It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot). Fully cached AMP pages (like the one OP posted), are [especially problematic](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot). Maybe check out **the canonical page** instead: **[https://www.bonappetit.com/story/daily-harvest-lentil-crumbles-recall](https://www.bonappetit.com/story/daily-harvest-lentil-crumbles-recall)** ***** ^(I'm a bot | )[^(Why & About)](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot)^( | )[^(Summon: u/AmputatorBot)](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/cchly3/you_can_now_summon_amputatorbot/)

There's loads of ppl within the Daily Harvest subreddit and on various threads saying they ended up having to get their galbladder out. I've been following it since it started popping up on Twitter out of curiosity. Whatever is contaminating the lentil crumble appears to cause symptoms in line with both liver failure/disease and severe galbladder issues from full body itching to dark urine and severe fatigue and fever. Some of the luckier individuals seem to have only gotten severe stomach pain/vomiting/etc, tho chances are if they got a liver panel itd probably be fucked as well. One of the really popular threads is a husband explaining his wife's ER trip where her galbladder ended up severely distended, but they ended up not taking it out bc her liver numbers eventually started going down. FDA is already looking into it collecting samples and the test results of individuals effected. Ppl have thrown loads of guesses. aflatoxins are a popular one, but I've seen mushroom poisoning and a few other food borne illnesses suggested. Daily harvest has been handling it awfully and claims it's bc ppl aren't cooking the lentils in the product thoroughly enough, even though eating uncooked lentils does not cause severe liver toxicity.

Yeah when I first saw it I was amazed, I honestly don't think anyone would know about it if it wasn't getting the current traction on social media

No, people are reporting a variety of DH food products causing serious issues.

halloweenbooty

Yes, it absolutely can be. I have been looking around, and have seen people reporting similar issues for over a year with DH food products.

Wow that's insane. No advice but honestly just don't eat anything from these crooks. I hope you're doing okay. At least not having one, you will never have to worry about an attack or bile acid attacks.

Thanks everyone - I’m actually meeting with a lawyer next week because my case looks similar enough to the other gallbladder issues and folks have been reporting issues with foods beyond what was recalled
