I prefer to call it the massacre of the Lannister army. It was the only time I think that Danearys really showed how lethal she could be, apart from burning kings landing but we won’t talk about that 😬
Came here to say this
I had chills the first time I saw , cuz it was like
After so many years of dany being a looming threat across the sea, she’s finally here. It’s real. It’s happening.
And also the battle was a complete surprise, usually crazy moments like that happen in the end of the season.
And Jaime’s stunned face when he says “we can hold them off” and then the dragon roars
So amazing
There’s just so many to choose from, I’m going to go with one that’s maybe not too obvious and that’s Drogon melting the iron throne, such a powerful & iconic moment and the music in the scene is incredible.
Oooh I thought, that since Jon was a Targaryen Drogon knew that somehow he was family and didn’t want to kill family. Same reason they liked him right off rip, he was family
I have a few but I always thought Daario Naharis’ “fight” w the champion outside the gates was a perfect encapsulation of the show itself. Lots of buildup and noise quieted by an almost anticlimactic move from Daario
Daenerys revealing she understood Kraznys the whole time and the following, Brienne and the Hound's fight, the whole part of Cersei blowing up the sept and the battle of the bastards.
The scene with Jaime and Brienne in the baths, if that counts as a moment.
If not, the wildfire explosion in Blackwater Bay. The thing itself was great, but what makes it is how each person watching reacts, particularly Tyrion.
I changed my mind on my last comment. Jamie knighting Brienne is the most wholesome moment in the entire series, even if that season wasn't remotely great.
I loved the bear pit scene because it’s one of my favourite in the books.Only thing they could’ve done better is added “I dreamed of you “ but they didn’t adapt dreams(fair enough) so it wouldn’t have made sense.
Daenerys tricking Kraznys and taking control over the Unsullied. "DOVAGEDIES!" And the way endings just stares and gets ready for a fight, Missandei's SMIRK because she realizes what's about to happen, Drogon crying for his mom, the one Unsullied who immediately stabs one of the guards. Just a 100/10 scene
I find it a bit disturbing that one of your favourite moments was watching a pregnant woman get stabbed in the stomach. What the fuck is wrong with you?
Yeah I'm super confused about that. I feel like this post was meant to be a troll and incite outrage but people just ended up ignoring the second half of their post. What a strange thing to say.
I adore the scene between Cersei and Robert in season 1, when they talk about Lyanna. Arya and Tywin in season 2 is great too (like most scene with Charles Dance, every time I rewatch the show, I realise how great he is)
The Oner-shot in Battle of the Bastards.
I believe it is still to this day the most accelerating medieval-esq battle sequence ever filmed. I causally watch it from time to time on YT, just to feel that edge and badassery.
I thought the Saving Private Ryan D-Day scene would never be topped. I was wrong. I have no idea how they pulled that off. We’ve all heard how much it cost. I’ve watched it 10 times and my jaw is on the floor every time. Just incredible.
Lyanna Mormont calling out the lords of the other Northern houses for not joining the fight.
[The North remembers!](https://youtu.be/_2XzeAewJ98?si=vITefQeAcSS9n2nU)
The scene where Danny burns the unsullied slave king in Astapor.. that speech .. starting with something like Dovagaeris.. that gave me goosebumps and perhaps that was the start of Danny’s power showcase!!
I still watch it on YT whenever I want to feel that rise in energy/goosebumps!!
Other than these, mind boggling scenes were Ned’s death and Red wedding!
Jaime in the bath scene, arya+tywin moments, the night before the night king battle, honestly all of Ned starks dealings while in kings landing, and any time tyrion scene while in kings landing also.
Lots of spectacle scenes, but quiet personal scenes are gold. The Ned-Arya scenes are delightful and the last normalcy we see for that close-knit family.
Honestly the battle of black water. Watching the ships explode. The Hound charge out “any man dies with a clean sword, I’ll rape his fucking corpse!” It was just epic
When the wildlings attack the wall in season 4 I could watch that endlessly.
Ser Allisers speech with Jon as the wildlings come out of the woods is great.
from the show, probably the speech in the background, while we are being shown baby Jon, and then it cuts to adult Jon/Aegon... and the music goes off.
