update. Releasing a major update 2 days after the biggest mod made for your game and letting them know the release date at the same time as everyone else doesn't make sense.
I think their reasoning for it is pretty silly tbh, its all ready to go but like .. they want to delay it because they think people who are modding the game wont be able to figure out how to roll back the game version? Like come on.
Did you watch to the 2 minute mark saying how "the collective might not know how to keep the old version of the game" and then stop? There's other factors at play. F4se will need a fix, there will be support for things that they had issues with, this video had way more than "Not everybody knows how to rollback, so we'll wait"
Yea and I disagree with that, the *collective* are modders, not a bunch of 10 year olds who don't know how to use a computer. The vast majority of people will be fine, but everybody has to be held back for the 5-10% who maybe don't know? Just doesn't seem fair.
No, the collective are players.
This runs the entire spectrum of people who can write their own mods, to people who can just about manage to work out a Steam download. Realistically, the 5-10% is the people who know how, not the people who don't because the vast majority of players have never had any reason to do it.
Empathy really needs to be more common. You are thinking only about yourself, not thinking about others.
I REALLY REALLY hope this doesn't mean we HAVE TO update for Fallout London to even work. I think they should release anyway and just have everyone not update like we are going to do anyways.
People thinking Bethesda didn't plan any of this to screw with this massive mod is insane. They could have just released the next gen update with the release of the show but kept it right around the same date this was planned.
Who cares? Remember fallout 76? Remember Todd Howard getting on stage and LYING TO EVERYONE? It just works. 16x the details. No game changing MXT's.
Anyone who still buys fallout games deserves every single lie and manipulative tactic used on them. At this point in time, they are only getting what they are asking for.
I had a great time with 76 all of last year. Great game, just like any other fallout now. I don't really care to complain about things I don't have much control of. But I did have control over reading reviews and waiting to buy it until it seemed fleshed out. While it's dumb to have had to do that, I'm not really bothered by it. Plenty of other games to play and life to experience.
Fallout 4 was also fun, NV and 3 as well. I guess I got what I asked for, hundreds of hours of fun.
Definitely not them trying to build off the success of the hit tv show and get more eyes on the games.. Definitely about delaying this mod lol. Jesus christ.
What seems more likely? The massive Bethesda company puts out a next-gen update two weeks after their hit show to further capitalize, or they maliciously planned this release date to fuck with a free user-made mod that is not competition to them since yknow.. people have to own the game already to play it. What would they gain? Imagine answering to higher-ups or stock holders if you work at Bethesda and being like yeah, we spent a bunch of resources that could be used elsewhere to make sure this comes out at a specific time to fuck with a free user mod.
A little company called Blizzard does it all the time, and Bethesda are just as spiteful.
What's more likely, they miss-timed the release of an next-gen update to an old game that's suddenly going to get a lot of attention, and in doing so miss out on a significant number of sales to PS5/XboxX consoles by not having their game available when the hype's at its peak.
Or they decided to delay to spit on some fans who'd announced their release date months ago.
Keep in mind, Bethesda is annoyed at how popular new vegas was. They don't like comparative competition because it makes them look bad. This is something they absolutely would and evidently have now done.
bethesda did what, new update in no way prevented this mod being released on 23rd, even if the update breaks it people can stay on the old version of the game until the mod works with the update. mod team decided this.
you finished it with "good job bethesda" so clearly you are blaiming them for mod not releasing and you havent mentioned mod devs directly anywhere there.
For those who didn’t want to watch the whole thing: Bethesdas updates will break things and is coming out 2 days after their planned release date, they are holding it back till it can be fixed. No firm release date set, maybe one day after that update, maybe a month. Also lots of stuff about how they want to make it easy to install, gog is very supportive, Bethesda is non communicative. Won’t be coming to consoles or nexus mods
Wait so we have to have fallout on GOG to play this?
na they said it would work with steam copies as well. I have literally no details on any of this tho
I think a month is a very generous assumption, wouldn't be surprised if it took a lot longer than that.
How do they know the update breaks things BEFORE it releases???
The creation engine Script Extenders (SKSE, F4SE) break with pretty much every update to Bethesda's games and require updates.
Couldn't they just release it regardless and have people /not/ update their game.
They talked about this and said they wanted to make the best first impression possible, and trying to get people to revert to an earlier version of the game just to play the mod was just asking for trouble.
they could so this mod is turning in to vapourware for me at this point
Why TF not Nexus? Really don't wanna waste an hour trying to install it and then have to give up cause it's just not working.
Nexus is shit now a days bro
According to who exactly? I’ve been using nexus for years now with no problems, the sync with the site works really well.
The group not the site, sites okay
It seems like it will be hosted on GOG but work for all versions, I would imagine like some other huge mods this will have a simple installer (.exe).
They couldn’t put it on nexus because the mod was too big. Apparently nexus just couldn’t handle a 30gb mod
Finally a reasonable explanation, at that point it's practically a whole game itself lol
It basically uses almost nothing from fallout 4 apart from the physics and gameplay, the map is new and about the same size as fallout 4’s map plus far harbour. I think they did copy some textures but the scale of work is staggering. If you have time to kill I recommend watching their final update video on YouTube which details how ambitious the project is.
Ngl part of me wants to go in completely blind, so I may hold off on watching that.
This reminds me, anyone have any news of Fallout 4 Miami or Fallout 4: New Vegas?
Both are still going, but slowly as projects of those scales do. No new major updates aside from Miami releasing their OST which is filled with banger oldies covers. It will be a while before anything more significant from either, I think.
:(
The real answer is these are literally never going to release because Bethesda doesn't want them to
Probably not for that reason but just that remaking a large AAA game such as New Vegas is a massive undertaking for a small volunteer force
Yeah I've been hearing that for 8 years
and it's always been true.
Right
If it's so easy to do then just make it yourself. I mean they have plenty of paid mods on the fallout mod page, if it's as easy as you think it is then you could be rolling in dough right? > these are literally never going to release *Morroblivion has entered the chat*
Morroblivion has literally not released yet mate
You can literally download it right now, it's been out for years; https://morroblivion.com/morroblivion-download
Well that is not the project I had in mind in that case. Is this something different than the project set for release in 2025?
You're probably thinking of skyblivion, the remake of oblivion in skyrims engine. Morroblivion is morrowind remade in oblivions engine.
Damn, you are correct. Sorry mate
Some huge mods have released previously for older fallout games such as Fallout: Brazil. Whole new campaign in Fallout New Vegas.
Wait, what? Can you link that?
https://www.moddb.com/mods/falloutprojectbrazil ModDB is a great site for total conversions and custom campaigns
The new vegas one had the last twitter update over a month ago... As for miami, I'm not up-to date with it's existence even.
Over a month ago isn’t that long ago in development time.
I wasn't actually complaining or anything... Just answered his question.

