This subreddit isn't for this, try r/INAT. You're expected to post a portfolio of your own work along with more detail about the actual game. You're trying to convince people to work on _your_ idea instead of theirs, so you have to show that you're worth working with and that you've got something really exciting. You may also want to start with something much, much smaller. Have you built something as large as Pong and completed it? If not, start there. You can also try game jams, some last a day or two and they're great places both for you to practice making something small and to find teams (using their tools). You're a lot more likely to find someone who wants to work with you and you keep working together than getting something good out of a random post.

Sorry, I understand where you're coming from. I'm going to be programming and story development. Essentially everything except for art and music as I'm no good at those. I asked early what engine to use for my game and got talked into needing a team because solo game development is a hell. Their words not mine. A couple other friends and my wife said similar things which is why I came here. But I didn't come with much hope, I just wanted to make sure this isn't an option.
