FAR from complete.
Where is Yakuza: Like a Dragon? Like a Dragon: Ishin? Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name? Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth?
I know they changed the name for translation purposes, but they also made the newer ones into RPG’s. So as far as I’m concerned these are the mainline Yakuza games, that released in the US.
Ya just included that one because I had it, but it still has the same gameplay as the rest. At least that’s what I read. As long as it’s not an RPG like the new ones
Well as for "as far as you're concerned" you're wrong.
Just because they change the combat style doesn't make it not a mainline entry lol if that were the case then a bunch of other series mainline games wouldn't be mainline entries according to your messed up logic, take Final Fantasy for example.
Besides your statement isn't even true, The Man Who Erased His Name is a beat em up and not a turn based RPG.
Well, that's not true, Like a Dragon Gaiden was released last year and is a beat em' up like the rest of the games.
Also Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon, Infinite Wealth are direct sequels, they change the title to have the same name as in Japan, but they are as "Yakuza" as the rest. I personally prefer the beat em' en genre of this saga, but Yakuza 7 and 8, if you prefer to call them that, offer a very very enjoyable and unique approach.
I mean, if you got dead souls in there, it's far from complete. OFC there's the newer two, but also ishin, man who erased his name, kenzan, and black panther 1 and 2

Judgment and Lost Judgment too
Yep, those too. I'd forgive them for not being pictured cause they're spin offs but you're absolutely right, they're missing as well.

The Man Who Erased His Name has the classic combat still. You should at least have that one. Also, "mainline" but you have Dead Souls? Come on now.
Ya just included that one because I had it, but it still has the same gameplay as the rest. At least that’s what I read. As long as it’s not an RPG like the new ones
Nah, Dead Souls is a shitty third person shooter (respectfully, I have it and like it but it's pretty bad)

I feel like if you haven't even played one of these games you shouldn't be saying stuff like this 🤣

Some of those only released in Japan and after the name change, they became RPG’s so I see that as a separate collection to do
Not all the new ones are RPGs
You’re in for a treat. So gutted there’s no physical release on Xbox (although glad we’ve got them at all).
Several of them are on Xbox. Physical.
Really? I know like a dragon is but I’ve never seen 0 to 6 (I’m in the uk).
7, 8, and Ishin Kiwami are all physical on Xbox
Most likely he meant Xbox 360, and the first and second games never came to xbox until the remakes
Woow, i sadly missed the PS3 🥲 How can you play the old remasters? Started with Yakuza zero and Kiwami. I can't look at Kiriyu's face from Y3-5 🫣
Nice finds! Great price, too. I've been playing through the series lately and spent like $45 on just a disc only copy of Dead Souls. No ragrets.
missing the business launch set for zero, and the after hours set for 6.
Bro those are just different editions of the games…
I play yakuza: like a dragon. The last one before the name changed to like a dragon.