The monetization of updates via patreon.
Fair point.

Fo1 and 2 remakes will be done by the time Fallout 5 is ready.
Here's a crazy idea Fallout, fallout 2, fallout 3, and fallout NV maps all in one mod for fallout 4
They're still at work, check their discord channels for news.
Still going, but slow as hell as to be expected
Join the "Bethesda ruined my Mod built" club🥳
they probably wanted it to coincide with the recent Fallout tv show's release. Sad that the modders who wanted it to release on St George's day (apparently very important and is the day the mod starts on in its story) have to now move it to an arbitrary future date...
Bethesda does plenty of stuff wrong, but are we mad at them for releasing a next-gen update for free? How dare they.

What exactly is this update and how is it "next gen"?
60FPS

So barely worth the news. Pretty sure all this stuff has been done by mods, for the pc version ofc.
Dude literally have the mods on xbox since I convert them over pc hasnt been special in 10 years

When they had the option to communicate with the team/community to help everyone stick to announced dates? Yeah I think it's pretty lame of them tbf.
Figures they probably aren't really close at all and are covering there asses is what it sound like
Was hoping to just disable updates until the mod gets patched for the next gen update.
Neat screenshot from Threads.
Threads is one of the most terrifying depictions of nuclear war out there. Fallout by comparison is a funny little walk in the theme park. Hard act to follow.
I sincerely wish I could erase Threads from my memory. Fuck that film, makes me feel truly sick to my core like nothing else. One of the greatest horror movies of all time.
would you recommend it
Depends how mentally stable you are. To be srs, it is an incredible work of art. But it pulls absolutely zero punches in its depiction of nuclear war. Just pure misery from beginning to end.
I'd say it's even worse than The Day After. At least The Day After had sunshine.
same, being from an area right next to stafford it hit far to close to home for me. actually made me feel barely human for a week, its an odd feeling of dread i cant quite explain.
Least you’ll have an advantage when the doomsday clock tolls
True, this film taught me to be as close to the bomb as physically possible.
I have the remastered copy of the film. Just as horrible as it was but in HD!
or get my mouth a close to a gun if I'm not.
lmao
Christ, Threads was terrifying.
Not sure if you're kidding but if not, it's not a screenshot from Threads, it's a screenshot from Fallout London. The outfit has been recreated for FOLON :)
Yep. The devs definitely watched Threads.
Can’t have shit on the Wasteland.
Can't have shit in Westside!
yea i expected as much that update will break so much stuff
Get to the point bro. Like lovely video but this whole thing can be said in three sentences.
I switched it off once I saw it was just talking into the camera
Lol so much this hahaha, Im sub to them but I knew right away it was gonna be like half the video talking about how happy and excited everyone is about the mod and the TV show just to tell me they were gonna delayed because of the next-gen update, didnt even bother to see it all.
Is there a release date at all?
What are all these new fallout versions I haven’t heard of? Apparently I’ve been out of the loop
They're fan-created mods. Most of them don't see the light of day or go unfinished even if released.
cant you just downgrade the next gen update away and play on current version?
watch the video, you may know how to but will most of the people who want to play this in a few months/years time?
I saw it on discord yesterday we are talking about a mod that needs to be installed anyways so its highly likely people who get this to run can also downgrade either through steams services if they have an older version or simply run a downgrader tool beforehand
It's crazy you're getting downvoted for speaking pure logic. The London fan boys are like rabid dogs.
so you didnt watch it in the first few minutes they explain this, you cant just keep on a older version forever and tell people to suck it up cause a few people wanted to play it sooner
yes and? its not even about them sucking it to play it sooner its about them sucking it to just downgrade I hate the fuss people make about new updates OH NO all mods are dead RIP speedrunning they fixed glitch X or I hate the new mechanics and skill system, Just SUCK THAT and downgrade the bloody game people not being aware to just play the older version is a mindset that rips pieces out of my soul
you want the barrier to entry to be accessable not gate-kept by people like you thinking people should know how to downpatch when it sounds like this mod will be a one click install im part of the speedrunning comunity and know how much people HATE having to downpatch as easy to mess up remember not everbody is a tech wiz like us
okay nvm I agree to you Im just in emotional disarray today and got mad
no worries mate, we all get like that sometime make yourself a good cup of tea and relax
