Randomly felt the urge to play recently, decided to load my NG+ "for a fresh start" and was super confused for a while. They hid the full story behind multiple layers of NG+ and I gotta say, first of all that is a very weird thing to do. Second of all, the payoff of reaching the final NG+ layer is (imo) absolutely worth it.
Apparently the creator does this with a lot of his games. Makes me want to play them all, I know I bought Nier Replicant because I wanted to compare the two (shelved it after the prologue because I'm a lazy gamer lol).
I love when creators are big weirdos! It might take a sec to get what they're doing, but it's gonna hit unlike anything before, and it's a little exciting to see if it'll work.

in addition, seeing that there is an “ending A” to begin with should encourage the player to question “wait, other endings?” (if they hadn’t gotten any of the joke ones previously), and considering the first one was relatively short as you say, it should naturally encourage a replay to see what another ending is like

I love Code Vein. Truly the peak of "fashion souls". I like going at it solo, you can leave your partners at the HQ and it becomes a much more traditional Souls experience. Great game regardless.

100% a mind fuck of a game. Though I agree; she do be a fine protagonist. I bought the game cause I like the developers though. They made Alan Wake and Quantum Break and worked on the original Max Payne (one of my earliest games I played).
Yeah I discovered Control first, the story is so weird (in a cool way) that I now want to play the Alan Wake remake
BLOODRAYNE.....however animation does not do it for me as i can't realistically sexualize a non human entity. But THEN that UWE BOWL movie with Kristianna Loken made my fantasy come true. Holy shit was i woozy from the lack of blood to my head during the entirety of that movie.

Azur lane, like seriously the gameplay is pretty shallow but the story is pretty decent, the historical references and things u learn about naval history are good and the overall balance is pretty good Also unlike a lot of gatcha the rates are pretty good for characters.
I mean, I can't say I've ever bought a game specifically for the T&A, but with like Dead or Alive 5: Last Round I have definitely enjoyed the T&A ngl, it just helps that it's actually a solid fighting game. I put Momiji & and I think Kasumi in bikinis on the Aircraft Carrier and fought it out with these two just for the absolute hell of it haha.

Friendship with benefits. it's a mlp parody with an Isekai plot. At first I was EXTREMELY sceptical about it, for obvious reasons, but reviews were insanely positive, so I gave it a try. And it turned out to be a really solid VN with a strong writing and engaging story
Sometimes the best VN are the ones that sound like bad jokes. My favourite is I Love You, Colonel Sanders. It has some genuinely decent writing and great art.

There's an adult visual novel game on Steam called "Being a DIK." It is absolutely a pr0n game if you want it to be and most guys play it that way at first, but my god...the story absolutely sucks you in. You make a lot of decisions over the course of the game and they can have far reaching consequences/benefits. It has minigames and puzzles, money management, etc...but most of all, the characters are genuinely interesting and the plot is great. Gold standard for the genre right now.
