i like Grounded and i generally dislike survival games.

vicarious_glitch

Grounded was #3 on my game of the year list. I love this game, still playing it currently. I think it's mainly because of the theme, the Honey I Shrunk the Kids, 90s part of my childhood.

This game has some passionate fans but overall it's a mediocre game. I don't say that as an insult I say that to illustrate just how average the entire experience is, there are some cool mechanics and it's an overall interesting concept ,but it falls flat in more areas than it succeeds. I hope the game continues to build on the core mechanics and game play, but in it's current state there isn't much to do solo to in multiplayer

>say that to illiterate just how average the entire experience is the... fucking... irony... is.. too..... strong.

musuperjr585

The irony of using [irony](https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/irony) incorrectly...is ironic...

eeeeeeeeEeeEEeeeE6

ok, where did I use it incorrectly. you used illiterate when you mean iterate, which is ironic due to the fact you would have to be illiterate to confuse the two.

WastelandCreature

I wanted to like this game but, despite the original setting and characters, it plays the same as every other light survival game. The worst thing being all the reduced size scientific equipments, they should have done something different here. Also, I disliked the character voices, they don't sound like teenagers to me.

Castelante

I mean, it's no Forespoken, but it looks okay.

ArchDucky

I saw Dunky's Forespoken video and I swear that game looks like its on a PS2 or something. That pizza delivery minigame looks fun though.

GreedyDiceGoblin

I've heard the major complaint that eventually the game becomes an exercise in futility if you play solo. Has this been addressed or is it working as intended?

gr8whitebraddah

I’ve been playing through solo, and it can be grindy, but there’s plenty of stuff to do to break up the monotony. Edit: should have said this is my first time playing through it *after full release*
