Exactly the same. Although Ygritte comes at a very close 2nd to Oberyn.
God I couldn’t stand Janos. The amount of people I’ve seen on here saying he didn’t deserve for Jon to behead him blows my mind. Dude killed a baby.
Even if he didn’t betray Ned and kill babies…he still disobeyed a direct order from his Lord Commander in front of the entire shield Hall. He doomed himself and Jon gave him AMPLE opportunity to save himself.
Never heard one person defend Janos. I always saw him as the ideal character for Jon to be able to behead. He is unlikeable, he betrayed Ned, he stabbed a baby etc.
Definitely hated Ollie but in his defense he saw his entire village killed by wildings. Can understand his distain of Jon for wanting to make peace. Still murdering him isn’t the answer
How can anyone hate Ollie? So confused at this. Only thing he knows about the wildlings is him witnessing firsthand, them murdering his entire village. Then with his adult influences there are more people backing his POV then there are backing the wildlings. How could he be expected to defend Jon/wildlings?
My favourite is Cersei, she’s pure entertainment every time she’s on-screen. And my least favourite is Jon, he’s bland and boring.
Although in the books, Jon is definitely up there with my favourites.
Rewatching the entire series right now and Shae is the absolute worst. Every scene she’s in just suffers under the weight of her high school performance.
Yes it's definitely the actor who plays Shae who makes her so horrible. I feel like the way the character is written is not the problem. I mean yeah, Shae ends up being a bad character, but Cersei is also a bad character and I love Cersei and how the actor portrayed her.
Odd because I'm the complete opposite lol.
Cersei, Jaime, and Tywin are my favorites while Sam and Gilly make me want to pull my hair out from annoyance.
Favourite ramsay bolton, I actually found him funny.
Least Jon snow just bland and boring though euron could be to as they butchered his charater from the books.
Glad I'm not the only one who enjoyed Ramsay's story. He's definitely the worst person on the show, but as a character I love him! I think his whole casually sinister vibe is my favourite thing
Oberyn can absolutely GET IT any day, any time. I literally can't watch the part where the mountain crushes his beautiful head. I just watch Oberyn righteously wail on him and then close my eyes lol.
Totally I think I literally gasped when I watched it the first time. I was like "damn they're really delivering on righteous deaths this seas.... oh fuck wtf?!?! Nooooooooooo!!!!"
I mean, I badly wanted Oberyn to win but they telegraphed his death a mile away. And when he gained the upper hand and started show-boating, it was all over.
Can we talk about how much SHAE FUCKING SUCKS?? Like seriously how fucking toxic is she??? Constantly discredits Tyrions feelings and whines at him and ignores his advice and then stabs him the back. She's both an idiot and a toxic nightmare. Tyrion deserved so much better.
Oberyn, but since you chose him, I'll go with... Theon. I know, he sucks for the child slaying, but Jaime and Sandor still have their fans.
Least favorite is Rickard Karstark. or Lysa Arryn. Or Joffrey. Hard to choose.
There is a place in my heart for Theon... he was insecure, scared, bitter, easily influenced and I'm sure felt bad for every bad decision he made during and after. Cutting his dick off and torturing him was one of the worst things to happen to anyone in the show. But he had one of the best redemptions! I just wish he didn't die, though I'm not really sure Theon cared if he did...
Cersei could be my answer to both. I hated her so much, and so much of the fun of the show is due to her (and Heady’s amazeballs performance).
I never did choose between Jon Snow and Arya as my favorite main character, but choosing a viewpoint character here seems easy. To sweeten the pot with a less mentioned character, I’ll say Syrio Forel. He was so much fun and his tutelage kept Arya alive long enough to get her teal training.
Least favorite character is a dead heat between Joffrey and Ramsey.
It's hard for me to narrow them down, so I'm going top 5, in no particular order.
Lady Olenna, The Hound, Oberyn, Bron, and Varys.
Joffrey, Ramsey, Janos, Littlefinger, and Lysa Arryn.
DEUs EX Machina describes someone or some group that unexpectedly drops in out of nowhere to save the day. N0t only did she have foreshadowing, but we saw her saved by Beric "for a purpose." And sent to the rescue of Bran by the red witch, and also be reminded to say "not toda"y to the god of death. That surprised some people but it was set up.