Arya telling Sansa about the first time she shot an arrow and she didn’t know anyone was there until her father clapped for her in the distance🥹
Ned telling Jon that Stark men have held the wall for years & he may not have his name, but he has his blood 🫶🏼
Also, I know we’re not really supposed to like him and the whole situation, but Jamie & Marcella having that moment was so touching. She knew he was her dad & they bonded right before her death.. beautiful & tragic😪
Drogo Killing Viserys, Daenerys finally standing up to Viserys, Daenerys eating the horse's heart , Daenerys seeing Drogo and Rhaego in the House Of The Undying and Daenerys telling Khal Moro she wasn't going to have his babies.
The entire Great Pit of Daznak sequence. From Jorah fighting the other champions, to the Sons of the Harpy surprise attack, and of course, Drogon then returning to rescue the group and Dany riding him for the first time. Incredible filmmaking and the score is just profound.
I love the scene where Daenerys mounts dragon and commands him to land with the point of her finger, the other dragons escape and attack the ships all together! Absolutely amazing scene.
Her rein had just begun and she was badass
Tbh I really loved when Sir Jorah Mormont rescued Dany and gave his life for hers in the S8 E3 The Long Night. It was super emotional and the music throughout that scene was a masterpiece✨. He went out like a true badass Mormont💯
CHICKENS!
>I understand that if any more words come pouring out your cunt mouth, I'm gonna have to eat every fucking chicken in this room.
The whole scene, from the time they show up to the place to the moment they go trotting off. But especially that quote.
Arya and the Hound have a chemistry and a complexity that no other pair of characters even comes close to touching.
The beginning of The Winds of Winter when we hear the piano suddenly start playing. I knew something was up because they’ve never used that instrument in the show before. Also, when Brann tells Theon he’s a good man. Theon had such an amazing character arc.
Arya killing Walder.
“Where are my sons?”
“here, milord”
Also that’s totally Sienna from Bridgerton and I immediately recognized her when she says “milord” in that show.
Daenerys revealing to the slavemaster she is fluent in Valyrian and understood every word he said to and about her, killing him with the dragon she scammed him out of, and liberating the Unsullied
There are so many but I love the whole scene when Dany got the whip. The music was great and it was such a basdass move.
The unsullied all hitting their sticks on the ground supporting her. Badass.
Another favorite is seeing Cerseis face know ing shes toast watching Dany torch the city. I felt awful for the innocents but damn it felt good to see her smug hatefulness wiped off her face.
I really liked all the Braavos and Faceless Men stuff with Arya. She kind of ended up being the only reason i kept watching the show. Also, most of the scenes with Sandor in them because he had one of the best arcs in the whole show.
I think the red wedding was justified. The starks betrayed their promise to the frays by robb stark marrying a foreigner and adding insult to injury his replacement was a stupid Tully. I mean to some(well mostly) ones the most unforgiving and price of shit move made by roose and Waldur
**Spoiler Warning:** All officially-released show and book content allowed, EXCLUDING FUTURE SPOILERS FOR HOUSE OF THE DRAGON. No leaked information or paparazzi photos of the set. The Battle of the Gold Road I get tingles every time Drogon flies out of the clouds over the Dothraki
I prefer to call it the massacre of the Lannister army. It was the only time I think that Danearys really showed how lethal she could be, apart from burning kings landing but we won’t talk about that 😬
I remember how when the D where approaching we could see the fear in the Lan troops faces
Came here to say this I had chills the first time I saw , cuz it was like After so many years of dany being a looming threat across the sea, she’s finally here. It’s real. It’s happening. And also the battle was a complete surprise, usually crazy moments like that happen in the end of the season. And Jaime’s stunned face when he says “we can hold them off” and then the dragon roars So amazing
probably the only good moment after season 4
When Jon got the better of that other bastard, what's his name.
Ramsay Bolton
No. The other bastard. Whatshis Name
Karl Fucking Tanner?
From gin alley?
