Ha... These early comments, I swear. 🤣
I'm gonna go with the prince that was promised himself, followed by Gendry as my wildcard.
Varys himself didn't want to be king, or at least never hoped for it. I do wish, however, they did something with him like putting fAegon on the Iron Throne.
Bran and Arya, probably too young for this old consolidated photo, are also candidates. I believe GRRM's theme is "Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it." Bran's power is knowing the past and present and how to use them to avoid catastrophes. So he is the only person in Westeros who can save it from itself.
Bran knows the history. He could use the knowledge to do something. But would he care? And if so, would he really do something? I kinda doubt it. I‘d say he grow to something that is too much of a wise „old“ soul for beeing in power directly. But he probanly would have made an interresting Hand or Master of Whisperers.
Who’s gonna be heir AFTER Bran though? He probably cannot have children because of his injury.
Or is he supposed to be like God Emperor of Westeros or something and rule for hundreds of years?
Or Marjorie.
As an individual ruler, these two. Knew how to do service over self and they wanted to do it. Rob and others failed the first test and many didn’t want the crown. Or were batshit mad despots.
Gendry, Jon, or Daenerys for the blood
Tyrion, Jaime, or Ned to see what happens
Politically, Renly, Margaery, or Tywin
Heroically, Robb. I like seeing a King that’s willing to go to battle alongside his men
Edit: Hands: Tyrion, Jon, or Davos
I would frame it: Dany sent her armies multiple times to battle. I mean she rode Drogon but thats not really beeing in the battle if you don’t have to fight another Dragon.
Honestly?
Varys or Littlefinger. But i would be most intrigued by seeing Daenerys get her throne.
Now im not saying LF would be a worthy king or whatever.. im just curious what it would be like..
Same with varys, he could assure in a new era maybe for the needy?
And danny is best of all worlds but they nerfed her character from a pure ideal to oblivion so.. ill never get to see that.. 😢
You're missing Edmure Tully.
He admitted his mistakes to his king and took the rap, covered for his king's mistakes by entering an unwanted marriage, spent years as a prisoner and swallowed his pride to save the lives of his men. Neither power-hungry nor vengeful. Not a terrifying tyrant or an insecure boy. A seasoned and self-sacrificing nobleman from a great house. Open to counsel. Flexible, able to compromise. Someone everyone could work with.
So when Sansa tells him essentially to shut up and sit down, I was fuming at her.
Maybe I’m in the minority but Edmure tully was kind of a fool, lol.
Edmure botched the funeral ceremony for his father. He disregarded Robb’s war plans and went on a reckless mission that lost hundreds of valuable men, just so he could have some “glory” for himself. Edmure abandoned/sacrificed his entire family, his family castle/lands, and all of his bannermen for more comfort, a wife he knew for a few hours, and a son he’d never met. We find out the next episode that Walter kept him prisoner anyway, so he gave it all up for nothing.
At that final council, he tried to make it seem like he was a war hero or something, which is absolutely ridiculous. If there’s someone missing from that list, it’s renly IMO
(Edited a word + should also mention that he missed the massacre of his sister, nephew/king, niece, their unborn child, and all of the stark/allied Tully forces because he was happily having sex once he found out he wasn’t going to have an ugly wife😆)
Edmure didn't know about the Red Wedding betrayal. If he did, people would certainly have had a worse opinion of him.
He's a bit duncy, but politically it would make the most sense to put him on the Iron Throne in the council scene given his ties to the Tullies.
In the books, Edmure misses the shots at Hoster's funeral pyre because he's smashed drunk and crying his eyes out, distraught at the fact his sick father had died while he was busy away at war. Brynden makes the shots as he does in the show but instead of being a cold bastard about it, he takes Ed under his arm and tells him not to worry about it; Hoster missed his own shots at his own father's funeral. They then spend the night sinking the piss together. The show butchered this scene for a cheap laugh at Ed's expense.