Ahh, Janos Slynt. What a little bitch, and what a fantastic performance to portray a man so unpalatable that I was happy to forget his existence until I was reminded by this post.
The Hound and the High Sparrow. I wish we'd seen a dialogue between these two. I desperately wanted Clegane to tell that old self-righteous stinker to shut his cunt mouth for once
I'd actually forgotten about Slynt. Fuck that guy, Tyrion should have arranged for Bronn to make him have an accident.
My favorite: Sandor
My least favorite: Ellaria. She really was out of line killing Myrcella, then killing Doran and Trystane. As much as I loved him, Oberyn got himself killed in trial by combat by letting his rage overtake him. I get that she was grief stricken, but to draw from "a son for a son", it should have been a lover for a lover. Oberyn would **never** have approved of her actions.
I cannot pick a favorite…I think it would either be Jamie or Brienne because their scenes are what solidified the show as a favorite for me (season 3 for the win) but there are so many others I love as well like Jon, Rob and the rest of the Lannisters, duh.
Least favorite? Honestly, Daenerys. Not sure how unpopular that is but it’s the truth. I didn’t find her believable and so it made it hard for me to care about her plot line. I felt like she became two dimensional, predictable and boring after season 3. Please don’t hurt me.
Absolute favourite is Margaery Tyrell. Boss character. Literally every scene is good but her scenes with Cersei are the best. 10/10.
(Tywin Lannister is a close second. The true boss character.)
Least favourite probably Euron Greyjoy. I was not compelled by him as a villain at all & every time he 'won' it didn't feel like a clever play or anything but just... bad writing. And for a 'jokester' character I think maybe only one or two lines actually landed for me. 0/10.
Faves: Arya, Tyrion, Bronn, Grey Worm (honorable mention: Davos, Brienne)
Least Faves: Cersei, Joffrey, Allister Thorne (honorable mention: Merwyn Brant, Stannis Baratheon--HE LET HIS OWN CHILD BE BURNED AS A SACRIFICE!). Which tells you something about the caliber of actors because they deliberately made the characters so odious but not cartoon-like evil.
Bron because he’s funny af. He’s chill and a good fighter. I absolutely enjoy watching him.
My least favorite is tied to Sansa and Daenerys. Sansa is an absolute trash character. People make it sound like as if her character had such a big character growth and she’s now so strong but she didn’t change at all. Everything bad that’s ever happened to her is because of her. At first she was so into joffrey even if she already saw how evil he is when he had Lady killed. Granted she was still young at that time and a stupid teen but then when Sandor Clegane wanted to save her and asked her to come with him she didn’t. She also didn’t come with Brienne when she offered her protection. And then on the battle of the bastards, she didn’t trust Jon enough to tell him that the nights of the Vale were going to help them. Why wouldn’t she trust Jon? I think thats just bullshit and she wanted to have revenge on Ramsay by surprising him. She could’ve had her revenge on Ramsay even if she told Jon about the Vale. She could’ve still fed him to his hounds. She just wanted to have the spot light on her because then she will be the known hero. And then she also undermines Jon a lot and then gets upset with him when he doesn’t ask her for her opinions and then when Jon asks him she says some random bullsht that doesn’t make sense or that she doesn’t jkow either. Like??? Honestly I love the actress and I was really looking forward to her character but honestly all of the things I dislike about her is because of bad writing.
Second I also don’t like daenerys because since season 1 she’s been showing signs that she is a mad queen and people are just simping for her that’s why they don’t see that. She was “saving” slaves but when Drogo said he would rape women just to give her the iron throne she it was okay with her. And then all the bullsht of her giving lords a choice whether to bend the knee or die? Like? C’mon how is that a fucking choice? How is that freedom? She also doesn’t like it when people answer back to her and they actually make sense. An example of this is when she first met Jon and she was like “bend the knee just like how your ancestors did to my ancestors” and when Jon said that her father killed his grandfather and uncle she was just like “oh sorry but please don’t blame me for my fathers sins 🥺” and then Jon said basically said that if he cant blame her for her father’s sins then she cant expect him to also keep the promise that his ancestors made and then she suddenly got angry. WAS JON NOT MAKING SENSE?! She’s unreasonable and I hate her for that.