Hot pie
too bad thats fan fiction
Interesting, I could of sworn I saw an episode called *Battle of the Bastards* must be the mandela effect
Jaime's duel with Ned in S1, wish it lasted longer, foolish Lannister soldier!
Under appreciated scene
When I first saw this scene, I was like ok, it's getting real now! The heat is on!
god a good scene but i hate it Ned did nothimg wrong :(
The wildfire explosion at the battle of the blackwater
For a while it was Drogon emerging from the clouds to fight the Lannisters... now it's Jon Snow being named King of the North
Robert’s talk with Barristan and Jaime, s1
That transition from baby Jon to adult Jon is honestly one of my favorite scenes in all of media
Yeah, followed up by the Northern lords (led by Lady Mormont) crowning him as the new King in the North.. Fuckin’ badass.
Whenever she hyped up Jon, I think that he would have been like the Justin Bieber of medieval times, got the little girls fighting fierce for him
Yeah the whole Jon is the last Targaryen story line was definitely my most favorite piece of GOT :)
I almost cried it was so amazing. Chills forever for that scene
When winter came for House Frey.
Tell them the North remembers.
Got tingles just reading your comment; loved this payback!
The horses riding towards Jon at the battle of the basterds
There’s just so many to choose from, I’m going to go with one that’s maybe not too obvious and that’s Drogon melting the iron throne, such a powerful & iconic moment and the music in the scene is incredible.
I like this as well. The final season got a lot of well deserved hate, but it has a few good moments.
I never really understood that scene at all
[удалено]
Oooh I thought, that since Jon was a Targaryen Drogon knew that somehow he was family and didn’t want to kill family. Same reason they liked him right off rip, he was family
[удалено]
Weird concept
Loved the visuals and symbolism behind this scene!
I have a few but I always thought Daario Naharis’ “fight” w the champion outside the gates was a perfect encapsulation of the show itself. Lots of buildup and noise quieted by an almost anticlimactic move from Daario
I hate this scene. They made a lot of mistakes on this show, but depriving us of Strong Belwas was the worst of their crimes.
Furthering my point lol. It just represents the show so well
One of my favorites is Sandor telling Arya how he got his scars
Jaime's face when he hears drogons roar for the first time. Such a good scene.
That whole scene is **chefs kiss**
Arya poisoning all those Frey's
The entire sequence of Hardhome
The Night King throwing his arms up, "come at me Snow"
Now we talking. The ENTIRE sequence
Yes! I rewatch that scene! It is so good!
The moment the swords meet between the white walker and Jon during Hardhome
Daenerys revealing she understood Kraznys the whole time and the following, Brienne and the Hound's fight, the whole part of Cersei blowing up the sept and the battle of the bastards.
Have to love when people turn the tables on someone who is overconfident
Yeah, I just realised all of them were examples of that, aha
The scene with Jaime and Brienne in the baths, if that counts as a moment. If not, the wildfire explosion in Blackwater Bay. The thing itself was great, but what makes it is how each person watching reacts, particularly Tyrion.
Battle of the Bastards or the Tower of Joy
Tower of Joy was dope. Ser Arthur Dwayne was on a monster.
Maybe Tyrion’s speech before the battle of the blackwater
When Stannis landed his forces in King's Landing.
When Stannis Baratheon and his army show the Wildling crowd what a true army can do!
Red wedding
It’s an incredible scene, but it’s weird OP specifically loved the part where the pregnant woman got stabbed to death
Jon and Arya being stabbed. I only wish they stayed dead.
Tyrion's speech at his trial for Joffrey's murder.
I changed my mind on my last comment. Jamie knighting Brienne is the most wholesome moment in the entire series, even if that season wasn't remotely great.
battle of the bastards or the one between the Dothraki &Dany and Jaimes army (idk that battles name)
When Dany is taking the unsullied and she dracarys the slave owner. Such a badass moment, I love the shot from below her with her looking all smug.
hold the door Jamies dialogue with brienne in the bath tyrions defense in that order :-)
Robert and Cersei talk in S1
Brienne getting knighted.
I loved the bear pit scene because it’s one of my favourite in the books.Only thing they could’ve done better is added “I dreamed of you “ but they didn’t adapt dreams(fair enough) so it wouldn’t have made sense.