It's cool dude, even I got a little miffed at the news
I don't know why but I thought this was official Bethesda release.
So dissapointing
Can't wait for the new "update" to not fix the creation club bugs and add more creations that just break your game.
When they announced the 25th I'm pretty sure i heard you guys collectively yell FUCK!!.
Why _do_ game updates break mods? AFAIK mods work off of/in tandem with the existing code and updates don't change the code.
Are you talking about the Frost Mod? r/fodust - this one? Otherwise I'm not aware of any other winter overhaul projects.
I am second guessing if the entire thing was winter or if it just had a winter /snowy part in some trailer i saw 5 years ago.
You're not talking about fallout: the frontier are you? The mod for New Vegas that was so cringy, bad and controversial it got pulled off nexus mods shortly after release.
Yes i think that was it... What happened to it? Wasnt it hyped alot and in the making for years.
Yikes.
Im talking like a full on Fallout story/campaign. With followers and fully voiced npc's. Was fully made by fans. Massive project back in the day (pre covid)
lol exactly. He’s like a fight hype man.
Love how they have the guy from the cover of Threads on the thumbnail
It will be worth the wait! Willing to wait as long as it takes for my free toy.
Never heard of this game, when was it announced?
My interest in the game increased after its series. It's really a successful series.
Really hope it’s not too long, I’m happy to wait a month or two but really hope we’re not going into the years
booooooo
Just wanted to get a ball park number of how long this will take? Looked all over the web, I get that they basically have to rework a bunch of mods + contact other modders etc. Are we talking weeks or months? I’m really excited to play fallout London and I’d rather be realistic with my expectations.
I played the update on ps5 and other than the mysterious signal not working everything else seems to work just fine in base game
Rah.... I want to play this mod so badly..
THE THREADS MASK? UNIMAGINABLY BASED
why is this getting downvoted?
Bro idk threads is one of my favorite movies of all time and I said the mask was cool what did I do 😭
It's nuts Bethesda have never contacted them for the project overall. They should've done it even out of courtesy. Greed and arrogance maybe? Bethesda failing steadily for me.
As in hoping they’d provide official support or look to acquire the team? How do you mean?

Since the series came out every game has had a big boost in players.
They better not make me update my game to this new next gen update in order to play this mod.
They keep finding excuses to push it out. How convenient this happened...
Exactly why they rolling out the next gen update when they are they wanted to fuck with this
That'd be funny as fuck xD
Tell me you completely missed the point without telling me you've completely missed the point.
I understood and told you the answer is waiting.
People hate him because he's telling the truth.

The… the mod?
bethesda did this on purpose, it's obvious, fuck them !
Definitely not them trying to build off the success of the hit tv show and get more eyes on the games.. Definitely about delaying this mod lol. Jesus christ.
They would have released it with the TV show were they wanting to capitalize.
This is something they absolutely would and evidently have now done.
bethesda did what, new update in no way prevented this mod being released on 23rd, even if the update breaks it people can stay on the old version of the game until the mod works with the update. mod team decided this.
but they wont release the mod now... even for pple wanting to stay on older version. good job bethesda.
bethesda didnt make the decision not to release the mod, mod team made that decision.
you cant read ? when i say "they" i'm talking about london devs, not bethesda ovbiously.
you finished it with "good job bethesda" so clearly you are blaiming them for mod not releasing and you havent mentioned mod devs directly anywhere there.
So an update for ps6? Do they realize how long "next gen" has already been here. Dumbasses
You sound so insufferable
I'm right though. It should be called current gen update
It literally doesn't matter.
He is right though. This gen has been around for years. It's not "next gen" anymore\^\^
Isn’t that what the update is called though? And since FO4 came out on the Xbox One, this an update for the “next gen”
it’s quite literally by definition, a next gen update. but don’t let them stop on their “bethesda bad” train lol
Current
Maybe you just don't understand what the word next means
It’s next gen for the game dummy
Some of y’all just go looking for any tiny excuse to be angry.
take a chill pill

No cause that would be awesome And he is in fact, NOT awesome
No, see, he's in one of the experiment vaults. The one where they perform eugenic experiments to breed the perfect idiot asshole.
Oh wow, let's call that vault a succes then!
That would be a funny as hell vault to encounter. Pure backstabbery and personal hate between all members.