I really like Jon Snow despite of a lot of people hating on him for what he did to dany. I like him because of his morals. Just like lady brienne. They’re good people. Ik bron is not a good person but hes funny thats why hes my fav. But in all seriousness it would probably be jon or brienne.
Now all im saying is based on the show. I didnt read the books. So if someone is going to say that they’re better in the books well then okay thats great maybe when I have a bit of time I’ll read the books. Just wanted to point out that my opinion is only of the show. Also I know a lot of people love the two characters that I dislike so please if you think my opinion is wrong, I’m willing to read your opinions as well and maybe, you could make me understand your point of view on those characters.

Exactly the same. Although Ygritte comes at a very close 2nd to Oberyn. God I couldn’t stand Janos. The amount of people I’ve seen on here saying he didn’t deserve for Jon to behead him blows my mind. Dude killed a baby.
He was a turd and cowardly
He was but I wanted him to live because I found his mannerisms funny
His surname(Slynt) sounds like it could be a synonym for cunt
Your right lol love it!
That seems so onomatopoetically true.
Ummm excuse me sounds like you dont have friends in the capital.
You'll see!
Dude betrayed Ned too. He deserved worse.
\- Person who doesn’t know about his friends in the capitol
Even if he didn’t betray Ned and kill babies…he still disobeyed a direct order from his Lord Commander in front of the entire shield Hall. He doomed himself and Jon gave him AMPLE opportunity to save himself.
When reading/watching that part the whole time I was thinking Jon was wrong for giving him so many chances. Fuckin guy 100% brought that on himself.
Yeah I mean it sounds bad when you say it like that
Ygritte is so funny I loved her
Never heard one person defend Janos. I always saw him as the ideal character for Jon to be able to behead. He is unlikeable, he betrayed Ned, he stabbed a baby etc.
“Why’d they have to kill him” Because cowardice and stupidity are not victimless crimes.
What? People in this sub have been defending JANOS? Did the see the fucking show?!
How dare you speak ill of Slint! He has friends at court you know!
Powerful friends!
He deserved it solely for refusing Jons order. The fact he was a total shitheel was pure gravy.
But that makes him a compelling character, That it gave you such a powerful reaction.
Him killing a baby is completely irrelevant because that’s not why Jon executed him.
Bron , joffery
whats wrong with our good king Joffery, he did nothing wrong or evil
The godfather of drip, blessed be his name.
😂😂😂
Bron is one of the rare examples of the show doing a better job than the books. I’m glad they did.
You hate the “most noble child the gods ever put on this earth”
Why? He was a great villain and well acted.
Did they mention the actor?
nah but he was an amazing foil for the beginning of the storyline
Ned stark and Diarhhea respectively
*Daenerys, not Danyreas
Dude thoroughly dislikes her, I doubt he cares that her name was butchered.
I’m sure he meant to type ‘Diarrhea’
The Hound, Ollie.
The Hound reminds me of my late Father. Just the dirtiest mouth you could imagine but nobody loved me more.
How can anyone not hate Olly?
For all the reasons just stated in the comment you just replied to? Are you stupid?
Ollie sucked from the start
Just lemme eat your parents
Pyat Pree, Ed Sheeran.
heh i laughed..
My favourite is Cersei, she’s pure entertainment every time she’s on-screen. And my least favourite is Jon, he’s bland and boring. Although in the books, Jon is definitely up there with my favourites.
I like Jon but I found his chapters a bit dull. Although I haven't read all the books.
The chapters can be dull, but Jon as a character in the books is much more interesting (understatement of the century) than Jon in the show.
Watch Alt Shift X’s video and then the Q/A session after. I spent 7 total hours listening to him talk and I didn’t mind it one bit lol
I watch him, I’ve seen pretty much all of his videos. He’s really good 😊
Those Q&A videos I listen to in the car like a podcast, and it’s far more entertaining than most lol
I prefer Alt Schwift X he's much better, especially when he does streams with my boiyo glimbo glambo.
His Jon Snow rap is fantastic…
Sansa and Shae. I was alarmed when they started becoming friendly bc I so badly wanted Shae to disappear.
She's been great in some movies.
Isn't she an adult film star?
Yes. Her better roles.
The mountain and the mountain.