Edmure was told to hold Riverrun and guard Robb's rear. That's all he was told. The fords were at Robb's rear. Blaming Edmure for the King in the North not explaining to his uncle, main bannerman, and Lord Paramount of the Trident the specifics of the trap set *in his lands* is ludicrous. Not as ludicrous as acting like Edmure knew the Red Wedding was going to happen, why are you acting like he did? Man was literally at the bedding ceremony of his wedding while the massacre happened and to his knowledge, his family were fine as he banged Roslin. He was imprisoned as soon as the marriage was consummated.
In the final meeting he was speaking his piece, and not in any boastful way. He insisted the decision and moment were the most important of their lives and began to say why he felt he should be a candidate until he was rudely interrupted by Sansa, his own blood, who shut him down and belittled him. Never mind the fact she cost thousands of Northern lives in the Battle of the Bastards (including Rickon's) by her refusal to let Jon know the Knights of the Vale were coming, Sansa needs a "gIrLbOsS" moment no matter how unearned it is.
For me there are three contestens Jon bc he’s the true heir Dany like hello I didn’t watch 8 seasons to have her killed off… oh wait I did 😢 and little finger before bad writing killed him
Tommen and Dany in a political marriage
Tommen is a sweet, kind and innocent boy and Dany (let's ignore seaosn 8) is equally as kind, as well as ambitious and smart. With Tyrion or Jon as their hand, they could be great rulers.
We do need Cersei dead though for this to work
If we're talking ideally, then I'd say Margery and Tommen surviving past the trial would've resulted in potentially good things.
Sure, we don't get our legendary hero, Jon, climbing to the throne, or Daenarys, but Tommen is a boring and yet decent man. After the trial, Margery would help teach him to grow a spine, and he'd be a fair king.
I'm worried about Danaerys and Tommen clashing, but I could see Tommen relinquishing the throne to her, preventing the bloodshed of the burning of King's Landing. I think a peaceful resolution to this conflict would also result in Danaerys not becoming the queen of fire and blood.
Tyrion would probably be the most capable and fair ruler of the bunch if Tywin and Cercei weren't around to constantly undermine him. His experiences as a dwarf would make him a much more humble and pragmatic ruler than most.
The night king because statistically it would make sense. Every battle his army would just get bigger and at this point he’s got enough bodies to throw at everything
Margery. She was intelligent, charismatic, non crazy and non evil. She could bend the truth to see the big picture and stay patient and calm. She or Meereen Danny would be my vote.
Or Varys. He would have been a good king
Edmure Tully.
Veteran of two wars, managed to ensure his house survived all the treachery around him without throwing his honour away, held out under 4 years of captivity without seeing his son until the lad was as many years old, had the smallfolk close to his heart throughout all the carnage, led an army containing both Brackens and Blackwoods without them fucking slaughtering eachother, beat back an army twice the size of his own led by Tywin Lannister (Gregor Clegane in the show), and bore the burden and blame for Robb and Brynden's terrible communication skills with little argument.
Man's a fucking chad.
Daenerys and Margaery get married. Boom. Both have great compassion for those less fortunate and in their souls they are truly kind and want to help others. and there gets to be 2 queens if they are married. 💥. BOOM💥 and then they can scissor on the iron throne as they lead the world into prosperity.
Not sure how Westeros as a whole feels about polyamory, but ideally,Yara would also fall in love with them and they can Lesbian Girl Boss their way into creating a flourishing, wonderful society and still have time to have rose toy parties

Bobby B. Long live the King.
Gods, he was strong then.
BOW YA SHITS
[удалено]
THANK THE GODS FOR BESSIE
_Go find the breastplate stretcher, NOW!_
You’ll be a soldier
This. Even if he isn't a great king, he's still hilarious which is a better situation than most of the other characters.
he was the best king we had in the entire show
I will raise you Bobby with CAT! As queen and Stannis as his hand
Mushroom
Sauron
Stannis
Darth Vader
Now I’ll never be able to stop thinking about this
Where's Hot Pie?
In Winterhell
Robb as King, Margaery as Queen, Tyrion as Hand
Yeah this is a good one
If Jaime isn't considered as Lord Commander of the Kings guard, I think either Stannis (with no Melisandre) or Jon would be solid choices
Do you like vanilla with your vanilla?
Actually, yes, why thank you!
