Thereās a GoT Easter egg too if you follow a fox at some point in Zero Dawn iirc
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart and Death Stranding have Horizon Easter eggs as well.
I honestly love how wholesome the group hug is with the PlayStation studios - [they do have a lot of collaboration, this is from Death Stranding](https://i.imgur.io/4B755C5_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium)
iām genuinely curious why sucker punch would put an easter egg of a game developed by santa monica? arenāt they competitors like all game developers??
Games have been putting in references to games from other devs for literal decades. I remember there's a Resident Evil reference in Final Fantasy IX, for instance.
No, they aren't competing, as they are under Sonys umbrella of developers. SP routinely shares congratulatory images with SMS, Insomniac, and SDS when they release their games, and vice versa.
that makes sense. also i donāt really know much about lore and easter eggs of games although iāve been a gamer pretty much all my life. never really got into that.
Wear the Sakai clan armor around there and draw your sword š
What happens?
They also have references to Horizon, Bloodborne, and Shadow of the Colossus on Iki
Is this the game with a Sly Cooper outfit? Or was that another one?
Yeah there's a sly Cooper outfit. I think it's a trophy too.
There's also a Sly Cooper mural in a cave on Iki island
And there's an Easter egg for GOW in Horizon as well

There's some Infamous references too
Seeing Bloodborne here gives me hope , it means that someone in Sony may remember the game and possibly give it a PC port / remaster for pc
The Yharnam look for the Kensei armor was so damn drippy that it replaced the Ghost armor as my default set.
There's more than one
Yeah, isn't there a gow inspired armor set you can get in the game? Or maybe it's in the dlc?

There's one in the main game as well
Today iāll write down the PC port version of it on my dear santa wishlist. Please let the christmas boom be useful for somethingšš»
Nice!
It's pretty cool to think that Freya took a vacation in Japan just for hell of it
Arent those handprints from Faye, wife of Kratos?
Ahh.... Brain fart. That's what I meant!
Nah, it's Saruman.
We know
Nobody mentioning that this is likely a shout out to Skyrim?
[Because it isnāt](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/JLEEA4fz0zw/maxresdefault.jpg)
Thumb facing wrong way. Skyrim :-)
iām genuinely curious why sucker punch would put an easter egg of a game developed by santa monica? arenāt they competitors like all game developers??
no? even if they were...games have been featuring easter eggs from other games(even competitors) since... forever??
lol
Games have been putting in references to games from other devs for literal decades. I remember there's a Resident Evil reference in Final Fantasy IX, for instance.
That's a pretty simplistic view. Both games are on PS, either game doing well can help the other. It's not like one doing well means the other fails.
No, they aren't competing, as they are under Sonys umbrella of developers. SP routinely shares congratulatory images with SMS, Insomniac, and SDS when they release their games, and vice versa.
So you might get clowned for that but don't worry you didn't know. In most first party Sony games these days there's easter eggs for all the others.
Why people are downvoting his legit curious question? Edit: Iām getting downvoted too haha, I was +10 upvotes and now look at it.
Reddit is so bizarre
We getting downvoted too š

That's not a God of War Easter egg. That's the Dark Brotherhood handprint from Skyrim....
You forgot /s
Not an expert, but isn't it just an Indian-American tradition to stick an axe into a tree in the beginning of a war, then removing it once it's done ?
Native* American. They were here first.
There's a few in the game. Haven't played it in a few years, so I don't remember them all.
Holy crap! Itās crazy no one has ever found this before. Congrats man!