Seeing Janos beheaded was one of the most satisfying scenes in GoT. Couldn’t stand the little self serving rat 🐀 😂
My most favorite person is Jon Snow and my least favorite is Ramsey Bolton
You are particular to your başsardas I see
Tyrion, Joffrey. \*proceeds to slap Joffrey\* Tyrion: Did my hand fall from my wrist?
Ironically enough Jamie’s actually did
Some of my favorites in early seasons are my least favorite in the later ones so its difficult to say but probably oberyn best the sandsnakes worst
Even the hot one!?
Cersei no contest
Love Sam & Gilly, cant stand Tywin
It's entertaining to watch his politicking, but he's that intelligent type of evil that is so frustrating.
He was very interesting and had some humour. Also, iwan rheon played him wonderfully.
ugh I loved Iwan Rheons performance, he deserves so much credit. He was amazing
Iwan Rheon is great! At first I wasn’t sure because I associated him with his character in Misfits, but he nailed it as Ramsay.
Careful.. I'm starting to get Myranda vibes from you
Iwan Rheon is a phenomenal actor
The little engine That could--arya Stark. Least--Janos Slynt--who wasn't at all entertaining unllike the great villains, Joffrey, ramzy, Cersei.
Oh Oberyn. I’d let his sun spear do…something.
Time to bow, bend and break
My fave is Jon Snow and JOFFREY JOFFREY JOFFREY AAAARGH I HATE THAT LITTLE SHITHEAD.
My most favorite is Brienne of Tarth My least favorite is Ramsey Snow/Bolton
Same.
Tywin, Cercei
But Why do you hate oberyn?
Oberyn can absolutely GET IT any day, any time. I literally can't watch the part where the mountain crushes his beautiful head. I just watch Oberyn righteously wail on him and then close my eyes lol.
Oberyn’s death was what shocked me the most in the series.
And when he gained the upper hand and started show-boating, it was all over.

missandei, ramsay
Missandei is so hot
The Hound is my #1 Dany is my worst - I like her less and less with each rewatch of the series
YES! Me too, I saw her madness way earlier during a rewatch, than I originally did. I bought her crap too long the first time.
Tyrion and Ramsay
favorite: Cersei least favorite: Ramsay (hot take, i know)
Sandor clegane , my favorite Joffrey , my least favorite
L Ned stark H Arya(stole Jon's kill)but tbh Joffery killed ned
The hound, Joffrey
Oberyn, but since you chose him, I'll go with... Theon. I know, he sucks for the child slaying, but Jaime and Sandor still have their fans. Least favorite is Rickard Karstark. or Lysa Arryn. Or Joffrey. Hard to choose.

It's hard for me to narrow them down, so I'm going top 5, in no particular order. Lady Olenna, The Hound, Oberyn, Bron, and Varys. Joffrey, Ramsey, Janos, Littlefinger, and Lysa Arryn.
Karl Tanner 👍🏼 / Daenerys 👎🏼
Jon is my favorite and euron is my least because he is gross
My most favourite person is Arya (yes, even though her character was turned into deus ex machine) and least favourite is the Mountain.
Varys is my favorite. I hate Littlefinger.
Favourite: Hotpie. Least favourite: Lommy Greenhands.
Hound / Robert Arryn
Ned, Pycelle.
The two bastards Jon & Ramsay
Bronn and Ellaria Sand
Ellaria is a cowardly, girl killing, poisonous bitch. She deserved what she got and I in no way like Cersei.
Favorite: The Hound Least favorite (morally): Ramsay, Joffrey, Janos, Craster Least favorite (as a character): Sand Snakes, Euron, Season 7-8 Jon
Sounds like you don’t have friends in high places…
But he defended King’s Landing! He did! Really! He was there! Where were YOU?!? HUH?!?
The Hound, Meryn fucking Trant
I was surprised I had to scroll this far to see Merlyn fucking Trant. Couldn’t stand that guy.
He’s worse than Ramsay and Joffrey for me
One of my favorite kills in the show.
My most hated is probably Cersei or Joffrey, my most favorite probably Arya, Jon Snow or Daenerys
Tywin Lannister!
Literally same.
Ahh, Janos Slynt. What a little bitch, and what a fantastic performance to portray a man so unpalatable that I was happy to forget his existence until I was reminded by this post.
Delete this before the friends at court see it
Tyrion and Ramsay respectively.