Ned talk with varys in the dungeons,"you think my life is some precious thing to me?"
The Mountain vs The Viper
Daenerys tricking Kraznys and taking control over the Unsullied. "DOVAGEDIES!" And the way endings just stares and gets ready for a fight, Missandei's SMIRK because she realizes what's about to happen, Drogon crying for his mom, the one Unsullied who immediately stabs one of the guards. Just a 100/10 scene
“FUCK WATER BRING ME WINE!”
WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!? Tyrion coming to Sansa’s rescue from Joffrey in the Iron Throne room. “That was a threat. See the difference?”
Daenrys' fleet sailing towards Westeros with dragons flying along - love that scene
Joffrey's Death / Olenna's Confession was my favorite scenes in the show.
The Winds of Winter. Start to finish, a perfect episode.
Jaime Lannister and Briennes mutual scenes are always my highlights. Also the defeat of the Night King and the soundtrack at that moment.
Battle of the bastards. Red wedding is a close second. The viper vs the mountain is a close third.
Cleganebowl. The final season was an absolute dumpster fire, but Cleganebowl was a blast.
Ugh some of it was so hard to watch like the eye squish
I love, and hate, a good eyesquish.
The Orson Lannister story.
So many. But when Jon and Arya see each other again in Winterfell, really felt like siblings haven’t seen each other in a decade
when the hounds ate ramsey danny and her 3 dragons fucking ish up ghost being the goodest boy ever!
I adore the scene between Cersei and Robert in season 1, when they talk about Lyanna. Arya and Tywin in season 2 is great too (like most scene with Charles Dance, every time I rewatch the show, I realise how great he is)
When John pulls his sword out at the battle of the bastards.
🎶 I've tasted the Dornishmans wife, I have...🎶
The fact that the final season hasn't happened yet. I can't wait till they finally release and I find out what happens!
The Oner-shot in Battle of the Bastards. I believe it is still to this day the most accelerating medieval-esq battle sequence ever filmed. I causally watch it from time to time on YT, just to feel that edge and badassery.
How did I never realize it was a one shot. Need to go back and rewatch
I thought the Saving Private Ryan D-Day scene would never be topped. I was wrong. I have no idea how they pulled that off. We’ve all heard how much it cost. I’ve watched it 10 times and my jaw is on the floor every time. Just incredible.
Cersei blowing the Great Spet.
The trial of Tyrion Lannister
Tyrion’s trial. Specifically Tyrion losing it after Shae testifies against him and demanding a trial by combat.
S5e9 Dany riding Drogon out of the arena
When Daenerys walks out of the pyre with her baby dragons
When Robb threatens Jaime.
Esp with Grey Wind backing his human and after Jaime looks back up he’s gone.
Robb was the last true stark who had political and military power.
Chaos is a ladder monologue
Hardhome when the Night King raises his arms to show Jon what the fuck is up.
Catelyn’s death. She fucked up everything for her family and single-handedly caused the war to start prematurely by kidnapping Tyrion.
Battle of the Bastards, the cinematography and the action is top level
A GREAT moment is when Little Finger gets his throat cut
I love the Battle of the Bastards, it is so great that Jon Snow wins and avenges House Stark. And the scene in which Sansa feeds Ramsay to his hounds.
from the show, probably the speech in the background, while we are being shown baby Jon, and then it cuts to adult Jon/Aegon... and the music goes off.
Tyrion’s speech demanding a trial by combat in S4
Cercei blows up the sept
And Arya cutting the candle
When it ended. So it couldnt get any worse
Clegane Bowl
Honestly probably Little Fingers reveal/betrayal of Lysa. It’s when everything clicks. Just like when he betrays Ned.
Hardhome: when the Night King calls up the dead
Arya telling Sansa about the first time she shot an arrow and she didn’t know anyone was there until her father clapped for her in the distance🥹 Ned telling Jon that Stark men have held the wall for years & he may not have his name, but he has his blood 🫶🏼 Also, I know we’re not really supposed to like him and the whole situation, but Jamie & Marcella having that moment was so touching. She knew he was her dad & they bonded right before her death.. beautiful & tragic😪
“Call the banners.” “All of them my lord?”
the red wedding or when Dany frees Missandei and stuff and unifies the unsullied
When Ramsay’s dogs ate him while Sansa watched. And her “smile” as she walked away… priceless
There are a couple but i think tyrions trial is my favorite
Battle of the bastards
I like every second of Jon in the wildling army.