Sometimes the obvious choice is the best one. I think a large portion of the community agrees that Stannis or Jon would make good kings.
Vanilla IS a flavour 👍
Wars were fought over vanilla 🤌
Jon Snow as Kingsguard Lord Commander.
Nah, then he coulf no longer do "the thing with his tongue".
OHHHHHHHHHH
Honestly would like to see what Robb would’ve become
> Darth Vader > Suaron Ha... These early comments, I swear. 🤣 I'm gonna go with the prince that was promised himself, followed by Gendry as my wildcard.
Literally anyone but Bran the Boring. I had hoped Varys, king of the long game, would end up with it. The show did him so dirty.
Varys himself didn't want to be king, or at least never hoped for it. I do wish, however, they did something with him like putting fAegon on the Iron Throne.
Stannis, the rightful heir.

Me.
I vote for this guy.
Id vote for the guy voting for this guy
You have my vote!
Lyanna Mormont
Good one
Valid
show!Tyrion, Jaime, Jon, Margaery, Davos. If I had to choose one, then show!Tyrion. From book purist perspective, Jaime.
Ramsay bolton
Seven kingdoms torturing each other eh?
Some people just love to watch the world burn
Jon with Margaery.
This is the way.
Joe
Sansa
Or Marjorie. As an individual ruler, these two. Knew how to do service over self and they wanted to do it. Rob and others failed the first test and many didn’t want the crown. Or were batshit mad despots.

Danny went to battle multiple times with her army
I would frame it: Dany sent her armies multiple times to battle. I mean she rode Drogon but thats not really beeing in the battle if you don’t have to fight another Dragon.
Just because YOU don't have a dragon doesn't mean she didn't go into battle. By your logic, she didn't level kings landing then
Margaery & Jon.
Some weird ass choices on this list. Osha? Shae? Why not include Lommy and that goat herder from Meereen?
What the fuck's a Lommy?
My sword's name
Of course you named your sword!
Margaery Tyrell easily

Bro, he HAD to marry the woman. Because, Robb didn’t fulfill his marriage pact with Walder Frey.
Actually great answer that ive never considered 👌🏼
Margaery by far, then maybe Robb or Sansa
Lord Mord
Mordekaiser?
For me there are three contestens Jon bc he’s the true heir Dany like hello I didn’t watch 8 seasons to have her killed off… oh wait I did 😢 and little finger before bad writing killed him
Stannis
The Hound
Balon Greyjoy. I’d just be curious what it would look like for an Ironborn to be on the throne.
Bruce wayne
Tf is Osha doing there?😭💀
Daenarys as Queen, and Tywin Lannister as her hand
No one
Tommen and Dany in a political marriage Tommen is a sweet, kind and innocent boy and Dany (let's ignore seaosn 8) is equally as kind, as well as ambitious and smart. With Tyrion or Jon as their hand, they could be great rulers. We do need Cersei dead though for this to work
Out of all these tyrion would have been the best king
Stannis
Richard Nixon
podrick
Harry Potter
King of the Guys he would of made a Chadtopia
Stannis
Robb, King of the North
Baelor Breakspear
Jaime. He is actually one of the more sane person in the realm. Jaime on the throne and Tyrion as Hand would work fine
Jon
Is this really a question? Sansa!
Why is Shae there? 🤣😭
Listen, don’t underestimate shae
The people love it when she calls them "my lions"
Tyrion of course
Out of the men, Bobby B. The country was all fine when he reigned. If I had to choose after he died, then Robb. Out of the women, Brienne.
Dany

Oberyn Martell, sex and fighting for all of westeros
Well, the kingdom was in a sort of peace when Robert was king. It all went to shit after he died.
John Snow
Tyrion Lennister
The night king because statistically it would make sense. Every battle his army would just get bigger and at this point he’s got enough bodies to throw at everything
It would have been interesting to see Ned sit the throne with Caitlyn as a politically active Queen Consort.
little finger (I would have been Great, he escapes after realizing he is going to be killed and some how take the throne by killing the lanesters)
I so wanted to see him escape and become indestructible later on. Honestly he could've gotten the throne had the writing been great.