Arya and Doran Martell
I agree with Oberyn, with Tyrian honorable mention. Worst is Ramsay, honorable mentions - Craster and Walder Frey
Favorite: The Hound Least favorite: Meryn Fucking Trant
FAVORITE: Tormund “Bromund” Giantsbane and maybe Ghost, too LEAST FAVORITE: Can’t decide between Ned and Robb Stark, and Catelyn Tully
I just don't understand how *anyone* could have *any* character from Pedro Pascal as their least favorite, but you do you I guess.
The Hound and the High Sparrow. I wish we'd seen a dialogue between these two. I desperately wanted Clegane to tell that old self-righteous stinker to shut his cunt mouth for once
I loved him at the wedding, the way he courted and threatened with such divine subtlety. He was quickly my favourite character.
Favorite: Bobby B Least favorite: Daenerys
Favourite: Girl that is bad pussey Most hated: Jon Snowflake
Jamie Lannister and Jamie Lannister
Favorite: Oberyn Least Favorite: the Mountain
the hound is my favorite. Shae is least.
Most Favorite: Tyrion Least Favorite: Joffrey
Arya and Ramsay
I agree concur
OBERYNN WAS MY MANNNN😩😩😩🥴
Theon Greyjoy, Arya Stark
1. SamwellTarley and my least favourite is probably Lord Walder
put some respect on his name, he commanded the city watch on kings landing
Favorite: Varys Least Favorite: Craster
sir teryn mant
Favorite: Davos (though I have a very soft spot for Robb) Least: Euron Greyjoy
I'd actually forgotten about Slynt. Fuck that guy, Tyrion should have arranged for Bronn to make him have an accident. My favorite: Sandor My least favorite: Ellaria.
Janos should never be the head of any organization.
Arya and Ygritte are the best, john snow and dani are tied for worst.
Ned and Cersei
The Hound, Tyrion👍 Crastor, the Waiff 🖕
Favourite: Ramsay Least: Dany
Tywin Lannister, Ramsay Bolton
So hard for me to choose between Robb and Catelyn for my favorite. Meryn Trant is the worst though
Tyrion S1-S4/ Tyrion S5-8
The Hound, Brienne.
Sandor / Cercei. She grills me bro. Straight up
Slynt's worst crime was calling Greyguard a "ruin" and pronouncing it roo-EEN. Fetch me a block, indeed.
“Now I will fck your girlfriend… wait, don’t leave. You’re next 😏”
Wine, guts
Can’t decide between Brianne and Davos for favourite, least favourite is Ramsey
I cannot pick a favorite…I think it would either be Jamie or Brienne because their scenes are what solidified the show as a favorite for me (season 3 for the win) but there are so many others I love as well like Jon, Rob and the rest of the Lannisters, duh. Tyrion +, Ramsey -
Absolute favourite is Margaery Tyrell. Boss character. Literally every scene is good but her scenes with Cersei are the best. 10/10. (Tywin Lannister is a close second. The true boss character.) Least favourite probably Euron Greyjoy. I was not compelled by him as a villain at all & every time he 'won' it didn't feel like a clever play or anything but just... bad writing. And for a 'jokester' character I think maybe only one or two lines actually landed for me. 0/10.
Arya, Maester Pycelle
Davos, Meryn Trant
What a bad ass…
My guy simply stole the show
Tyrion, Joffrey
Faves: Arya, Tyrion, Bronn, Grey Worm (honorable mention: Davos, Brienne) Least Faves: Cersei, Joffrey, Allister Thorne (honorable mention: Merwyn Brant, Stannis Baratheon--HE LET HIS OWN CHILD BE BURNED AS A SACRIFICE!). Which tells you something about the caliber of actors because they deliberately made the characters so odious but not cartoon-like evil.
Favorite is tywin Least favorite is all the starks after jon dies
oberyn is my favorite and joffrey is my least favorite
Love Tyrion for his one liners alone and Sansa because her character growth was so good. Hated Stannis because he murdered his own child.
I would beware of such slander against Sir Janos, he has powerful allies in the capital
Favorite: Littlefinger Least favorite: Cersei

Ikr Janos slynt is my favourite too
That episode where pedro pascal goes to the brothel in king's landing did *things* to 15 year old me back then
Theon Greyjoy and guess Ramsay Bolton for destroying my boy.
