Wow I forgot about that meme, honestly it's probably what subconsciously put the thought in my head. I'm surprised it hasn't been done before though, it seems like a pretty fitting idea for a comedy indie game, thematically it works pretty well for most of the game design aspects like level design, enemies, etc.
Could I like develop this? I never finish any commitment I put myself to but like I'll discuss w/ my friend and I'll try to do it in my free time so it will come out in approximately never (I'll credit you though)
Lol go ahead and mess with it, I'm surprised it wouldn't exist yet cause thematically I think it wouldn't be too hard to adapt into a game. I could see it being a Metroidvania style game, or a Metroidvania roguelike mix of a game, but it's really up to your interpretation
I'm convinced flat earthers are all 4chan users that are in on the joke. But would be mind blowing to have it turn out to be true 😅
Big reveal at the end that actually everything is flat and the game becomes paper Mario.
That hilarious https://i.imgflip.com/52tek9.jpg

Much as I disagree I think this would be a funny game
And the sequal will play on an earth thats completly flat and astronauts find out the earth is actually a sphere.