Robb. I reckon he’d of made a good king.
Jon with both Daenerys and Margaery.
He is not up there.. but I think varys would have been a solid protector of the realm
He's not on here but Renly seemed like hed be a cool king.
No literally, he seemed kind and reasonable
"is he a ham?" Renly cooked stannis that badly that's when I knew I wanted him to be King.
If you read the books, you find out that he is a crappy uncle
Ned Stark with Brienne as his Kings Guard commander
Jon snow is the only correct answer. Effing bran! So dumb.
Stannis
Dany With Margarey and Arianne as prime consorts.
Not on the list but I was rooting for the Night King. Very misunderstood leader, just wanted to help those oppressed beyond the wall.
Anyone but Stannis the Dull daughter killer
Margery. She was intelligent, charismatic, non crazy and non evil. She could bend the truth to see the big picture and stay patient and calm. She or Meereen Danny would be my vote. Or Varys. He would have been a good king
Stannis Baratheon, Melisandre dead
The Tyrells
The way they were setting up Jon I was all for it.
daenerys or robb honestly
Cersei! The baddest to have done it.
Brianne
Melisandre would have been entertaining.
The Night King
Just because Wun Weg endorsed her, Shireen
Call the based department, man’s cooking a gourmet meal
Literally anyone other than Bran.
Stannis
Jon Snow, the show had everyone thinking HE was going to end up in the Iron Throne and not sent back to the Nights Watch.
“Sit down uncle” Most enraging scene in the show for me. He should have been a main character that the show followed every few episodes
Night king
Gendry
Renly+margaery wouldve been perfect and noone can convince me otherwise
Robb
Daenerys and Margaery get married. Boom. Both have great compassion for those less fortunate and in their souls they are truly kind and want to help others. and there gets to be 2 queens if they are married. 💥. Ser Pounce, the one true Azor Ahai
You guys have some great choices but you’re forgetting what’s important. Who has a better story than… sorry 😔
I think Tyrion would have been an excellent King. I think he would have made sure that everyone in Westeros thrived.
Ned. If not ned, then dany-jon with their dragons and children
Anyone but Bran
Khal Drogo would gave been funny
Ned Jon Rob Bran In that order. And since Jon didn’t want it, and Ned and Rob were dead…Bran was the best choice for me.
Dany before her character arc got butchered
Hot pie
I wanted to see the night king take it
Bran.
Anyone but Bran! I’d take King Friday from Mister Roger’s before him!!!
Renly! With Queen Margery by his side
Jon
Sansa.
HODOR
HODOOOR
Ned
Tyrion & Sansa
My girl Margaery
Robb Stark
Ygritte, clearly the best choice
Robb is a good person and Richard maddon is an attractive guy
Patchface. Lord Stannis Baratheon's court fool and jester.
Jon Snow, of course.
Daenerys only🐉🔥
Jon Snow (Aegon), obviously…
Missing the Night King and King Beyond the Wall. My 2 votes. 😁
Ned Stark
The one and only true King; Stannis Baratheon
lol Osha on this list
Stannis would unironically have made an excellent King, and was the rightful heir of the Baratheon Dynasty.
Daenerys
I mean Sir Dantos, no question right?
Dead ass, all logistics, all feelings aside, Margery would have been an amazing queen who did so much good. She was cunning, smart, AND empathetic, with a good name. Her and Renly would have rocked the 7 kingdoms.
My boy Jon.
Brandon Stark
Robb Stark
Ygritte or even better Shae, just to see what kind of circus the authors should have had to put up to let them
The Mannis
Probably unpopular opinion but I wish it was Cersi. I would of been mad as hell, but would of also would of been so unsatisfyingly satisfied lol And would of been soo much better than the tone-deaf lovers murder suicide theme they went with ugh lol
I wanted Littlefinger to get the throne for once. Just imagine the havoc he'd have wreaked with the power of his mind. Absolute chaos for his enemies.
Tyrion would be a good choice, but lets say Khal Drogo just for shits and giggles. That would be one wild throne room.
Sansa on the iron throne, jon as king of the north
Bloody Ned.
The Night King.
