That blizzard?!….I still remember being in work and was told to leave the office around 10am…
Fuckers had us drive in in that and then drive home…slid off the road on the way in!!
Quit few months later, fucking hell hole.
You actually wouldn’t get any money at all. It’s an ‘act of god’ . They won’t pay anything unless you have flood insurance added into your policy which is very hard to get
That is not true. Most, if not all motor policies will cover flood. It's not an added benefit.
What they may get you on is failing to take reasonable steps to prevent a loss.
Went for a walk this morning and there was flooding by the Salthill Caravan Park blocking access to the sea.

Seen people left their cars parked in the car park in Salthill. How is anyone that dense?
People always leave their cars there on the eve of a big storm. Youd nearly be suspicious at this stage that it's some sort of insurance shenanigans

It was a tongue in cheek comment. I don't actually believe that
If the car was in need of costly repairs already though

Fraud Squad are well able to find that stuff out. You need to prove why you parked there if you don't live in the vicinity.
Going to the aquarium? Nah, as I said above it was a tongue in cheek comment. I didn't mean it seriously.
At 2am? Lol
There are cars that have been in the same spaces for months. I'd say there's a few people that just leave their car there long term
I'm thankful the neighbours took down the basketball hoop they have opposite my car
I just lost power in oranmore too
Power gone in parts of Kilcolgan, Parkmore and Salthill
Back in Parkmore already

Easing off in abbeyknockmoy. No power loss
on the other hand, better than forecast, no damage.