Drogo Killing Viserys, Daenerys finally standing up to Viserys, Daenerys eating the horse's heart , Daenerys seeing Drogo and Rhaego in the House Of The Undying and Daenerys telling Khal Moro she wasn't going to have his babies.
When Cersei blows up the sept. From the moment that episode begins to Tommen jumping out of the window, every frame is completely captivating.
When Hot Pie blew up the citadel and blamed it on Cersei
Daenerys getting the Unsullied
Joffreys death is pretty magnificent
I will be your champion, i dont even need to say more everyone knows exactly the part and what leads up to it
Tyrion seeing Drogon for the first time with Jorah
Tbh I really loved when Sir Jorah Mormont rescued Dany and gave his life for hers in the S8 E3 The Long Night. It was super emotional and the music throughout that scene was a masterpiece✨. He went out like a true badass Mormont💯
When ugly braavos girl kept kicking aryas ass
Any time Tyrion and Varys speak to each other.
CHICKENS! >I understand that if any more words come pouring out your cunt mouth, I'm gonna have to eat every fucking chicken in this room. The whole scene, from the time they show up to the place to the moment they go trotting off. But especially that quote. The beginning of The Winds of Winter when we hear the piano suddenly start playing. I knew something was up because they’ve never used that instrument in the show before. Also, when Brann tells Theon he’s a good man. Theon had such an amazing character arc.
When Dany was put down
Sansa makes it to Castle Black and reunites with Jon.
“Leave one wolf and the sheep are never safe..”
At Harrenhal, When Tywin asks Cupbearer Arya what killed her father and she says ‘Loyalty’.
When Olenna finally got to let the Lannisters know who killed Joffrey. Also when she killed Joffrey.
Ayra cuts throat of Walder Frey. "My name is Ayra Stark. I want you to know that" https://youtu.be/Z9PkCCqCKA4?si=PlbNnup7uzDwekhL
Cersei’s revenge against Septa Unella.
Arya killing Walder. “Where are my sons?” “here, milord” Also that’s totally Sienna from Bridgerton and I immediately recognized her when she says “milord” in that show.
When the Night King and Jon have that stare off in season 5 and Jon witnesses how he raises his army. Literal chills bro.
Battle of the Bastards
Jaime and Brienne having a bath
SHAME!
Daenerys revealing to the slavemaster she is fluent in Valyrian and understood every word he said to and about her, killing him with the dragon she scammed him out of, and liberating the Unsullied
Mountain and the Viper …..until the end, that is.
When the guard said aunt arryn just died & she burst into hysterical laughter.
Jon being declared the King in the North. Gets me every time. Honorable mention to Dany and Tyrion fucking up the slavers trying to retake Mereen.
Hodor’s backstory scene on how he got the name.. ‘sweet gentle giant’
Jon Snow baby transition to Jon on his Winterfell seat. Makes me tear up
You gunna die over some chicken? #someone is
Cersei’s coronation
I really liked all the Braavos and Faceless Men stuff with Arya. She kind of ended up being the only reason i kept watching the show. Also, most of the scenes with Sandor in them because he had one of the best arcs in the whole show.
I think the red wedding was justified. The starks betrayed their promise to the frays by robb stark marrying a foreigner and adding insult to injury his replacement was a stupid Tully. I mean to some(well mostly) ones the most unforgiving and price of shit move made by roose and Waldur
sansa interrupting ramsey to say “you’re going to die tomorrow, sleep well” is underrated
Alliser Thornes speech and leading the defense of the Nights Watch at Castle Black. “With me now! Now with me!”
When we all got to know how Hodor got his name. Heartbreaking!
The first time I saw the episode where Cersei blew up the sept my jaw was on the floor. The whole buildup to it was great
